I can't believe all the things we managed to fit in, and how much having the guide to give us local knowledge and deal with the egyptian chaos helped us just relax and have a good time. Our guide Ramadan was just fantastic - everything you could have wanted knowledgeable, organised, fun, and a fantastic storyteller who made every bit of history so fascinating and memorable. When our overnight bus to dahab was hindered rather majorly by flash flooding he did the most incredible job of sorting stuff out, and managing to find us a bed for the night back in Hurgada, but most importantly of communicating what was going on to us and the efforts being made by on the go to sort out factors beyond their control. Indeed, right throughout the trip Ramadan was excellent at explaining why the trip was planned as it was (why we had to get up at 5am, what the alternatives were and why they wouldn't be good etc) which made a huge difference to the feeling of the trip and the group. Our fellucca captains (Hamada I and II and ziggy) were such lovely people, and so kind to us for the whole time we were on their boat, singing to us, telling us about their lives, and of course serving the most lovely food. The felucca for me was the absolute highlight of the trip. I was really impressed with the standard of hotels on the whole tour - and the price we payed made the trip excellent value for money. Finally getting to Dahab and the amazing resort there it didn't matter about any of the flooding or lack of sleep we'd missed on the way. Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime!! - AKate Hopkinson· January 17th, 2020First of all I would like to let all the readers know that Egypt is a beautiful, safe and spectacular country that will go way beyond your expectations...You wiill leave wanting more! The King Ramses tour is a perfect way to see the culture and history of Egypt. It really takes you throughout the country by train and bus and explore different aspects of Egypt. Loved how the tour ended with a few days in Hurghada so we could rest and relax before heading home. From the moment we arrived in Cairo On the Go had a rep waiting and welcoming us at the airport. I don't think I can express it enough how professional and warm hearted your tour guides are. We had Momo for most of our tour and Adham on our Nile Cruise. Both very knowledgeable and friendly guides. Momo is right in his element with what he does...His knowledge and passion for his country is evident in his energy and storytelling with every site we visited and through his detailed answers. He was always so patient with the questions and always had a very detailed answer...some of which he may have had to repeat over and over again...But always with a smile. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Each day was filled with laughter and adventure and memories that will be with us for a lifetime. No matter the situation Momo always went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy and okay from day 1 right until we said our goodbyes at the end of the tour. I have done several tours now over the years and Momo has set the bar so high with characteristics of what a tour guide should be. All three of us who traveled together agree that without MOMO our Egypt experience just would have not been the same...He called our group "family" and he definitely treated us all that way... Actually felt like all 32 people on the tour were family...It was hard to say good-bye.
