Starting in Chiang Mai, we visited stunning temples like Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh, which were rich in history. Crossing the border into Laos was seamless, and the overnight train was surprisingly comfortable. In Laos, Luang Prabang was the highlight for us.
