Aegean Islands Tour Companies

The organisation of the whole tour was superb. The ‘team’ responded immediately to our questions and supplied information requested. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Unfortunately, the beauty of the Island’s didn’t marry up with the broken promises from the Tour Guide the Private Tour of Greece. All the ferries ran extremely late, not this company's fault; but they had ample opportunities to move us to different ferries that would have taken different routes to get us there earlier and these weren’t explored. Sitting in Ports for 1.5-2 hours meant we missed out on breakfast which had been prepaid. Most Ports are only 5 to 10 minutes away from the hotels even with traffic we could’ve left an hour before and still had plenty of time to board the Ferries instead of sitting in the hot sun, from Hotels that weren’t 4-star as we paid for the upgrade including broken aircon’s we coped it all. Saying that after complaining in my native tongue of Greek, I was able to sort out these issues but not with their help. We took a night tour to Delios which we paid extra for and were told would be a 5-hour excursion but only ran for 3 hours as it always does in the afternoon. Lies and misinformation to mismanagement to disrespecting me by not even getting my last name correct when responding to my messages. They tried to make good by booking us flights from Santorini back to Athens as the ferry had been delayed by 2 hours and wouldn’t get back until 8 pm when we had a 5.30 pm scheduled landing they made us pay for our luggage on top??? Look don’t get me wrong if it had been organised okay and we had spent less time on ferries and more time on the islands; It would’ve been a beautiful experience. Just need to be more upfront in the situation and pitfalls not as lackadaisical as they were. Buyer beware.

Every little detail was spot on! The pick-ups, tours and transfer arranged by Tour Radar were timely and allowed me to enjoy the trip.

We had an excellent experience with the team of people that helped us enjoyed our vacation in Greece, excellent service. Everything exceeded our expectations, it was 100% a positive experience. I am planning right now my next vacation to Spain with them. Thanks for everything.

Overall, Mrs Shimizu and I were very pleased with the experiences we had in Crete because of your arrangements. Also I want to thank you for accommodating me with rearranging shuttle service for me because of my delayed flight. There are three issues however that while not major would have made the activities schedule seamless. 1. It would have been nice to have a live personal contact or at least a phone call from a representative from TourRadar to ask if there were any last minute questions or concerns we may have had. 2. We should have had contact information in the event issues arose for all tour aoperators

Most of this trip worked well but it was difficult not to have contact numbers for the operators of each of the day tours. The transport for our final day, to a water park, did not come and Tour Rader has not replied to me about that. The trips to Spinalonga and Heraklion / Knossos were good with the same excellent guide. The trip to Chania was too long, we didn't get back to our hotel until after 9pm. The land-rover Safari was a most enjoyable day in the mountains with lots of interesting stops even though Zeus's Cave is closed. The all inclusive hotel was fit for purpose. Altogether a well priced trip.

Overall, organization of the trip was pretty good with great support from the team. The only improvement I suggest, is to be more careful about sending instructions for the next day tours and meeting points. If I did not read the whole trip itinerary, I would have missed a mistake in instructions sent to me one night. However, the response from the team was timely and everything went well. Also, it would be great if tour operators found a way to alert guests that a pick up was being delayed due to the unforeseen circumstances. It would eliminate all the guessing and concerns while waiting for a pick up.

Very well organized, very responsive to any questions, excellent communication, timely pickups. I had a issue with my room in Santorini, that was handled/resolved quickly and to my satisifaction. They even added something complimrntary in celebration of my birthday. I would recommend this Tour Company and would book again for future travel.

Worked well for us. Clear instructions Hotels were good especially Hotel Brazzero in Syros.

This is the first time we’ve booked a trip using a booking agency. Typically we do our own booking and itinerary but using TourRadar removed all of that time and effort. We had concerns regarding hotel quality and transfers to and from each venue but found the hotels were all very adequate and transfers were all on time and proved to be absolutely effortless and worry free. If we did have a problem, communication through the booking platform worked great and situations were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We even wanted to upgrade one of the hotels during our vacation with a special request for a magical sunset view on the island of Santorini which was met to the absolute highest degree. We thank TourRadar for making this an extremely enjoyable trip and will very likely use them for future vacations.

