Mount Annapurna Tour Companies

The conditions (roads) in Nepal are catastrophic which spoils the vacation experience. The tour guide was in my opinion incompetent, bad knowledge of human nature and not able to assess the routes correctly. The hotels during the trek were subterranean. The tour guide himself was very helpful.

I had a good time on this tour and my guide Dilaram did a great job showing me around the Nepali countryside at the foot of the Annapurna range and I learnt a lot about Nepali culture through him, though there was a bit of a language barrier at times. He is also a great photographer if you're looking to get nice pictures of yourself with the mountains. Although if you are looking to properly explore the mountains and nature, I'd recommend booking a different tour, as this was very much just a walk in the villages and always a stone's throw away from the city. I was slightly disappointed by that, but it was my fault I didn't read the description properly. If you're looking for a chill and easy walk in the fields and villages, this is the tour for you. To give you an idea, the first day was a steep ascent of 600 meters that took less than 2 hours, followed by a check-in to the guest house and a lunch break, followed by a 2-hour stroll in the village. The second day was a 6-hour walk to Saranghkot, followed by a check-in to another guest house, lunch break, and then about a 2-hour stroll around the village (but that's flexible depending on how much walking you're up for). The final day was just a 2-hour steep descent to the foot of the hill, followed by a visit to the local temple after which I was picked up and driven back to my hotel.

I found this trek to be challenging and most rewarding. This was my first solo trip and it was so amazing. The itinerary was well-prepared, that also allowed some flexibility and all the information that I received during planning (and during the trip) made me so comfortable and sure that I made the best decision choosing you. I believe the iterinary was very misleading as all it does is provides transportation and guide. The hotels provided to me were not 5 star as in Pokhara the staff confirmed it was 4 star. In kathmandu hotel was not centrally located and it was worse than a 3 star hotel. I would have been better off by doing the trip on my own However the guide Mr Raj was gentleman and he gave informative information about places visited

I trekked the Annapurna Circuit from September 24 to October 7th, 2024 with Nepal Hiking Team. Our guide Madan was exceptional in leading us and ensuring we were safe and healthy throughout the entire adventure. We were also grateful for our porter, Ram, who was very thoughtful and went above and beyond his role as a porter. We felt very cared for throughout the trip. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us, to be able to take in the exhilarating views of the Himalayas, and experience the variety of towns and cultures throughout the circuit. I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Tour. It was a once in a lifetime experience I will cherish for the rest of my life.

We have been trekking with Gyanu in April 2022 and we went poon hill trek combined with Annapurna BAse Camp. I have to say it was pretty impressive experience and Gyanu has been our trusted experience director. He knows his country, people, culture, heritage and has extensive experience with mountains but also with working with different sorts of people. Also the organization in general was quite good. As a matter of fact I would recommend going with him to anyone who asks. Even ordinary trek can be extraordinary if completed with correct people. Gyanu is definitely one of those people.

I did a 13 day trek round the Annapurna Circuit with Apex the Asia and can't speak highly enough about them. Ramesh dealt with the booking and was very professional, he tailored the trip around the dates I needed and I was able to hire some equipment from them to save buying it myself. I was lucky enough to have Gyanu as my guide and he is excellent, if you do any trek in Nepal you have to go with Gyanu! He has so much experience and knowledge about the area and during the trek I learnt so much from him about Nepal. His experience is shown by the amount of people we met on the trek who he knew, from other guides/porters to guesthouse owners, and it was obvious the amount of respect that everybody had for him. He was constantly looking out for me, making sure I was OK, and his level of care went way above what I expected. Above all he is the most friendly and warm person, it was a pleasure to spend 13 days in his company! Thanks Gyanu (and Ramesh), I will see you next time I am back in Nepal!

Our trek to the Annapurna Base Camp in early December 2024 was an unforgettable adventure, impeccably organized by Dil Gurung and his team. From the flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara and back to being picked up in Pokhara and meeting our guide and porter, renting sleeping bags and a duffle bag, every detail was handled flawlessly. Our knowledgeable guide, Iman Gurung, and our very strong porter, Laudi Gurung, were incredibly helpful and always there when we needed them. Especially on a day when we weren't feeling our best, they took great care of us. We thank Dil, Iman and Laudi for this amazing experience. If we come back to Nepal for another trip, we would be happy to do it with the same team!

Alpine Ramble was simply incredible from start to finish. My wife and I decided to do the Annapurna Circuit for our honeymoon. We found Alpine Ramble online and booked our trek directly with them. They customized our trek based on our schedule, took care of all tourist and trekking permits, car and plane bookings, etc. Once we arrived in Kathmandu, they picked us up and dropped us off to our hotel.
