ABSOLUT AMAZING TOUR, especially our Tour-Guide Cara, almost not only best driver and organizer, but more a friend, small group-Tour with lovely Hotels/Resorts on top level, meet wonderful people,,., so best tour in Australia so far for me, and it was the 5th time I travel Australia because a part of family living here and I love Australia - so I am qualified to say that!
- by Kirsten Dockter-TohtzSome of the hotels could have been better for the price paid, also instead of spending a day traveling by road a flight could have been taken and then more activities enjoyed instead of just driving

The trip from Sydney to Cairns was a fantastic experience, visiting beautiful places along the East Coast. It included fun activities, cultural experiences, local insights, but also personal freedom with optional activities and free time. After this trip you take a bit of everything from the East Coast of Australia, the best memories and many friends. Lauren was an amazing CEO. She was very enthusiastic, made sure we had the best time and best experience at very place. Her engagement was above and beyond. She not only gave tips for things to do on the trip, but also general tips for Australia and also tips for people who only did part of the trip and then traveled on their own. You could really tell that she loves the job and loves to show and share the beautiful things in Australia with us.
- by Leila KrajnovicI couldn't have asked for a better tour guide than Georgia. She ensured all of us had a great time and did her best to answer all of our questions

Fabulous 15 day tour, from Adelaide to Darwin, great meals, great accommodation, and great Tour Guide and Driver
- by Robyn Robert YoungGood pace. A lot of history stories which I’m not really into. Food and accommodation good. Prefer more active (walking) opportunities

Everything was Excelent
- by Iveta BriedeNellie was an amazing tour guide and I had the best time ever! Great trip! The only thing I would Recommend is booking restaurants with more of a vegetarian variety but everything was great! My favourite part was swimming the Great Barrier Reef I was nervous but Nellie took me out and showed me and stayed with me until I was comfortable! Thank you for such a great experience!

We are on the 20 day New Zealand - Australia tour. We do not recommend this tour. This review is sadly because our bus driver, Glenn, said quite a few obviously racist things about Indigenous Australians on our bus ride to and from Uluru. We have been on several Globus tours over the years, and we are very disappointed that Globus employs a company and people with this kind of harmful and backward thinking. On our trip to Uluru on Nov. 15., Glenn told us that Indigenous people are thieves. He said the Indigenous people specifically are responsible for theft in Alice Springs and along the highways. While passing Mount Ebenezer he told us that the Indigenous people are “true communists” and did a bad job running the gas station in the area, which caused the rest stop to close. Glenn then said that someone else tried to open the station again, but the Indigenous people “showed up with spears” and caused the new owner to close the gas station. He actually said, “showed up with spears.” Perhaps Glenn thinks that because it was a bus full of white people he could get away with being overtly racist. But no we are not ok with it. Racism is wrong. On this Globus trip in Australia we’ve had no access to an Indigenous Australian guide to give us a balanced viewpoint. Instead, we were given racist views about a group of people who were not there to defend themselves and add important context. I wrongly presumed we would be given some kind of properly assembled educational information about Indigenous Australian groups directly from Indigenous people, like we received in New Zealand. The “educational” video we watched on the bus to Uluru romanticized the colonization of Australia, depicting the English colonists as heroes and hard workers who earned their right to be here and makes no mention of how these colonists displaced the Indigenous people and basically stripped them of their land and culture. I had to google everything to learn more. This is literal whitewashing of history and distorts the reality of what happened. We are shocked at how blatantly outdated this driver and company are in the changing world.
- by Affordable AbodeGets to the main places but not the best planned tour. Very compressed timelines for the trip, leave you feeling rushed through many destinations. Sometimes not even enough time to eat, or no place. No suggestions or prep from guide. And yet, there's a lot of time on the bus and/or the plane - 5 hour layover for a plane to get to the hotel at midnight. Often felt disorganized - I get everything had just reopened but seems the hotels were often unprepared for us coming, excursions that people had booked for months suddenly unavailable or not booked by company. Couldn't they call in advance, for example, to make sure there's enough food at a hotel dinner??? Tour guide wasn't great

