Everything worked out well: the trip to Mull, the excursions on site, the accommodation, etc.. We were only with 8 travelers, which was of course great for us and could always make requests, which our guide could also almost always fulfill. Trip date: July 2023 - JPJudy· April 24th, 2022Our tour guide, Liam, was a 'local' so we got the benefit of his pride in showcasing his 'hometown.' He was an excellent tour guide ensuring we saw everything, learned interesting factoids and history along the way and accommodated everyone's needs and wants - including unscheduled bathroom breaks! He kept us on a good schedule and ensured we understood both the schedule and itinerary. The van was comfortable for the many miles we traveled. The sites were extraordinary with the added bonus of being treated to extraordinary weather so that we felt we were touring in a series of fabulous postcards. The highlight of the trip for me was Staffa - so don't miss this side trip to see Fingal's Cave and the puffins! The downtime was appreciated so we could enjoy the towns and villages we visited. I would have rated the tour excellent because Liam did such a great job and made for an unforgettably wonderful experience. However, my experience as a guest at the Tobemorey Hotel was awful so I strongly suggest you avoid this hotel. I decided this terrible experience was not going to define or damper an otherwise fabulous tour. But, I feel compelled to call out this hotel which seemed to miss the concept of service. The Vista was highly rated by other guests. I highly recommend this tour. I highly recommend Liam - so any tour which he leads, you can be assured will be the best experience.Show moreTrip date: April 2022
