I believe the iterinary was very misleading as all it does is provides transportation and guide. The hotels provided to me were not 5 star as in Pokhara the staff confirmed it was 4 star. In kathmandu hotel was not centrally located and it was worse than a 3 star hotel. I would have been better off by doing the trip on my own However the guide Mr Raj was gentleman and he gave informative information about places visited
- by Sarojini Singhit was a great experience! our guide navaraj was very accommodating and patient, knowledgeable about a lot of things and was great company to be around! this tour package was well worth the money

The tour was accompanied by the organizer right from the start. I was able to ask questions via WhatsApp about all kinds of topics. Everything was discussed in person and on site, the route, the dates, the type of trip and the conditions. The connection via WhatsApp always worked well and quickly. Both the city guide and the trekking guide were very competent and reliable. The selected tour was beautiful and rich in experiences for the eyes, ears and feet. I felt well looked after and cared for along the way. It was a pleasure to travel with Nepal Trekking Routes Pvt ltd. Everyone involved was very reliable. I would gladly return.
- by Martina NeurathThe most magical experience - I cannot recommend this tour more!! My guide on the trek was incredible (recommend requesting Bishnu!) he was so helpful and attentive and also bought so much fun and positive energy to the trek - he even went out of his way to organise a home baked (or tea house baked) cake for me on my birthday as a surprise. The views were stunning and there is a lot of flexibility in the tour in terms of where you walk to each day. We would generally head off by 7.30/8am and reach the next camp by early afternoon. Bishnu then gave me the option to relax for the afternoon, or we would find an afternoon walk to see some of the surrounding sights and sounds. The tour operator was also super helpful - I had some “travel hiccups” en route to Kathmandu and he alleviated all my stress and was so accomodating. If you’re planning on doing any trek in Nepal, you NEED to book through this company!

I had such a lovely time doing the Annapurna Base Camp Yoga Trek! The organisation was from the beginning (being picked up from the airport) till the end (being dropped off at the airport) veeeery good. The trekking guide Ram (Kumar Simkhada) as well as the yoga teacher Anil (Gautam) were such lovely people, nice companions and professionals. They were always kind, courteous and I had lots of fun with them! They were always understanding and considering your needs, always helpful and nice. Also Bish, from Himalayan Recreation always answered my questions patiently and very quickly - thanks a lot! Thanks a lot for this whole experience, it was really unique and they even did it for me only (as the group could have been up to 10 people, but as it was February so not many people booked this trip - only me and one other). Can only recommend - 10/10 stars!! (To each and everyone of them) ⭐️ If you think about it, just do it!! :-)

This is the second time that I've opted to do a hike with this company. Administrative matters were sorted out seamlessly, and the team accommodated our requests. Our guide Buddha was very resourceful and patient. We managed to, in spite of monsoon rains, get a beautiful view of the mountain ranges at Ghorepani. Highly recommend.
- by Xin Lin ChengGhorepani Poon Hill Trek is a classic and rewarding trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal, known for its stunning views of the Himalayan peaks, charming villages, and lush rhododendron forests. This review will focus on the trekking experience with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking, along with their guide Nima Sherpa. My journey with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking for the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek began with excellent communication and organization from the team. They provided detailed information about the trek, itinerary, and what to expect, ensuring that I was well-prepared for the adventure ahead. The team was accommodating and flexible in tailoring the trip to my preferences, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable from the start. Upon meeting Nima Sherpa, my experienced and friendly trekking guide, I knew I was in good hands for the trek. Nima's expertise, knowledge of the region, and passion for the mountains were evident from the beginning, and his warm and approachable nature made him a fantastic companion throughout the journey. Nima not only guided us safely along the trail but also shared insightful stories, cultural tidbits, and interesting facts about the local communities we encountered along the way. The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek itself was a magical experience filled with breathtaking scenery and memorable moments. The trail led us through picturesque villages, terraced fields, and dense forests of rhododendron, providing a diverse and ever-changing landscape to explore. Each day brought new adventures and challenges, with the highlight being the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, where we were treated to panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges bathed in golden light. The teahouses and lodges we stayed in during the trek were comfortable and cozy, offering a warm respite after long days of hiking. The local hospitality and delicious meals provided a taste of Nepalese culture and made us feel welcomed and at home in the mountains. One of the most memorable moments of the trek was interacting with the local Gurung and Magar communities along the way, learning about their traditions, lifestyle, and unique customs. Nima's translations and insights added depth to these cultural exchanges, allowing us to truly appreciate the rich heritage of the region. Overall, trekking the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking and guide Nima Sherpa was a truly unforgettable experience. The seamless organization, expert guidance, stunning scenery, and cultural immersion made this journey a highlight of my travels in Nepal. I would highly recommend this trek and the services of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching adventure in the Himalayas.

