It was an excellent experience for both of us, me and my wife. Riding camel in Sahara desert over the sand dunes, observing Sunset and staying in camps which are fabulously equipped for comfort and testing excellent local food, enjoying music under stars and finally a beautiful sunrise on the horizon. It was unforgettable one time experience .

We were to visit Egypt in March 2024 but unexpected medical emergency severely restricted my mobility which is to take 3 to 6 months to recover. Despite the cancellation conditions TourRadar readily agreed to refund my deposit. A very generous action. Communication with them was excellent and the deposit was returned to my account in days following my original message. A very honourable and reliable company which I would recommend. Sorry we missed our trip.
- by Peter BriggsWe just came back from our trip to Egypt. It was a great tourist experience! Guides - their explanations were greatly in place and some facts were impressive! Drivers - very expert in driving with safety and stability. All the road factors were taken into account by the drivers. They made our trip easy and less stressful. Thoroughly recommended!

Tony and Anas the two main individuals I interacted with were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The one knock I have is that during the time in hurghada there seemed to be a lack of communication between the representative there and the people who would be picking us up and where we were supposed to meet. My suggestion are it might be better to book these specific experiences through the hotel as I feel it is better than going through an essential 3rd party. Both the snorkeling and safari were definitely worth it.

Whatever you think you know and expect Egypt to be, prepare to be absolutely amazed and overwhelmed. Every day of the trip was a new discovery that was more impressive than the day before (and the pyramids were on day 1!). It was hot ( beginning of October), busy and exhausting at times but it was absolutely worth it! Accommodations were nice ( some issues with AC in the hotel) and boat trip up the Nile was very enjoyable. We took couple of optional trips, one to Alexandria which was just ok, and another to Abu Simbel, which was amazing and is highly recommended. Luxor museum is definitely worth visiting although it was not part of the tour. Another ‘extra’ site we visited was tomb of Seti I in the valley of the kings. We had to pay for separate ticket but absolutely worth it, if you get a chance do not miss it! We would absolutely recommend Vacations to Go Tavel. Tour was well organized and Michael (tour organizer), Maged and Ibrahim (Egyptologist guides) were all very professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. From the first day greeting at the airport, throughout the site visits and to the last day they were available to give us guidance and information and answer millions of questions on everything: logistics, culture, history, and modern life of Egypt. Couple of tips on what to look out for: 1. Everyone is trying to sell you stuff!! There are people selling cheap stuff at the sites everywhere and it can become exhausting to try to avoid them. In addition, we visited “artisan workshops” as part of tour where we were given some demonstrations and afterwords offered to buy locally made “authentic” stuff. You do not have to buy anything if you do not want to! 2. Tips are expected everywhere by everyone so be prepared for that and have cash at hand. Overall it was an amazing experience and we would love to plan some other tours with Vacations to Go Travel.
- by Khatuna GagnidzeWe had an incredible experience on this tour! Our guide, Younes, was amazing—always available, knowledgeable, and ready to answer all our questions about Morocco’s rich history. Our driver, Ahmed, was equally fantastic; we always felt safe and comfortable with him behind the wheel. The itinerary was well-organized, with plenty of free time to explore cities at our own pace. Highlights included the magical camel ride in the Merzouga desert at sunset, staying overnight under the stars, and waking up early for the breathtaking sunrise. Chefchaouen was another favorite—such a beautiful, unique city, and the Riad we stayed in was wonderful. Accommodations throughout were clean and comfortable, with good breakfasts. The AC van made city-to-city transfers smooth, with regular rest stops, which we appreciated. We truly had the best time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco. We definitely gained a deeper understanding of Moroccan culture, something we wouldn’t have experienced without an organized adventure. Note: The tour doesn’t visit Marrakech, so I suggest adding a day or two there to explore its vibrant souks, gardens, and amazing cuisine.

We had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this Tour and our tour guide Ahmed saladino . We met great people and We had a great time. Everything was planned perfectly and explained well every day which was very helpful so we didn’t miss anything . I would strongly recommend this tour and specifically this tour guide. He knows the people here, He knows the customs. This review only allows five Stars but I would give him a 10. Thanks to him i had an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.
- by Scott HildebrandtLet's start with the positive! The organization was great! From start to finish...top-notch care! Only downside: money! A big issue in Egypt... They didn't specify the amount of tips to be given per person (yes, the agency asks for an amount per person to distribute to the staff themselves, and it's not a small amount...). The same goes for temple tickets, etc., which are not specified either... And of course in Egypt you're accosted at every street corner to tip and sell you something 10 times its price... Fortunately, the temples etc. are there to show us off! I'm fascinated by ancient Egypt... but I'm not coming back... For me, it's a form of theft!

