Our cabin on the Silver III had a persistent very unpleasant and pervasive smell from our en-suite. We reported it immediately and the ships manager Mr. Hansen did his best - engineering services etc - to moderate the stench but it was with us from Budapest to completion. We filed a report with Luffner via their website but to date there has been zero response. We have asked our travel agent to follow up in case they have more clout. We certainly are disinclined to ever use Luffner Amadeus and the experience on this trip has turned us off European river cruises.

The entire staff was wonderful & friendly. Cabin exceeded my expectations. The only negative is I personally wished we had more free time in the cities. Tours were good but there is a limit as to how many churches one wants to see. Tour coaches were great & clean. I would recommend TourRadar to friends.

Excellent! Loved everything about the cruise. Your services were excellent as well. I missed my connecting flight to Passau and the captain agreed to stop on the route to pick me up. Now that’s service!

We love Amadeus! There is something special, warm and welcoming about this cruise line. We've sailed on multiple other lines and Amadeus is our favorite! Immaculate ships, exceptional crew and delicious food and wines. The chef is very accommodating and tries to cater to every passengers wishes. I can't say anything but positive things about Amadeus! We are about to sail them again in September, 2023 and in April, 2024! Can't wait!

Nice staff, good tasty food. Ship overall in very good condition. Cabins comfortable Excursion organization, departure complete chaos due to inexperienced shipboard tour guide. No clear communication through them. Edi in service was our top waiter. Thanks again, also to the rest of the crew.

Very happy with the responsiveness of the travel agents and thorough information provided by Tourradar. The reason for the GOOD rating and not EXCELLENT is because I received the cruise vouchers only two days before my departure to Europe, which caused a great deal of angst.

This is our first river cruise. Amadeus Imperial is a beautiful river cruise vessel with excellent staff and service. Our room was very clean and serviced daily. The entire staff is efficient and quickly responds to any request. Cruise Director Marc was entertaining and innovative with games before and after dinner and a few shows from local performers. Loved the Panorama Bar and the nightly singer duo Tina and Ioane, the restaurant with sumptuous meals (I gained 3 pounds) and awesome sundeck. Kudos to Luftner and the entire Amadeus Imperial staff. We are impressive with the service and accommodations.

Dear Sir or Madam, On 30.06.2020 we booked a cruise on the Danube with you for the 16.07.2021 to 23.07,2021, booking number BU2613058. The trip then started under corona conditions in Leipzig. On arrival in Passau, embarkation took place with temperature taking and the usual procedure. This was followed by the safety drill and the information talk. For 19.00 o'clock the dinner was planned and the guests stood then starting from 19:00 o'clock before the closed door of the dining room, in this corridor were then suddenly no longer to be kept, particularly since the persons which had to go to their cabins, also still had to go through. The door to the dining room was then opened with 20 minutes delay. On this evening, the toilets in the cabins on the entire ship also failed. On Saturday, the toilet system was still broken and by the cruise director, the culprits were of course the guests on board, this was emphasized by her several times. For most of the guests, this was an impossible occurrence and also an untenable condition. From us constantly the hygiene rules demand and on the barge itself nothing worked. We then learned that our trip is the first after a long time. For this reason, the staff was also new, which we of course felt. The Schaff had presumably also suffered due to the standstill, see toilets and the faucets in the shower were also only under a considerable effort to operate. If one ordered a drink this was paid by the signature of course immediately. If you were lucky you got it quickly, if you were unlucky it was not there after 20 minutes and on inquiry you only received "my colleague does it". It also happened that 4 people ordered, 2 water, 1Cola and a beer, a water came immediately and the other drinks only after repeated requests, we felt like at the apprentice training for waiters. But it was not only the waiters, in the kitchen it was not änderst what you noticed in the quality of the dishes. We took a trip from Basel to Amsterdam on the same ship and were very satisfied, but what was offered to us this time was completely unprofessional. The cruise director is perhaps good for the shipping company but not for the guests. She never made mistakes although she was pointed out several times it was always the others and mostly the guests. Her announcements over the loudspeakers could not be heard in the dining room or in the cabins. Also at the events the microphone was changed several times because it did not work. The excursion to Bratislava had to be cancelled for us, because the Slovaks did not allow unvaccinated or recovered people into the country. We demand this money back of course. When we booked the trip, over a year ago, nothing was known about an entry ban and I am not willing to pay for services that were not provided. I wanted to get a certificate from the cruise director for the Bratislava excursion, but was refused. The excursions Vienna and Budapest were good, Kalocsa went also still. In Melk then nothing is right, the stay in Dürnstein had the length of 30 minutes and then there was a bus ride of over an hour to another pier. In Melk were also still 2 people ber the ship was gone. With us on the bus was a tour guide from Polster and Pohl, she was ever known to us, but not to the passengers from the other buses. She first appeared on Tuesday when she walked from table to table at breakfast, but that was it. On the way home in our bus to Leipzig, she then also admitted to deficiencies in the execution of the trip. On Wednesday after the trip, we received the message that guests had been infected with Corona on board.

The staff was friendly and the service was really good. The excursions were all worth visiting. I enjoyed the stay in Amadeus Brilliant. In addition, Tourradar was reliable. It gave me prompt assistance wherever I asked a question or requested help.
