Very fast paced, too many long rides on coach but overall , the guides were mostly good

Overall trip is good, except in Turkmenistan.

I recently booked a 10-day cultural tour across Uzbekistan with Nuratau Travel (Responsible Travel), and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making each city's history come alive. The hotel selections were top-notch, all centrally located and close to major sites. Our driver was a true professional, always helpful and ensuring we traveled safely. Communication with the company was a breeze; they were incredibly responsive and fulfilled all their promises. Overall, I had an incredible time and wholeheartedly recommend Nuratau Travel to everyone. If you're considering a trip to Uzbekistan, look no further!

Well organised- all guides and drivers turned up on time as in the schedule. The guides were well informed and gave a necessary insight into the background of what we were seeing. We did feel that the ‘time to explore’ on our own was too much for us but maybe other people might like that.We especially enjoyed talking with our Khiva guide but we didn’t catch her name unfortunately, but they were all good.

Just great experience overall.

Excellent itinerary and guide, Marlis. Pace of travel, accommodation and included meals all very good. Marlis, our guide, was also very good at providing the perfect blend of modern & past history of the country, culture & sights.

It was great. The two guides (do not remember their names) in Buhara and Tashkent are the best. The conditions at the desert site are not very good. You may want skip it.

I was incredibly impressed with how organized this tour was. I felt taken care of in every detail from beginning to end! I felt Bek was looking after me the whole time, the local guides were great and passed information between them seemlessly, hotels were great. Thank you!

I loved it :) very well planned and executed. I could just follow the lead of the driver and guides. Most guides were very well prepared and adjusted well to changes. The driver was very kind and considerate. There were some minor problems with the hot water at my last hotel but the staff fixed it quite quickly.

generally ok but some specific issues that I shall comment later.

Personal guide and driver were excellent. The Orion hotel was excellent, the hotel in Karakol was best available and certainly satisfactory. The Four Seasons hotel in Cholpan Ata was a serious problem. I gave our key to our guide to check out and did not realize that there was a charge for making tea in the morning and I should have checked out myself and paid the charges. The phone in the room would not work, I went to reception and asked them to send a repairman, he came but could not fix the phone. Internet access was only provided after we requested it. I asked the receptionist how our evening meal was to be paid for she had no knowledge so I paid for it.

I absolutely loved this tour, and I highly recommend it. This was so well organized, and the local tour guides we had were like rock stars. They were the best. We were fortunate to have chosen East Site. We saw a couple other tour companies, and we were so glad we weren't part of what those other companies were doing. East Site is definitely the best at the 5 Stans.

This is a very well run tour carried out by a small group of people actually from Central Asia. It is all inclusive except for tips for the driver and guides and the difficult to obtain visa from Turkmenistan is included. Accommodations and meals are excellent. I would hardly recommend this tour. But the operator know what you think

I’m a world traveler myself. Been to 175 countries so far. Had tours with many companies. This was the worst tour I’ve ever had. Tour leader is a director of Penguin Travel company. He had no experience at all as a tour leader! More like an actor. He smoked anytime anywhere among us. He discriminated throughout the tour. He had party till 6am and got drunk, caused all 5 trucks waiting for him to board. One of tour member went to his tent woke him up 15 minutes from our departure time. After I reported him to Penguin Travel, He even threatened me! Tour Radar customer service promised me to investigate, I never got any answer from it.

A great mix of Silk Road splendours with rural retreat. Our guide Jamshed was superb and greatly facilitated our group’s interaction with the people, places and cultures we encountered. Samarkand was a dream come true and Bukhara a surprise highlight. Our group strongly recommend the hammam visit as a great bonding experience and u can’t go past a bottle of Shtoff vodka for the price of a beer!

Great trip! Saw great sights, stayed in very nice hotels (in general), and had great guides. My only negative comment is that there were a couple of days where they try to fit too much into the itinerary, so that we didn't eat dinner until very late (9:30 pm one night).

The tour of a lifetime. So worth it I can’t even explain. I’ve been a lot of places, but this was a whole experience.
