Heidi· August 22nd, 2024It was The Best of UK TOUR and it truly was THE BEST! I am constantly raving about Luke and our driver, Chris, to everyone that asks how my trip was. Luke was organized like none other. He took us to the best services and towns and had many recommendations at each stop. When there was to be a traffic issue ahead of us that would throw the schedule off by a couple hours, he detoured us to another place and set up a lovely extra sightseeing opportunity all before even telling us there would be a change. It was magnificent. The extra bonus stops along the way filled in our experiences beautifully when the bagpiper met us at a rest stop in the Scotland Highlands or we got to meet the man with the donkey who carries his dog for him. Truly bonus experience! Because my husband and I were celebrating our 30th, he made it extra special by contacting the hotels ahead to see if they could provide a bonus experience. We enjoyed two lovely chocolate surprises. Luke’s wake up song, Lovely Day, has made an indelible mark on my heart. It’s now my alarm and ringtone as it transports me back to that fabulous experience. When we left our group a few of us actually cried because he made us into a little family in just 13 days! Luke’s sense of humor and thoughtfulness were only match by his incredible knowledge and delightful storytelling. In fact, when we left the group and were traveling to our hotel I kept noticing interesting sights along the way. I was down right frustrated that Luke’s voice was not filling in the details. I know we got the Holy grail with the guide/driver combo and I hope to have another experience with him in the future.Show more

He was knowledgeable about the places we visited and wasn't shy to share a joke or two about a place. He kept to our itinerary and ensured we arrived to each place timeously.
