- RJRochelle· April 4th, 2019I would suggest a different hotel in Bangkok for the beginning of the tour. The Royal Princess Larn Luang Hotel is very old and not very clean. The first night we woke up to bugs crawling all over the bed. The first hotel should be that of leaving a great impression of the city and of the country. We were not impressed! I would also suggest different accommodations instead of Country Lake Hotel. I don't remember what city it was in but it wasn't very well kept either and the breakfast selections were terrible; hardly anything to choose from.Show more

Guide in Cambodia, Kum, was excellent. He was very informative and helpful and our driver, Rai, was great. Driver, Tom, in Bangkok to River Kwai then to Auythaya was great. Transportation in Chang Mai to the mountains and Chang Rai and back to Chang Mai was very poor. The van had poor shocks and the driver was terrible. Made one of the passengers motion sick and hurt my back for the looong drive back to Chang Mai. Had to insist on a bathroom break.