Was in the Egypt and the Contiki tour was scheduled to leave the next week. Wanted to see if there was any spots available but they would not look up to see if there was any seats available unless I paid in full. Stupidity I paid in full and then 2 days later they told me that the tour was full. I asked for a refund - they wanted to keep the money for another tour! The tour was over AUD $3000 and 1 month later, they still have not refunded the money. Contiki initially said 7-10 business days for a refund, then I had to chase them again, and then it was 21 days and the next email was 21 business days and now more than 1 month later, still no refund.
- by PatriciaAmazing experience. The best tour I have ever traveled on. My only strong recommendation is to include all the cost of extras into the main price as everyone seemed to take part in all the extras and it resulted in spending $400 extra when I arrived as I didn't want to miss out if everyone was taking part.

We recently returned from an incredible 8-day Hathor tour in Eygpt, and we are still (wife and me) reeling from the wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well cared for. The Egyptians are warm and welcoming, making us feel at home in this ancient land. What made this adventure a 5-star for us, was our main guide Ahmed, Ahmed was exceptional, patient, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. His passion for Egyptian history and culture shone through in every explanation, making each site visit a fascinating journey through time. Of course, there was an amazing team behind the scenes coordinating our transportation, hotels, etc. We cannot say enough about TourRadar and Holiday in Egypt Tours, an amazing leadership team, and support every step of the way, we felt like VIP guests, plus the communication was exceptional. Highlights for us 5/5 1) Breathtaking Giza Pyramid 2) The stunning Dendera Temple of Hathor 3) Epic Abu Simbel Temple 4) Awe -inspiring Valley of the Kings 5) Nile Cruise - Relaxing, scenic and delicious food 6) 5-Star Hotel in Luxor - Steigenberger - Great food, on the Nile River, world-class team. If you are considering an Egyptian adventure, look no further than this tour with TourRader and Holiday in Egypt. We spent many weeks evaluating different tour groups, and can say with confidence, that we chose the best!
- by Joe De SousaOverall, we had a fantastic experience. The tour itself was an unbelievable value for the money. I felt very safe in Egypt at all times. Although the sales people in the shops and near some of the sites can be very assertive, I didn't ever feel like I was in danger at any point. Everyone I ever interacted with who worked for or contracted with Holiday in Egypt was kind and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Taher was great with coordinating the logistics and explaining what to expect. Our Cairo tour guide Mohamed was funny and knowledgeable. Our Nile Cruise tour guide, Ahmed, was flexible and great at managing a lot of different personalities. He was also very passionate about tellings the stories of the gods and pharaohs. There are a few things you should be prepared for when you go on this tour. First, it's an AGGRESSIVE itinerary. That's a good thing. You will see and do a lot. You will need time to unpack and process it all when you get back home. It's good to understand ahead of time that you will be getting up at Egypt time 3 am, 4 am, 5 am, and it will be 90 or 100 degrees outside by the time you're finishing up. Managing expectations about how long you can reasonably spend at each site both because of the number of places to go and the exhaustion you may feel is important. It was healthy for me to remember that this was an introduction, making me want to go back for a deeper dive. It helped me avoid feeling guilty about sitting out an excursion to save mental and physical energy for an activity I had been waiting for my entire life. I suggest that the tour guides allow us to manage our own bodies and needs in this way without giving us a hard time, as it's not a reflection of our enjoyment of the trip. Second, before we left, I found it frustrating that so little information is provided as it made things chaotic at times. At the lowest point, because of a miscommunication, we didn't know where our passports were for 24 hours and this caused some unnecessary anxiety. I spoke with the tour guide about it and it was an unfortunate mistake and he apologized. Toward the end of the trip, however, I came to see this in a new light. It's not that they're keeping the information to themselves -- they're trying to maintain flexibility because the company they're doing something I've actually never seen before: individualize a group experience, to the extent that that's possible. In other words, you're paying for a standardized experience. A group tour has a set of things by default. What Holiday in Egypt is trying to do is learn how to make everyone happy by adjusting and customizing to fit interests, schedules, and needs. The deeper we got into the tour, the more I came to truly appreciate our tour guide Ahmed. He learned our habits and used them to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and safe. He also balanced everyone's needs and desires simultaneously to make everyone as happy, comfortable, and safe as possible, for example, people who wanted only to take a few pictures at a site versus those who wanted to spend an hour or more exploring. He was able to manage a couple of disruptive young girls in the group who were constantly giggling and talking over him even when others were struggling to hear. He did this by giving them a role while he was leading the group to keep them busy, and it worked. On the final day, I watched him arrange an impromptu late lunch for a hungry group while coordinating a car for a couple that needed to get to the bus station and asking the driver to stop by McDonald's so they could eat; ordering two different cars that arrived within minutes of each other to take two group members to the airport to two different flights; and dropping people off at the ferry on the way to bringing us back to the cruise boat, where he arranged with the crew for us to have a room for the afternoon to shower and change clothes before our evening flights. I really have to give props to Ahmed for all the hard work he put in, and he always did it with a smile. I would go on this vacation again in a heartbeat. I would like to take another of their tours someday if I ever go back to Egypt.