I recently finished the 28 day East Coast Oz Adventure with Intro Travel, it was an incredible experience! The tour is very full on, but there's also plenty of free time which you can use to relax or explore. There's so many cool activities included such as surfing in Byron Bay, 3 days exploring K'Gari and a sailing tour of the Whitsundays. There's also a bunch of amazing optional activities to book, such as skydiving, scenic flights and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, these activities are very easy to book through your group leader. Speaking of group leaders, I would like to give a huge shout-out to our group leader Craig, who really looked after us and took care of all the stress of transport/booking activities/dinner/onward travel plans etc, allowing us all to just fully enjoy Australia without any worries at all! Even though I've done group tours before, it is still daunting going solo. However, over the 28 days, you make such amazing friendships and it feels like you've known your group all your life! I really, really recommend the tour.
- by Becky PimlottThis tour included all the main attractions that backpackers would want to experience when on the east coast! From surfing to skydiving, australia zoo to the whitsundays. It was fast paced and exciting, always on the move. Good lively accommodation.

It was a great trip, with a great guide (Tom).
- by Christian HapkeI was on a 10 day trip from Perth to Adelaide. You get to see beautiful white-sanded beaches, amazing landscape and coastline and a lot of wildlife. The activities were also great, everyone loved the surfing lesson and the sandboarding, I also enjoyed the Aboriginal cultural walk with lonely Mrs. E. Richardson. And of course the day trip to Louth island (don’t want to spoil too much- but it’s quiet close to heaven on earth…). The swag camping wasn’t that bad, it was actually fun! You got to know that it’s gonna be some long bus drives, but hey- you’re crossing the Nullarbor!!! And the very best thing about the trip: meeting cool new people and of course our guides: Gary & Hannah. Gary did a great job in driving us and entertaining us. And hannah was the best Tour guide ever: always friendly and funny, she’s got perfect management skills and she’s a great cook. I haven’t eaten that good for a long time (loved the quinoa bowls🤤)! Highly recommended

The best experience of my life. This was my first tour I had ever done and it certainly will not be my last with the ultimate company. I had Sam P as my tour leader, he made the whole experience so easy and I felt relaxed the whole time. Not only did he excel at the expectations of his job but he also became a friend during this time. He looked after all of us from the moment we met until when we said our goodbyes. He made this tour group into a family and created memories for all of us that I’m sure we will carry with us forever. Of course there were some incidents, that were no fault of Sam’s including delayed grey hounds. One in particular causing people who were participating in the scenic flight Overall, the tour was a success in every
Tour guide was great the whole trip really put a lot of effort in to make sure everything was sorted and everyone was having a great time throughout the trip. I think the itinerary could do with a few more free days earlier on in the trip and would’ve liked to swap 2/4 days in cairns to stop off at noosa. Overall I loved the tour and would 100% recommended it to any traveller. As it was my first time on a tour like this I really appreciate that sam (tour guide) made me feel safe and secure the whole trip allowing me to relax and enjoy the whole experience.

Good overall. A little confusion a few times about pick up and drop off locations. But all resolved.
- by Terry GeeTours when we went on them were good but we found it difficult while travelling to confirm or contact operators 24 hours beforehand. Were given times to meet on booking but these were often changed on day to over an hour later. Rushing to meet up and waiting an hour when you could have had an extra hours rest all add up and detract from experience.

So glad i visited KI! Been meaning to do this since the bushfires devasted the Island; great to see nature repairing itself. The coast was fantastic, especially the amazing rock formations. Jess from Intrepid was terrific, lots of knowledge to share and looked after us all so well.

Tour leader Geoff was excellent, saw to our every need
- by Terri ScottAlthough it might be a crazy decision to go to the desert in summer (Feb is tooooo hot), I still think overall the tour was great - beautiful scenery, captivating aboriginal culture, knowledgeable guide (thanks Michy, he did driving, cooking, leading the hikings, and looking after everyone). As a Chinese, the food was not that tasty to me but ok enough. The hikings were a bit challenging but my daughter said she enjoyed them. The only thing I disliked was having to get up at 4:00am in the morning, but understood that's to see sunrise and do the hiking as early as possibly.
