Both my husband and I loved this bike tour! This was the first one we have done, and it exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Erwin was amazing, very knowledgeable & accommodating and did a tremendous job! The tour itself was absolutely incredible, with village after village of beautiful rolling landscape of the Provence region. The highlight of the trip was our bike to Gordes, with breathtaking views of the village! The only recommendation I have is unless you’re an avid biker, I highly recommend an e-bike option! I am a fairly fit individual, but having the e-bike was a huge help and absolutely made the trip much more enjoyable.
- by Alison FowlerA fine tour, here are some improvements: 1) ensure tourists are met at the airport. There was a problem with this, although I was reimbursed for cab fare. 2) Use more buses for transportation. Extensive use of public transportation (trams & trains), increases travel time and restricts free time to arrival/departure schedules.

The trip was well coordinated. Kudos to the guide (Ivan). He made our trip memorable. Thanks
- by JOHNPAUL MWAKILASAIf you want to see as many places/things as possible in 10 days this is a good deal. Good guides and hotels. However the trip was very intense. Long bus rides, extremely short ventures and almost exclusively all free destinations that anyone has access to. Each day I would come back to my room exhausted ready to blackout only to start back up at 6 am the next day! So choose wisely if you are up to this kind of vacation.

My partner and I had always dreamed of visiting Paris, and this tour made it a reality! The blend of guided tours and free time was perfect for us. Our guide in Versailles was exceptionally knowledgeable, and the beauty of the palace was simply breathtaking. The hotel was charming, and we loved that it was so centrally located
- by Ruby W.This was my second time with Eskapas, and while I enjoyed the tour, there were a few areas that could be improved. The guided tours were fantastic, and Versailles was a highlight, but I found the hotel a bit lacking in amenities. The location was central, which was convenient, but the rooms were on the smaller side. Also, I would have preferred more group activities to get to know other travelers better. Overall, still a wonderful way to see Paris!

It was booked as a 7 day tour and we saw the tour guide for 3 of those days.
- by Lana PuschThe trip was interesting in general, except of 2 days: 1. in Madrid we were driven a lot through tunnels under the city and practically didn‘t see Madrid; 2. the stop in Bilbao and a fisher village was a boring waste of time. In general is the trip too expensive as we had only 3 guided excursions during 13 days and also these 3 were mostly only observativ. The Hotels were situated almost always outside of city centers, so it was inconvenient to observe the cities on our own. The Hotels were in general not bad (except of one). I booked this trip because of English as a declared language on the title page of the trip. Alas, I misunderstood that the guides would be bilingual, which was mentioned in the description of the trip. I understood this as lokal (Spanish), English speaking guides and not that the whole trip will be held bilingual. I happened to be the only one English speaking person in the entire group of Spanish speaking tourists and felt awkward that the whole group was urged to listen to the translation of the whole information in English during the long trip. Our guide Riad mastered the translation very good, I had no lack of information. Still the situation was not very convenient for me and the rest of the group. The check in and out in hotels were quick and easy.

Our guide was amazing. The foods was very good. The views were spectacular The hike was more challenging than I expected but I was able to adjust. It would be nice if there were daily elevation gain and loss on the itinerary. Sleeping with a group of six or more strangers was a challenge. There were people in my room that were very ill. I started feeling ill my last day. I came home and was very sick for days after the trip.
- by AnnMaria RankisThis trip is a once in a lifetime trip, and I wanted to do it for a long time. It was above and beyond my expectations! Thank you again.

This tour with all its sights and activities was great! But it was truly our guide Bailey & our driver Tomasz that made it extraordinary!
- by Melissa HalpinI was a little nervous to travel to Europe alone, as a single woman. I had a friend recommend that I try a tour instead of a solo adventure. I'm so grateful I went this route instead and had Rianna as my tour guide. She made us all feel very comfortable, especially me since this was my first time traveling by myself. Our tour group did not disappoint and I got to meet so many amazing people from around the world. I would highly recommend Rianna as your tour guide. Before booking your tour, make sure she is the lead.

Greg and Jozsef were amazing. Greg was an excellent guide, very organized, knowledgeable and fun. Jozsef was a safe and dependable driver. Regarding the itinerary, I wish we were able to see some of the Christmas markets at night. You don’t get the full experience when you only see them by day and miss out on all the lights at night. I wish we would have had more time to spend in Colmar and Strasbourg instead of being rushed to get back for dinner or either stayed somewhere closer to the markets so there was an option to go back after dinner on our own. I have a huge complaint about the hotel Mövenpick we stayed at our last night in Zurich. I was really disappointed Insight would choose a hotel of that caliber for us to stay in. It was very old and outdated. It was not the standard of hotel I would expect to stay in for the amount of money we paid for this trip and certainly didn’t compare to the quality of hotels we stayed in early in the trip. I was so grossed out by it that I contemplated paying out of pocket to get a hotel room somewhere else for the night. The room was extremely hot, the bed was lumpy, the pillows were flat. The carpet was stained, wallpaper pilling off the walls.
- by Erica SellersThe places we went to were really lovely, did most of the extras and that was totally worth it. Colmar France and Munich Germany were my favourite places to visit.

First the positive. Olbia, Maddalena, and Bonifacio are beautiful. The waters are crystal clear. The sailing is amazing. The approach to Corsica is particularly stunning. The captain was extremely competent and we always felt safe. We only had 3 people plus the captain on the boat, which made the accommodations comfortable enough (8 people would have been way too many for me). On the not so positive side, the beaches were just ok and the snorkeling was unimpressive. We did not experience any walking trails nor much wild life. Breakfasts and lunches were all on the boat, as were 4 dinners. It was not our understanding that, literally, the captain’s only responsibility was to sail the boat. He didn’t help with paying for, preparing, or cleaning up after meals. With only the 3 passengers, this meant that on our vacation, we took care of him. We called him when lunch/dinner was ready and cleaned his dishes when we were all done. He didn’t seem particularly appreciative nor did he reciprocate in any way. He didn’t offer tips on walking trails or comment on wild life opportunities. He took the zodiac out once, on request. Basically, he dropped anchor and we were on our own. Overall, it was a beautiful trip but it didn’t totally live up to the expectations set by the itinerary.

Our 9 day London to Paris tour in August (August 14-August 22nd) was disappointing and uneventful with a significant departure disruption. Overall Collette Tours are very pricey. The Collette emergency team and their tour specialists are not very helpful in getting you results if you have a tour delay or disruption to file a claim for. They try to cover over their lack of efforts & results for, by offering you a very nominal amount in future tour vouchers. However, $200 doesn't go very far when most Collette European tours for two people cost well over $12,000.
- by Joseph SontowskiThe trip was amazing. Highly recommend the tour!
