We were even able to experience some unexpected stops because of his expertise. He went above and beyond to show us around even with road and snow conditions being challenging. The 3 stars is due to the accommodation arrangements Rabbies organised. At Broadford there was only one place open to have dinner that required a long walk on a dark frozen pathway that was quite treacherous and scary. We chose to stay in our room and had tea and toast our first night, then Micheal took us to the co op the next evening to buy supplies for dinner. We were blessed with warm and sunny weather. When it did rain, it did not affect the tour or our plans. We saw a lot of Scotland in 4 days! We left with nothing but wonderful memories of our time there. Everyone was so friendly and gracious. Alan went out of his way to show us the hidden out of the way attractions which were less crowded. I’m so glad we had a small group tour (16 travelers) instead of going with a big coach bus!
