  My partner and I did the Everest View Trek. We had the most amazing time and our Guide Arjun was an incredibly genuine, kind and passionate person who we are proud to now call a friend. He went above and beyond to answer our unrelenting questions about his country, culture and to ensure we had a great time. Including, helping me to set up a proposal for my now fiance at Hotel Everest View, Thank you Arjun. This trek took us through some breathtaking scenery and gave us lifelong memories to hold on to. We could not recommend Nepal Hiking Team any higher. We will be back for another trek.

  Outstanding service & amazing trekking experience in Himalaya with memories for a lifetime! I found Nepal Hiking Team on my pre-research on the internet. I always looking for local travel company when traveling. It’s important to me that everything is in good hands, that I can count on them in each of my requirements and that everything is organized well. Local tour providers always know their country best! When I start my mail conversation with Ganga from NHT, I had a very good feeling that this is it – this is the professional company I want to go with to Nepal! I had to change a bit my itinerary and all was perfectly accepted by NHT, exactly according to my needs, to my full satisfaction. Nepal Hiking Team were in one word excellent. 5 star service with smile. Ganga and Balaram were always very responsive and helpful via email to answer all my questions and worries regarding the trek and weather (I took Everest Panorama trek and tour to Chitwan National Park), accommodation, booking, payment. Everything was organized perfectly with no hassles and everything was transparent, with honesty and smile – from alternative way by helicopter to get to Lukla, because the bad weather didn’t allow plane landing, and in order not to lose time, to very nice and extremely patient and supportive, friendly and helpful guide Bishal who helped me with the bag during the trek in Himalaya, and took care of my accommodation and food during the trek, and above that was a great companion and friend, to private transfer to Chitwan park on really not so easy road, to transfer to and from the airport (it was a pleasant sight to see the NHT representative’s smiling face and warm welcome), to perfect choice of Kathmandu accommodation – Kathmandu Suite home hotel, which I warmly appreciated specially when I finally took a hot shower after return from the Everest trek after 6 days without proper hot shower and many many other examples.… Highly recommend. Both trips organized by NHK exceed my expectations. And I have to say I couldn't have done this all without their perfect organization.There is truth in the saying ‘it’s more about the journey than the destination’, and with the Nepal Hiking team they made my journey so much more enjoyable. Nepal is stunning Himalayan beauty, and part of than beauty is its people! Thank you all and wish you lot of satisfied clients! Namaste

  “Fantastic trip!” From the moment of initial contact to the final send off, this trip has been perfect! I was in Kathmandu with a colleague for business for couple days. We figured if we are going to fly half way around the world, we need to see the Everest at very minimum. Friend of mine recommended Nepal Hiking team. And I am very happy she did. Ganga was great. Right from the arrangements and bookings from Canada, he was nothing but professional, accommodating, and friendly. We were taking care of from A to Z. The trip around Kathmandu is well worth it even if you have visited some of the sites already. You will learn a thing or two from the guide and will be driven around the city in air conditioned car, which beats the local taxis! Our trek guide, Bim, was experienced, wise, reliable, and considerate man who had taken fantastic care of us throughout the trek. Next year, when I am back for another (longer) trip, I would love to trek with him once again. We did Everest Panorama Trek, which is basically shorter version of the base camp trek. The challenge of climbing steep trails is more than rewarded by gorgeous views of the top of the world and by the hospitality of people you meet on the way. You are staying in tea houses and the maximum altitude is around 4000m. Flight to and from Lukla is crazy! Namche Bazaar requires effort to get to, but well rewarded by hot showers and decent coffee in multiple bakeries perched on the hills. The next day you will see the Everest for the first time. Guarantee you will never forget that. Make sure you escape the Buddhist monk’s service to watch the sunset over the Everest. Word of advice: - If you are not someone who can run about 5k without dying, you should train before you go. It is certainly not an extreme challenge, but you have to be in a reasonable shape in order to hike at altitudes safely. - become a vegan for the duration of your trip, if you want to avoid diarrhea. The meat and dairy are not safe for multiple reasons (lack of refrigerators and the power that cuts off for several hours daily just some of them). The traditional vegan Nepali food is so much better anyway. - look at the list of required equipment on the Nepal Hiking Team website and do not try to save money on things like shoes and rain gear. - do save money and space in your luggage by getting hiking polls in Kathmandu and giving them away to someone before you leave. - bring a hat and good quality sunscreen. - Also buy toilet paper or wipes when you arrive. You are welcome. - make sure you have lots of space on your camera to take unbelievable pictures! - do leave space in your luggage for shopping at Kathmandu at the end of your trip. Have a fantastic time. This has been one of the best trips EVER!
