The tour was only focused on French speaking passengers. Although we were only a few people speaking English it would only be respectful towards us to acknowledge us and communicate in English to us

Dear Mrs. Cloete, we are truly sorry you to read about your experience. The guides should have at least been bilingual. Please be assured we are particularly keen to make sure our international clientele receive the same treatment as French speaking... Show more

We have one serious gripe. Before we left Australia on the 2nd April 2019 we received our tickets for both the Croisi Europe tours we had booked. The last of them was this river cruise from Amsterdam. We were supplied with a map to reach the ship. This map stated "The boat is moored at the boarding Quay Azartplein" With the ship position marked and circled in black. We arrived from Lille Fr. to Amsterdam by Bus which left us at Bijlmer Arena at 6.00PM. We were then directed to a tram which took us to Weespeplein about 30 M from the designated boarding site Azartplein arriving about 7.00PM. However the ship was not moored here, our mobile phones did not work here and there are not many people around. A person in a nearby pub directed us to walk to the end of a long veemkade (dock) to where a large ocean cruise ship was docked. this dock was blocked at this point. It was becoming very cold, In desperation we hailed a passing cyclist, we were fortunate that he had good English and had received help himself when visiting Australia. Although we had the telephone number of the Monet it was in our emails on our telephones which had failed to switch to a new telco provider in The Netherlands (it did next day). Luckily our new friend thought about the Harbour Master, so he rang there, the Harbour Master was able to tell him the mooring for the Monet had been changed to Coenhaven. Our friend then rang a taxi and took us to the Taxi rank. The trip to Coenhaven took some 20 minutes by car. We carefully checked our emails once on board for any notification of the change of mooring and found none. There was a serious breakdown in communications either between CroisiEurope and the travel agent Tourradar or between Tourradar and us. This is not a situation we would wish on anyone arriving in a strange city at days end. Our arrival at the Monet was met with great joy by the ship management team, we were given an upgraded room and given a special late dinner with a bottle of wine. We cannot complain about our treatment once on board.

Dear Mr. Scholefield, We are very sorry, it must have been a really stressful way to start the trip. The mooring dock was indeed changed at the last minute. We failed to inform some clients in time and would like to apologize. Tourradar is absolutely... Show more

The river cruise was lovely. The crew was accommodating and friendly. There was just one small, but important problem. I was the only guest who spoke English. I was lucky that one of the tour guides on the boat was bi-lingual and a few of the crew also. It would have been a much better experience if Tour Radar had realized that this was a French speaking cruise. The crew was surprised when I checked in. This particular cruise was not meant to be bilingual.