Apologize for the late review. Satisfied to the fullest!! I didn't expect anything since I was always worried that I could not make it. But everything was so great. Indra was a great tour guide I've ever met and Susam was my amazing savior for entire journey. Lost for words. They have the purest personality of Nepali. Helpful, polite and nice. Very patient with my pace. I have small steps since I'm so short. Compare to 'em- the local steps and have strong fit body, I always think I was their burden. But, they really can get along with my rhythm. The best thing is we never get wet! Thanks to my super sonic porter all my stuff are safe and thanks to my guide I haven't been trapped in the rain/coldness in the middle of the forest. They really know-how to manage the time to get safe and sound condition to the tea house. The sad part and still can't accept it is, I can eat together with 'em. I know that's the rule (maybe) but still, I imagined that it would be best if we had meal together and enjoy the meal & moment altogether. 🙂 All Nepalese people are very nice. The nature was incredible and beyond beautiful. The accomodations were nice, even the meals and drinks gave me some unique memories. Love it so f much! Thank you for everything! Raj - NG 🫶 Thanks alot, you bridge me well while I was afraid and confused. 🙏 Indra - Thanks a ton; I couldn't have finished this without you. 🙏 Susam - I can't thank you enough! Such a great person with an impressive fit body 🫶 Hope to meet you guys again anytime somewhere😊 Cheers! Terima kasih banyak! 🇲🇨🇳🇵
- by Arista WiladhatikaWe did the 7-day Ghorepani Poon Hill trek with Outfitter Nepal Treks and had the time of our lives! From the beginning to the end, the communication, organization and service was top level standard. We were lucky enough to have the most experienced guide and porter with us. Ravi, our guide, had 27 years of experience and could tell us everything about the trek, Nepali culture and history. He always organized the best rooms with the best views for us, was extremely attentive and customised the itinerary 100% to our wishes and fitness level. Bim, our porter, was super friendly, always greeted us with a big smile and helped us with everything we (didnt know) we needed. Overall, the level of service was much higher than we expected and than most other guides/porters provided. The trek itself was absolutely stunning, with unforgettable views of Annapurna and surrounding mountains. The Rhododendron forests in full blossom and the sunrise on Poon Hill were mesmerizing. We can fully recommend to book with Outfitter Nepal and ask for these 2 amazing guys to accompany you!

I trekked the Annapurna Circuit from September 24 to October 7th, 2024 with Nepal Hiking Team. Our guide Madan was exceptional in leading us and ensuring we were safe and healthy throughout the entire adventure. We were also grateful for our porter, Ram, who was very thoughtful and went above and beyond his role as a porter. We felt very cared for throughout the trip. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us, to be able to take in the exhilarating views of the Himalayas, and experience the variety of towns and cultures throughout the circuit. I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Tour. It was a once in a lifetime experience I will cherish for the rest of my life.
- by Jennifer NicolasWalking the Annapurna Circuit with the Nepal Hiking Team will go down as one of my best trips ever. Our guide Bhim was extremely informative, professional, had a great sense of humour and is a master cards player!! Our Porter Shankar carried our bags with a smile the whole way, he got involved with us way more then other porters I saw at the lodges, serving us tea and also playing cards with us. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone planning to trek in Nepal and will definitely be booking with these guys again on my next trip to Nepal. Namaste 🙏

This was my first solo trip and it was so amazing. The itinerary was well-prepared, that also allowed some flexibility and all the information that I received during planning (and during the trip) made me so comfortable and sure that I made the best decision choosing you. I truly recommend both the agency and my guide Purna Rai. I could have not wished for a better guide for Annapurna trekking as he was so kind, supportive, continuously checked my physical and mental condition (and replanned a bit if needed) to ensure the whole trip would be easy, fun and with full of positive memories.Needless to say that the view was breathtaking, food was pretty good, I enjoyed every moment of it. I’m so grateful, definitely a once in a lifetime experience. If I ever come back to Nepal I will choose you again!
- by Dora Dr TarcaliI discovered on this trek that enjoyment of the journey is largely tied to the guide leading the climb. Whereas on the previous trek, with the exception of a couple of dark rainy climbs mentioned in a previous review, my guide was frequently far out in front of me and would wait at a place where ther might be confusion as to which path to take, my guide on the Annapurna Trail Rudra Dhoj Waiba was with me every step of my slow journey. He did not act perturbed by my turtle rather than hare pace. He would grab me by the arm whenever I woukd begin to slip. And pick me up when I fell, including a four foot drop from a narrow path after the sun had set. Fotlrtunately, I fell into a bed of high grasses...no injury. He would encourage me, saying "Good Job". He said he was there to make my trek as enjoyable as possible. I had searched the internet and travel agencies here in Kathmandu for Annapurna Adventures. I found none that can compare to the value and personal attention you get from Himamayan

I'm so glad I chose Peregrine Treks and Tours for my first trekking trip and a trip to Nepal. From start to finish, we felt extremely well taken care of. The included airport transfers were convenient, and the debriefing dinner after the trek added a personal touch. The trek itself was excellent, and our guide Krishna was fantastic. He was kind, funny, and flexible, and he made excellent suggestions to change/personalize our trekking route based on the wants and needs of our group. This trek and this trekking company are both highly recommended. We will return to Nepal!

The Everest base camp trek was all worth it, and now my enthusiasm has grown, so I chose to take another trek around the Annapurna region- the Ghorepani poon hill trek. I must say I grabbed this package at a reasonable price with Mountain Rock Treks. This trek has been one of the best experiences we've had so far. Poon Hill, in particular, offered breathtaking views of the mountains. Poon Hill is an excellent vantage point to witness the majestic mountains up close.
- by Zaynah ReillyI needed more than the Everest base camp trek; I wanted to explore and see the mountains more, and this Annapurna Base camp trek was just the right trek I was looking for after my EBC trek and Heli return tour. An amazing experience! From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu after my EBC trek to Annapurna Base camp, everything was well organized, and our guide ensured everything was smooth, and we were doing ok. The scenery and views were amazing, and although challenging, it was also very enjoyable. MRT provided us with duffel bags, sleeping bags, and a down jacket to ensure we had everything we needed to make it comfortable and enjoyable. Already planning my next trip after this.

Communication was poor from day one. Missed the bus because we were told we would be connected at the hotel . Accommodations were poor, often without heat, sit down potties, nor internet.
- by JPKreutterOur experience was Amazing. We are two young Danish guys and everything was good for us. Especially our guide Arjun Khanal was excellent, he really lifted our trip. The rafting part was the only thing that dissapointed, but that was because it was off season. So to very content Danish Boys.