Best 11 days of my life ! Killer group and amazing guide, if you get Stasi consider yourselves super lucky because he’s incredible ! So knowledgeable and chill, never felt safer in a tour guide’s hands than in his. This tour has everything, beaches, history, culture, and of course partying !!! some of the late night/early morning combos will be a bit rough but 1000% worth it, book this tour !!

The tour was a nice pace, 2 days on each island. The optional extras were not anything too exciting, I only did 2, sailing in paros and winery in Santorini which is really enjoyed both and recommended. Found the hotels to be all good except Santorini, the hotel in Santorini was far from the main attractions and did not allow for easy access to the main cities and not worth it for the price of the tour. This tour allowed for a lot of free time to do what you wanted which was nice.

This trip was an incredible experience! I had an amazing group of people, and our guide Maria Christina made everything perfect! We saw so many places and had so many new experiences! I will absolutely take another Culture Trip and would recommend to anyone seeking to travel somewhere new and really experience the local culture!

Dream Trip! We loved everything about our Culture Trip Greek Island Odyssey adventure! Our guide, Sylvia, was the BEST! She was super organized, knew all the tips and tricks of our destinations so everything ran smoothly, plus was a ton of fun to be with. The itinerary was packed with a great balance of activities that enhanced our understanding of the islands we visited. There was something for everyone- beautiful hikes/sunsets/sailing, cooking class, museums and Archeological sites, great restaurants and free time to go our own way if we wanted. Loved the expertise and perspective the local guides provided in each location. Would definitely book a Culture Trip experience again! Thanks!!

The trip was good all round - especially our tour guide "Stelios". We were a great group and had a wonderful time together throughout. The only criticism was the accommodation - all the accommodation was very basic and the last one was borderline.

The entire trip went pretty smoothly and all transportation provided via ferry or driver was spot on.

We really loved this trip. Hotels are well-located, close to main attractions and beaches. Transfers were easy. Communication with company was awesome. Everything about the travel was handled with great care. We just missed one point about the rental car: We recommend you to upgrade automatic transmission. We also want to thank you our guide Maria in Athens. She was adorable.

All went well, pick up & drop off was good, operator was very responsive and helped us book an extra night, hotel was nice :)

Everything about our tour was planned perfectly. All staff we encountered were prompt, friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Everything was delightful - the tour greeters, the airport/hotel transports, and the Santorini accommodations at El Greco Resort. The resort was the highlight in its beauty, cleanliness, complimentary buffet, service staff, and location. Highly recommend.

Overall the trip was quite successful! The excursions and scheduled activities were all excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The island of Delos and the volcano/hot springs tours we especially wonderful, and our time spent on these activities was very well spent. The communication and planning of all these activities (itinerary, provided tickets and documents) was executed very well, and the team assisting with the trip was prompt and professional in their communication with us at all points of the trip. Our dedicated WhatsApp was such a valuable resource and we always felt like help was just a text away if there were any issues we knew our trip's team could help out with. However there was some issues surrounding transportation on and between the islands. The ferry services between the islands was unreliable and resulted in lost time or stress while traveling. Our ferry from Mykonos to Santorini was two hours late, and this resulted in losing much of the free time we had allocated for that day. Our ferry from Santorini to Athens arrived one hour late and almost caused us to miss our ticket window for our acropolis tour. Perhaps the only reason we made it was because of aggressively leaving the ship and being able-bodied enough to RUN uphill to the Parthenon. Overall, it should be assumed that these ferries will run late when scheduling future travel. Personally, we would have preferred the absolute earliest ferries off each island to ensure maximum time at the next destination, in exchange for more time to sleep in. The bus systems on both Mykonos and Santorini were very troublesome. There were no maps, time schedules were varied and often not timely, payment for bus rides was at the discretion of the driver or station, and overall felt very unorganized.This made it difficult to truly explore the islands because the method of doing so was stressful and difficult to navigate. The two of us have no issue walking most places, but given the hilly terrain and complete lack of sidewalks this did not feel like a valid option or at times felt dangerous. The hotel on Santorini was technically centrally located, but the lack of public transportation and terrain of the island more or less left us stranded. Our first night on Santorini was disappointing both because of our arrival time and location. Being centrally located on these islands is overall less of a benefit than being seaside and/or near known attractions (beaches being one of the main tourist attractions). We also wish we had one more day on Santorini for a wine tour because of the vibrant and unique wines on the island. More detail, advice, or factoring these into itineraries would have greatly improved our experience or this same trip for future customers.
