- JHJUNE· May 18th, 2019Very well organised tour. The route notes were extremely detailed and helpful as the route was quite complicated some days - presumably to avoid busy roads. However the country wasn’t good for enjoyable cycling, being treeless and agricultural, and apart from the White Villages I really only enjoyed the scenery on the third day from Montellano to Arcos when the route went through the hills and along the river on a good Via Verde. On the last day getting out of Jerez took an hour then soon after it was semi-industrial wasteland. The Via Verde between Seville and Carmona was in terrible condition with deep ruts and sand. I was also unlucky to get a flat- the seal at the tube valve failed- and I had terrible trouble changing the tube- the plastics levers not strong enough and the pump nozzle completely stuck.
