- RRichard· August 24th, 2017We did a private sailing trip with Frontier Adriatic this past summer (2017) and it was an amazing, very memorable and unique trip. There was 11 of us total on the trip (6 adults and 5 children, all under 12 years of age) and each and every one of us LOVED the trip and experience. We loved the experience of sailing in the Adriatic, the food in Croatia, the activities we did every day, and equally important, we loved using Frontier Adriatic and having Uros as our skipper/captain. More specific comments below on the company and our trip. PROFESSIONALISM: Frontier Adriatic and specifically, Uros, is an extremely professional sailing company. He is extremely knowledgeable about sailing, navigating through Croatia, boat safety, etc. We felt safe the whole time, even with the five children. As an added perk, he invested time to make sure we "learned" how to sail, how to dock and how to be safe the whole way through -- and he even gave us private lessons on how to stand-up paddle board, sail the inflatable motor dinghy, etc. LOGISTICS AND ITINERARY: We coordinated and arranged everything with Uros -- the daily itinerary all the way down to what we did each day and where we ate. He was very organized, suggested great ideas and catered the itinerary for a group of 11, each with varying degrees of energy, athleticism, food preferences, etc. And most importantly, he was flexible and accommodating on the trip, as we did decide to make a number of last minute changes to our itinerary. SOCIAL ASPECTS: Being on a boat with a skipper means you are around the skipper everyday, almost 24x7. During this time, Uros became more than a skipper to us 11 -- he became part of the group and we all bonded with him as if he were a friend. He is very easy-going and was absolutely fun to hang out with. As a group, we all travel the world frequently (both professionally for work and personally for vacations). Many of us left the trip saying that this was one of the best vacations we ever had. We would definitely use Uros (Frontier Adratic) again!Show moreTrip date: July 2017
- KLKevin· August 10th, 2017The trip was really amazing. Our skipper arranged the boat and our itinerary. If it's any indication of how good they were at planning, we did a trip two years ago with them and loved it so much we came back to them to plan it again. Uros, our skipper, did a great job of designing an itinerary that matched exactly what we wanted (in our case, more nature & less noise at night). He's great with using all the modern tools and adjusting things on the fly based on what we're enjoying and aren't. And to top it all off, he was great company to have. We really enjoyed the trip - very relaxing and invigorating at the same time! Thanks so much - I really hope we get to do it a third time.Show moreTrip date: June 2017
- TTanja· October 6th, 2016Sailing with Uros as a skipper was a crazy experience. We laughed all day, we discovered secret bays, the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic (hint: it is in the Kornati arhipelago) , coolest restaurants (no way I would find them alone) and some funky bars, at the corners of the Adriatic coast and islands. In short - I fell in love with sailing, and my next mission is to make my husband, a clastrophobic pilot who is not comfortable on the sea and until now never set a foot on a sailing boat, fall in love with sailing as well. With Urke, as we call Uros, I am sure I will succedShow moreTrip date: September 2016
