Sailing with G-Adventures, having Marin as our Skipper and the 4 other passengers exceeded beyond my expectations. It was truly a trip of a lifetime that I will cherish for years to come. - GWGillian (Gill)· September 25th, 2022Overall it was a good experience. The boat was well fitted out and clean and the skipper was himself an excellent sailor. I question though the practice on the boat on which I sailed which failed to observe any safety measures, ie no distribution or mention of life jackets, harnesses or on-deck safety/recovery equipment, no MOB procedure. Personally, I would have liked much more hands-on practice and interaction. I came to sail and it seemed that the skipper was reluctant to involve the guests who wished to participate in more than a perfunctory manner. None of us were happy to be hustled off the boat at 8.30 am when leaving. Whilst appreciating that the boat had to be made ready for the next occupants, no hotel/hostel expects its guests to leave at this early time and we did not check in until 4.0 pm.
