The tour was amazing and has been been conducted in the professional manner. The full credit to our CEO Freddy who showed his exceptional organising and communicating skills at the highest level. Columbia has surprised me so many ways and I loved it so much. The only tidy complaint is the Wifi at Cartagena hotel for 4 star hotel on the big city...

An Unforgettable Adventure: Responsible Travel’s 10-Day Galápagos Tour If you’re looking for an immersive, ethical, and awe-inspiring way to experience the Galápagos Islands, Responsible Travel’s 10-day tour is an absolute dream come true. Even before we arrived our contact Jeferson Paucar, from Responsible Travel, was so helpful. Quickly answering questions and assisting with arrangements. Then from the moment we arrived, every aspect of the trip was carefully curated to showcase the islands’ breathtaking biodiversity while prioritizing responsible tourism and conservation. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Snorkeling with sea lions, marine iguanas, and sharks felt like stepping into a nature documentary, while guided hikes with experts brought us up close to giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, and lava lizards. Every guide was passionate and deeply knowledgeable, sharing insights about the fragile ecosystem and the importance of sustainable travel. Accommodations were comfortable, eco-friendly, and locally owned, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting island communities. The small group size made the experience feel intimate, fostering camaraderie among fellow travelers while minimizing our environmental impact. Perhaps the most rewarding part of the trip was knowing that our journey directly contributed to local conservation efforts. Responsible Travel partners with local organizations to ensure that tourism benefits the environment and the people who call the Galápagos home. By the end of the 10 days, I left not just with incredible memories and stunning photos but also a deep appreciation for this extraordinary archipelago and the importance of protecting it. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that’s as enriching as it is responsible, this tour is the way to go. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The Best of Colombia 11 Days is not to be missed. Couldn't have been happier with the destinations that are included, the hotels were excellent, and the food was outstanding. Special note that all our dietary restrictions were accommodated beyond our expectations. If you're lucky enough to get our tour guide, Nick, you will enjoy every minute. Thanks to Nick for showing us around this beautiful country and providing more Colombian history than can possibly be retained. Highly recommend.
- by Milenka CoteI am extremely disappointed with the tour operator GUIDEcuador Travel. They adverised that the tour starts and ends in Bogota, but it actually ends in Santa Marta, and you have to find your own way back to Bogota. I was misled into believing that the trip ends in Bogota and paid the tour in full. After you have made payment, they will send you their revise terms on what are excluded and if you are not careful. they will exclude some of the entrance fees to the attractions. They expect you to read the revised terms as they will issue a " tour voucher", whatever that means. For my case, after I protested, GUIDEcuador Travel, reinstated my admission fees but not the air ticket from Santa Marta to Bogota. You have to be careful with this deceptive travel agent. To be fair, the guides who showed us the beautiful country have very good and helpful.

I did the Cafe Colombia intrepid tour in November 2024. This was an excellent tour with the brilliant Santiago as our tour leader. The accommodation throughout was really good and the coaches and buses were comfortable. There were some great highlights. Staying at the coffee farm and taking the coffee tour was just an incredible experience. Colombia is a such a beautiful country and each stop on the tour was fascinating, enjoyable and really worthwhile. The pace of the tour was good and while there were a couple of early starts, we had plenty of time for relaxation too. We were lucky to have Santiago as our group leader. He is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a real understanding of everything. Nothing was too much trouble and he had some great suggestions for restaurants and salsa bars! When the internal airline cancelled one of our internal flights, he handled it really well and got us all on the next flight. I would highly recommend this tour.
- by Rehmet MohamedThis was an amazing itinerary! I was a single female traveler and felt safe at all times. I had the best group guide Martin, who was super friendly, knowledgeable & went above and beyond to show us a great time. I have a lot of dietary restrictions & Martin really tried his best to accommodate me, I am so grateful. Unfortunately I had an emergency & had to leave on day 4 so my trip was disrupted. I would love to return to Columbia in the future. This was an action packed itinerary. I highly recommend this tour & tour guide Martin to anyone who is active & loves to explore.

This was an amazing and memorable experience! Can't wait to come back to Colombia
- by Paul HaneyThe G Adventures/National Geographic Colombia Journey was all that I expected and more. It's a great mix of urban and rural touring, with a wide variety of activities. We saw a number of different areas of the country, meeting with local people to get a better understanding of the country. Our main Guide was enthusiastic and supportive.

