- JPJessica· November 18th, 2024Arkshardham is the largest Hindu temple in Asia covered in beautifully intricate carvings and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Chetan, was extremely knowledgeable and explained the meaning behind the detail in a clear, engaging way. We learnt so much. A must see attraction in Delhi! Security is very high at the temple (no bags, phones, cameras etc) and we were glad to be able to leave our belongings securely with our driver, skipping the long cloakroom queue. This made our trip very efficient.Show more

The Hindu complex is both traditional and modern (official opening only in 2005), with stunning architectual designs and intricate carvings (flora, forna & various figures), as well as ornate sculptures & shrines! The overwhelming Akshardham Mandis is the main attraction in the complex, so huge, so beautiful! The complex even contained about 150 life-size stone elephant to represent their importance in Hindu culture.