We were very disappointed in the recent (April 14, 2023) Avalon Taste of Egypt cruise. This was billed as a “ luxury” tour but the only “luxury” portion were the hotels in Cairo. The cruise portion of the trip was on the MS Farah. Be aware that this ship IS NOT an Avalon owned or Avalon managed ship. The ship had five decks but no elevator. Not a problem if you are on one of the lower floors but we were on the fourth. And, the lack of an elevator was never mentioned by Avalon or its travel agency, Avoya. The shipboard food was mediocre, the cabins were average, but the top outdoor deck was great - but was only used for one evening meal. But, our biggest complaint was the manner in which our travel within Egypt was mis-handled. On the third day of the trip, it was indicated that there would be a one-hour morning flight from Cairo to Luxor. That meant returning from our second day’s tour in Cairo to our hotel at 6:30 pm and then having to leave for the airport at 2:00 am! Why, because the tickets for our 28 person group had not been obtained in advance and we spent four hours waiting in line in the overly crowded Cairo airport. And, when we later returned from Aswan to Cairo, the tickets for our flight were again not booked in advance and half of our group had to take a late flight that eventually got us to our hotel at 2:15 am. This trip was meant to be a vacation, not an ordeal. Our guide was OK, but the size of our group was way too large for one person to manage and the crowds made it hard to hear him or follow him. If you go, be prepared - Egypt is a very poor country and it is dirty, hot, and overcrowded. The pyramids, tombs, tourist sites and temples are things to behold, but the cities, towns and villages are depressing. And, if you have any physical limitations, the amount of walking, sometimes crawling, and climbing should be factored into your decision.

Your brochure indicated the age of 0 to 99. I am well within that range. We did a lot of walking and I understand that the tourist need to see the various market and soups, but most of it was very similar to the previous town experience good except man is often the same. The hotels were very nice and our guide was excellent. I would recommend this tour to anybody. It was a very enjoyable tour unfortunately, the prices for the restaurants was quite higher than the Your company put in for the last two days. I understand when it gets hot in Morocco. You probably don’t have as many in the winter time. That’s why I feel the prices for the meals on the road were excessive. I paid approximately half at this luxury hotel then I did in route to the destinations. Again, I would definitely recommend this tour, but I think you should think about the quality of the food that we are served on the road, while traveling to the new destination
- by George RenfroeI had a wonderful time seeing round Morocco with this tour 💕 The hotels we stayed in were beautiful, the places we visited were interesting with so much history and the guides we met at each place were mostly excellent. I was expecting a guide with us for the whole trip not just at destinations. With such long drives between sites it would have been nice if the driver was able to tell us some history or facts etc. For the first couple of days of my tour I was the only passenger so I am glad I can speak French and was able to at least chat to the driver. Our driver was the kindest most considerate guy and we became good friends. But he had no guide knowledge and very minimal English which frustrated the other passengers that joined the tour later who kept asking me to translate for them and ask him questions but he didn’t know the answers. Luckily we had 2 Czech guys in our group who googled the whole way and told us some info during the long hours in the minibus. Would recommend this trip and it is a highlight of my travel experiences. I love Morocco and will definitely come again to see some other towns. It is the first time I have used a tour while travelling as I usually plan my own trips and travel solo but this was a very easy relaxing way to fit in so much in my limited time in Morocco. The camel ride to our camp in the Sahara for the night was the best stop. I loved the serenity of being surrounded by sand dunes at sunset and sunrise and sleeping so peacefully in a tent that night. Magical.

Everything went perfectly!
- by Grant MyersWe cancelled our tour with Exodus due to the war between Israel and Hamas. Exodus told us travel was safe to Egypt and refunded only 40% of the tour cost. While we agree travel to Egypt can be deemed safe TODAY the war continues with increased demonstrations within Egypt. There is every possibility tensions could escalate with little notice and the security situation deteriorate suddenly. This concern was demonstrated October 8 when an Egyptian police officer shot and killed 2 tourists and a guide in Alexandria. My wife and I, along with numerous friends we recruited, have taken 3 previous trips with Exodus. We will no longer recommend Exodus based on their response to our concerns.

The tour Barcelona, Madrid, Mysterious Morocco and Lisbon is a wonderful trip and a very good value for your money. Overall, the tour is well organized with great tour directors and guides, especially Raul in Morocco. We loved it and I highly recommend Europamundo. Even though the same group of people do not stay with you for the entire duration of the tour, it is an excellent opportunity to meet more people from around the world. We always had English speaking guides even when the English-speaking group was only 4 people.

The tour guides were all awesome, very professional
- by shawn whiteYou will be left speechless after this tour by Egypt Direct Tours! Bassam was my guide and he made the whole experience even more memorable. Basssm was so insightful with his extensive knowledge of the Pyramids, tombs, and hieroglyphics, also was photographer in Giza and got us to Memphis, Saqarra and the VIP access to recently opened tombs. Bassam even bought water for the workers around the Pyramid complex and food for the strays in Saqqara. Doing a private tour made the experience so much better because you move at your own pace. I even had time to stop and get coffee and some snacks. I highly recommend this company for anyone wishing to come to Egypt.