Fantastic trip! Communication was excellent from start to finish with messages each day confirming timings, what was happening needed. Guides we had were informative and helpful. Itinerary was excellent giving us an insight to Colombia and all it has to offer!
- by Kate BensonWe thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Loved seeing 3 different cities of Colombia. All our guides were enthusiastic and enjoyed sharing their vast knowledge of their country. Airport and hotel pick up went seamlessly. Communication through “what’s app” went well. If we had a concern or query Gran Colombia got onto it. The Rosario island day trip had much waste of time and wasn’t really our vibe, but others may love it.

Excellent custom trip to Bogota, Cartagena, and Medellin organized for us
- by Niraj JainWhat a fantastic trip. The agency did a fantastic job hooking us up with excellent guides in each location. Andrea, Lina and Guillermo all made the trip special and added something unique and memorable to each location. Like with many trips, the guides made the trip, and even when we had long travel days (and, to be clear, there were a couple - this is a busy trip) they were informative, funny, and helped us get to know Colombia so much better. We traveled with two kids (14 and 10) and their 70+ grandma, and everyone had a great time. The activities were a good combination of active, cultural, and artistic. We added on a couple days at Isla Mucura, which I'd highly recommend (Cartagena was so extremely hot we needed beach time afterwards). Would highly recommend!

Colombia is an amazing country and we booked this tour over the holidays last minute and tour radar did a great job getting us booked and guided! All our guides and drivers were great and only had one issue with a hotel because everything in the town was overbooked for New Years. Tour Radar stepped up and made it right for us. Great job team TourRadar !
- by Russell BaerA very joyful Colombia trip with family. Our tour guide was very experienced, patient knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. I would highly recommend this tour to my colleagues or anyone else. In addition, the drives were very helpful and on-time.

Worst Communication Skills Will Never Suggest or book With Tour Radar
- by ShashiPatelThis is somewhere between 3 and 4 for me. The pros - the tour guide/s worked very hard and tried their best. The city tour was especially interesting and I loved the market tour and facts as we walked round. The Botero museum is an excellent substitute for the day the Gold Museum is closed. The hotel was good quality, well appointed and convenient. The room was huge with 2 double beds and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The guides at the airport were good and I was taken right to the check-in desk on way home which was helpful as a single traveller. Had a phone apology after the below which I really appreciated. The cons - I was given a Spanish tour guide. She worked so hard to share facts with me via Google Translate and conduct the tour but really, for the price, I would have expected them to have sorted an English speaking guide even if I had been paired with another party. A second guide who could speak English was provided for the second half of the day which was much better in terms of the experience but the tour is not cheap when considering what you'd pay directly in Colombia and one of the reasons I booked in advance was to have a clearer experience that I could follow and this was a weakness and took it down from a clear 4/4.5 to a 3.

I recently took trip to Cartagena, Colombia with World Awaits Tours. I recommend booking with Bernell. She was very helpful with and well informed about how to survive the tourist industry and how to navigate the city. World Awaits Tours customized my experience to fit my interest. I went on a wonderful tour of the mangroves with local fishermen, spent time on a beach where the locals go (away from the tourist crowed beaches), and took a tour of the city guided by a local historian who gave me her perspective in addition to facts. I enjoyed learning about the culture of the city from the people who live there. I was offered a view of life in Cartagena from their perspective and gained an understanding of how the city has developed from a historical context. During my two week stay, Bernell’s knowledge of the best grocery stores and dry cleaning services was a godsend and helped make my extended stay enjoyable. I am especially grateful that she knew of a doctor that made house calls to my Airbnb when I unfortunately ate something that did not agree with my stomach during my first week. I give the service a 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to book more tours.
- by Channing MossI very much enjoyed my time in Cartagena, Columbia, South America in 2022. I was told that the month of December afforded us mildness in regard to the usual warmer temperatures of other months. My Accommodations were comfortable and safe, and we had a magnificent hostess. Bernell's planning was high quality and I did not have to do anything except arrive there. I even had money exchanged before leaving the USA. One less detail for her to have to take care of upon my arrival. We, Bernell and I, made new friends in Cartagena and we are excited to be working with the dance leaders we met to host a Dancing in the Street joint project in the future. More details to come. It is my sincere hope that you all will accept her next invitation to "meet her" in a foreign or unique location, or allow her to plan a travel excursion for your family so you too can experience "travel like a local" -- I guarantee you will be delighted that you did.
