What a fantastic trip. The agency did a fantastic job hooking us up with excellent guides in each location. Andrea, Lina and Guillermo all made the trip special and added something unique and memorable to each location. Like with many trips, the guides made the trip, and even when we had long travel days (and, to be clear, there were a couple - this is a busy trip) they were informative, funny, and helped us get to know Colombia so much better. We traveled with two kids (14 and 10) and their 70+ grandma, and everyone had a great time. The activities were a good combination of active, cultural, and artistic. We added on a couple days at Isla Mucura, which I'd highly recommend (Cartagena was so extremely hot we needed beach time afterwards). Would highly recommend!

It was such a well organized tour! Everything worked out great - drivers and guides were always there and they did everything they could to accomodate my crazy schedule. THIS IS NOT A GROUP TOUR! If you want to join other people, this is not the tour for you. This is a company that will make sure you get the see beautiful places in Colombia in a comfortable and private way. I felt cared by all the guides and a great time. Highly recommend it!
- by Jessica PelegioOverall my tour is good. Local guides and drivers from Bogota and Pereira are super nice. Itinerary of Cartagena was not well organized it’s a bit rush. The Rosario Island’s trip was well organized. There’s a few incidences with missed communication from the office with local guide otherwise it’ll be perfect.

This was an amazing itinerary! I was a single female traveler and felt safe at all times. I had the best group guide Martin, who was super friendly, knowledgeable & went above and beyond to show us a great time. I have a lot of dietary restrictions & Martin really tried his best to accommodate me, I am so grateful. Unfortunately I had an emergency & had to leave on day 4 so my trip was disrupted. I would love to return to Columbia in the future. This was an action packed itinerary. I highly recommend this tour & tour guide Martin to anyone who is active & loves to explore.

Colombia is an amazing country and we booked this tour over the holidays last minute and tour radar did a great job getting us booked and guided! All our guides and drivers were great and only had one issue with a hotel because everything in the town was overbooked for New Years. Tour Radar stepped up and made it right for us. Great job team TourRadar !
- by Russell BaerA very joyful Colombia trip with family. Our tour guide was very experienced, patient knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. I would highly recommend this tour to my colleagues or anyone else. In addition, the drives were very helpful and on-time.

Perfect 11 Days Trip in Colombia, My partner and I spent almost 2 weeks in Colombia. We visited Bogota and surroundings then travelled to the coffee land area where we spent few days exploring cocora valley and coffee farms. We then visited Medellin city and Guatape town , finally relaxed on the beaches of Cartagena before heading to Tayrona Park and end up the trip in Santa Marta. Overall ,excellent service and knowledgeable team. I felt like we were getting a premium, personal service throughout. I would recommend them.
- by Lachlan TaylorAmazing customer service Alex was brilliant, listened to what I wanted and came back to me when he said he would with a very slight compromise for the better and an amazing deal. I got a great tour for my special Birthday in Colombia. Fabulous service and easy booking process. 100% recommend him and Guide Ecuador!

Great itinerary, well planned. We saw a lot and we loved it. Very nice 4 stars hotels which are close enough but not exactly in the downtown of each city. If you prefer the hotels to be in downtown, you can ask the agency to do so, but be wary that it will be very noisy in downtown. Private tours every day were organized and transportation drivers and guides were very friendly and helpful. Internal flight tickets were included and transfers to and from the airports were covered. All in all, we loved it! P.s. Although the tour is open for public and you might be part of a group, but most likely you will be by yourself / no one else in the group. Being part of a group can be fun but can also be daunting. Being by yourself makes the trip more customized to your needs and preferences, and much faster. I definitely recommend this tour. Worth it!
- by Tariq Mahfouz Suleiman AqelMy customers had such a wonderful experience on their trip around Colombia. They were able to know about history, architecture, traditional food, nature and so much more. They had local experiences and they enjoyed both of the cities and the natural destinations like beautiful beaches as well. From beginning to end they felt safe and comfortable and all the staff made sure they had a smooth experience moving from one city to the other. They were happy and grateful for their trip. Thank you!

This was an amazing and memorable experience! Can't wait to come back to Colombia
- by Paul HaneyThe G Adventures/National Geographic Colombia Journey was all that I expected and more. It's a great mix of urban and rural touring, with a wide variety of activities. We saw a number of different areas of the country, meeting with local people to get a better understanding of the country. Our main Guide was enthusiastic and supportive.

Don’t book it. You are far better off doing the bookings on Expedia or with any other travel agency. Lead Adventures was the worst experience ever. They have the worst Hotel selection. On arrival they booked us in an unsafe area (their own driver told us it was unsafe), we ended up having to find another hotel and pay for the room. They didn’t want to give us a full refund, so we had to contact tour radar to let them know what happened. I spent $4k on a trip and ended up being stressed, having to take time out of my vacation to talk to different representatives. I also had to follow-up on my drivers and the pick up times. To top it off the itinerary they provided is incorrect. Worst experience ever. Save yourself the headache.

I recently took trip to Cartagena, Colombia with World Awaits Tours. I recommend booking with Bernell. She was very helpful with and well informed about how to survive the tourist industry and how to navigate the city. World Awaits Tours customized my experience to fit my interest. I went on a wonderful tour of the mangroves with local fishermen, spent time on a beach where the locals go (away from the tourist crowed beaches), and took a tour of the city guided by a local historian who gave me her perspective in addition to facts. I enjoyed learning about the culture of the city from the people who live there. I was offered a view of life in Cartagena from their perspective and gained an understanding of how the city has developed from a historical context. During my two week stay, Bernell’s knowledge of the best grocery stores and dry cleaning services was a godsend and helped make my extended stay enjoyable. I am especially grateful that she knew of a doctor that made house calls to my Airbnb when I unfortunately ate something that did not agree with my stomach during my first week. I give the service a 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to book more tours.
- by Channing MossI very much enjoyed my time in Cartagena, Columbia, South America in 2022. I was told that the month of December afforded us mildness in regard to the usual warmer temperatures of other months. My Accommodations were comfortable and safe, and we had a magnificent hostess. Bernell's planning was high quality and I did not have to do anything except arrive there. I even had money exchanged before leaving the USA. One less detail for her to have to take care of upon my arrival. We, Bernell and I, made new friends in Cartagena and we are excited to be working with the dance leaders we met to host a Dancing in the Street joint project in the future. More details to come. It is my sincere hope that you all will accept her next invitation to "meet her" in a foreign or unique location, or allow her to plan a travel excursion for your family so you too can experience "travel like a local" -- I guarantee you will be delighted that you did.
