    Thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary, food, service, associated hotel and of course the Amadeus ship, Cara. Ensure you take appropriate layers to accommodate October temperatures, particularly for the Danube delta trip. The tour provides a brief taste of each of 6 countries' cultures and histories - for possible choice returns. I can't think of anything to be a little critical of relative to our journey and the service received.

    I enjoyed it over all. Something I didn’t appreciate was the way the excursions were offered before the tour. In order to do the ones I wanted, I ended up having to take too many. It was exhausting for me and I ended up getting sick. Shorter afternoon only tours would be better.

    I didn’t appreciate how wonderful the food and service were until I took a cruise with another company. I appreciate how well Luftner accommodate solo travellers. This was my second cruise with Luftner, I would definitely go with them again.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 6th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 6th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Lueftner Cruises. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Lueftner Cruises" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
