  Bali intro 12-day; Carolyn West No, I've not been bribed nor blackmailed for this, Caro is just incredible. You'd better appreciate my use of the thesaurus too. Caro has been easily the most incredible guide I've had the pleasure of following, and one of the most personable and approachable people I've ever met. There was not a local on the entire tour that was not transparently excited to see Caro, every time, and I think that sums them up perfectly. Their passion for the places, animals, and activities on the tour is so authentic and infectious; I had never, and will never again, be quite so excited for a beach cleanup as I was with Caro. Nor will I ever have as much fun viewing a temple in torrential downpour. I can't credit them enough for the amazing time I've had on this tour, and all the time I've laughed till my tummy hurts. (Bali intro, 12 day) The knowledge Caro has, and has passed on, of the local area, people, traditions, food and customs is outstanding. I feel so much more well-travelled and learned with them as our guide, and empowered to go on solo. They showed us around like a local (literally, in some cases; those ferry loos were not for the weak), and the experience with them was so special. (Not the ferry loos though, I'd pass on them next time) Also, I cannot understate the usefulness of having a photographer as our tour guide - I have my life's worth of profile pictures now, and I was so grateful for the fact I could enjoy every moment and not think about recording it, because Caro was our personal little documenter. I was struck by Caro's sensitivity and empathy; any and all concerns were addressed rapidly, with compassion and precision. I never felt as though there was anything I would be uncomfortable to share with them, or anything they wouldn't be able to help with. Maybe the most level-headed in a non-monkey related crisis person I've ever met (she didn't even scream that loudly when confronted with a rouge monkey on her shoulder, which is impressive in itself.) As an anxious girlie, I've never met someone so willing to sit patiently with me through multiple panic attacks, with reassurence, cuddles and kindness that reduced me to tears every time. Every emotion was validated and understood. There was no judgement from their end the whole trip, even when I had to admit to losing half my underwear leaving it outside to "dry" in a storm. Caro's genuine care for the people she guides shines through, and it's something I've been so grateful for. Their inclusivity meant there was never a person left behind, nor left out, nor uncomfortable at any time. Thank you Caro, for such a wonderful trip 💕

  I had the best time on my Bali 12 day tour. My tour leader Niamh made it soooo special for everyone and I really appreciate her commitment to her job.

  The most amazing experience of my life and that was definitely down to Hendri!! Yes, the trip in itself was incredible and so well organised but it would absolutely not have been the same without him as our group leader.. he was so helpful, knowledgeable and absolutely bloody hilarious!! Thanks for the unforgettable memories and continuous belly laughs brother, see you next time I’ll make sure of it!! ??

  Fantastic tour with a great balance of learning the local culture, nature-exploring activities, and time to socialise with the tour group. Our guide had great local knowledge and connections with the locals, was always enthusiastic, and made himself available to help with any issues at all times. Help with navigation before and after the tour was very helpful and assuring. I could not have asked for a better tour guide and have already put a deposit down for my next Intro tour.

  Unreal experience. Layout of the tour has been brilliant from the activities put on, to the hotels and villas we’ve been staying in. Would defiantly recommend. Finally, massive thankyou to Hendri who definitely made my trip that much better, genuinely great guy and was unbelievable the whole 12 days.

  The tour was filled with fun and exciting activities whilst allowing people the freedom to explore surrounding area. The tour guide was not only friendly and knowledgeable but helpful at every point of the tour making the trip worry free so that I could enjoy the trip

  The tour was amazing ! Andre was fantastic! He was so thoughtful and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. It felt like exploring with a friend, not just a guide. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to book!

  I can’t fault my leader at all, she’s incredible and if it was her alone my star rating would be 5/5! Her dedication, care, time and effort is outstanding not forgetting her dance moves, jokes, shot pouring ability and The tour was also great, I loved most of it, and if anyone was to ask me would I recommend intro and Tess then it’s a yes 1000 times over. For me theres a few little things I’d change. I think less time in lovina, I loved the rice fields tour and surfing and though seeing dolphins was great some free time in the villa would have been amazing because it is is beautiful and one of my favourite times was our group in the pool getting to know each other more it was just too short. I would have liked the option of water rafting in ubud also as the free time here was quite a lot (though appreciated this is something I felt I missed out on because I didn’t account for it in my travelling) Some of the restaurants werent for me but that’s personal and mostly because I loved the home cooked meal and more traditional I would have liked that maybe one night again rather than somewhere western. Saying this I’ve honestly loved so much of it and overall I’d recommend this tour and will be doing another myself so that says a lot.
