Michelle· January 12th, 2025Overall, there were several stops that were uninspired and were there mainly to sell things like the gem store in Thailand and the lacquer store in Vietnam. We also felt that having an overview tour when we reached each new city would have been a better choice instead of free time the first day and then a tour the second day. Danny was wonderful and very responsive. He was a great communicator and zipped from guest hotel to guest hotel on his motorcycle to ensure that each guest was properly connected with their daily tour. He was a Superman!!! We think you should a market and night to Hoi An to watch the lanterns on the river We did it on our own and it was unforgettable. Nightlife in Bangkok should also be included. Wish we had more structured tours of Bangkok. The last week we were telling the guides we didn't want to visit anymore. More wildlife and agriculture related excursions should be added. Every tour guide was on time and all of our connections worked our flawlessly. Danny from Legends was always available to answer questions and ensured a well planned trip. - Mo· March 18th, 2024This tour was great but had a couple flaws. As the tourist on this trip, I got a little burned out on the amount of walk through discussions and explanations of the temples visited (23 total). I would have enjoyed them more if there was a free roam granted at all of them. If there are questions, then the guides should be able to be provide asked answers. I was bored by the 5th temple and ready to leave. Also, it should be mentioned a month before the trip of how many of these temples require "conservative" clothing. The temples/mausoleums visited were not all the same as noted in the tour itinerary. For a 19 day tour it is only fair that the traveler is made aware of the proper clothing to pack especially when the weather is very warm, With that said, there were some great destinations visited. The meals provided (mostly lunch) were really good. To future travelers, be aware that in this tour, you will have 5-10 tour guides, and about 7-10 different drivers, all of who "appreciate" at least a $5-$10 /day tip. Danny from the Legends Company was very informative, took care to keep us informed and accessible by Whats up to help and assist with travel issues. We picked a private driver and guide.
