- Cetin· April 7th, 2025Hasan, our driver, drove very professionally and we felt very comfortable at all times. Everything went smoothly and without complications, so we were able to enjoy the trip all the more. Apart from the hotel in Marrakesh, all the hotels were clean and comfortable. All the hotels were very central. It was just a shame that we were only told one day before our visit to the Jardin Majorelle that we still had to buy the tickets online. As we only found out so late, there were no tickets left. However, because we were still very happy with how the trip went and were able to make some wonderful memories in beautiful places, the 5 stars are absolutely justified. We would recommend the trip and Morroco tours at any time.Show more
- Gitu· April 3rd, 2025I had a good time in Morocco. We were two of us travelling . We were provided with a car and a driver(Anaour) who was the very proficient on the road, helpful, accommodative. We felt very safe and taken care off. The accommodation in some Raids were very disappointing. The rooms were tiny, practically no place to keep the luggage, dirty, unvacuumed, the sheets were dirty and the bedding and the pillow had a very gritty smell. The highlight of the accommodation was Riad Gabis in Dades valley. It was a small cozy inn, with clean place friendly staff and a 5 star meal cooked my the owner himself( as we were vegetarian). I recommend any who is visiting Morocco to definitely visit Raid Gabis. The low point of our stay was in the Sahara desert where we had chosen a tent experience. We were just two ladies as guest in the whole camp. There was no other guest in these tents. The food was stale. We were provided guides in four cities. Amal in Fes was just outstanding, very informative and enthusiastic to show around.. she gave us an authentic experience of Fes. the guide in Volubilis, wanted to wrap the tour in just 10-15 mins and kept on insisting that we turn back. We had to explore most of Volubilis on our own. We didn't have much of a different experience in Bin Hadouth either. He was not to willing to take us inside the kabsa and wanted to just point out stuff from outside. The worst of the lot was in Marrakech, Mr.Hasan. He meet us in the hotel and got annoyed when we read to him what the itinerary. He was unencouraging for us to visit the mosque, tombs, palace etc, saying its a long walk, kept insisting how much the ticket costs and if we can manage to pay that etc... but the worst was we asked him a question. He started to shout saying that we don't trust him etc, despite of us asking him very politely, to continue the tour, he kept up his attitude and we had to let him go. This behavior of and guide shouting on travelers in a visitor filled alley was definitely a new experience for me. Over all I had a good travel and found Morocco a great place for holiday, very safe and offers variety of activities.Show more
- sylvia· March 23rd, 2025My wife and I enjoyed our 14 day Tour of Morocco in March 2025. First and foremost our driver Khalifa was excellent. He was punctual, very friendly and a very good driver in all terrains, traffic and weather conditions. He really made the trip for us. We will recommend him to others who may be interested. The agenda was perhaps a little too jammed packed with long days in the car. We were fortunate that it was just my wife, Khalifa and myself in the car. It was a Toyota Fortuna 4x4, similar to a Lexus RX350 for North American readers. Very comfortable, but would not work for 2 couples plus driver, plus luggage. BTW a regular passenger car would not have been able to traverse the terrain that we enjoyed. Lots of fun going through the sand, water, desert, and rugged road conditions. If you are renting cars, you will not see much of the beautiful desert and wilderness. In thinking about the trip we saw so many things along the way, and it would be hard to take something out. I think a couple more times we had wished that we had an extra night in some of the over night stops. So the same route but add two days. At some of the towns, like Fez, and Marrakech, guides were arranged for us, and they did a very good job walking us around and showing us some cool things that we would have not found on our own. One concern we had was the stop at Nomade Palace Luxury Camp at the Sahara Desert near Merzouga. We arrived a little late after a very long day in the car, which caused a rush to mount camels and get to the dunes to watch the sunsetm and then on to the camp. The camp itself was far from luxury at least in terms of standards set on other tours taken around the world. Dinner was not on par either, and the entertainment really needed some help. As opposed to the terrific evening at Mahjoub Camp near Mhamid. The food was great, and singing and musicians around the campfire were really good. Another small point. If your journey takes you along this similar path, be sure to make arrangement for an extra camel ride in Merzouga (ask your driver). When we arrived at the Chigaga Camp two days later, we were informed that we missed this step, despite the agenda clearly stating that this camel ride was to be included. We were able to clear up the misunderstanding with the help of our driver Khalifa talking to his boss. Again very helpful people. Hopefully the tour company will update the agenda material. BTW we highly recommend wrapping your head and wearing sunglasses/eye protection, as the wind sure can blow the sand. you will need protection. Best hotel along the way was Moulin de Taroudant, pool side room, cold beer and excellent food. Overall, a good safe trip.Show more
