Mount Kilimanjaro Tour Companies

Would never consider doing any mountain tour with anyone except G Adventures. I have also done other high elevation tours with G Adventures and they are my “go to” company for travel.

I got Covid from someone in the group. For a high altitude hike like this, we should have been tested for Covid. It not like I could avoid it, we ate together in an enclosed tent.

Guides were great. Very helpful and gave great pointers for hiking.

Exceeded all expectations!!! My friend and I booked without much prior research into the different routes of Kilimanjaro or what it entailed. We landed on our feet with World Adventure Tours (associated with Zara tours, both female owned companies). We did the 6-day Machame route, which was beautiful, and each day was a new captivating landscape. Our guides Living and TomTom were professional, inspiring, great company and FUN!! We grooved our way up that mountain (Living's afro-piano playlist is off the charts good!). It was clear they were well-respected with other guides/teams on the mountain and in Moshi. Our entire team of guides, porters, chef and waiter were OUTSTANDING (shout out to Joseph, who was a delight to see at the beginning and end of every hike) and we couldn't have asked for better company. Meeting other hikers along the route and hearing their experiences, we realised just how lucky we had been even from initially booking through to the end of the tour. Our tour contact Joyce was exceptionally clear and kept us well-informed throughout, making sure we were always on the same page about the plans. The hotel Springlands at the beginning and end of the tour blew us away, all the staff (shout out to Nur) and even the transfers in between all were well beyond what we had anticipated. Springlands celebrated my birthday with a delicious cake and all the staff came and sang which was a special gesture I will always remember ❤️ By pure chance, we ended up booking this tour and it feels like we were blessed 🙏 Don’t pass up this chance—you won’t regret it! SIX STARS!!! (PS - We met a couple who did safari with World Adventure Tours who also sang their praises).

Excellent organisation. Especially the flexibility after a delayed flight helped us a lot. Food was amazing and all the porters were really friendly. Lastly, our guides, Innocent and Immanuel, made sure we were safe at all times and we couldn’t have reached the summit without their help!

Excellent service from Omben and the crew. Omben was a fantastic guide who knows the mountain better than the back of his hand! He made sure I was prepared correctly for everyday which some guides do not do as I witnessed first hand someone suffer from severe altitude sickness from not wearing the correct clothing. This will be no issue with Omben, he is incredibly experienced and his English is brilliant.

I would like to recommend this tour to anyone who wish to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The guys are well organized. Ps check with them should you want to go to Tanzania:)

This is the best long distance trek experience I have ever had. Every aspect of the tour was so well organised, from the moment we started our trek to the day we summited and the day we came down. We were given the best attention by the guides and porters. The chef did an excellent job making sure we were well fed. Considering how tough the living conditions were, we were afforded so much luxuries which were only made possible due to the effort from the team. For those who are considering going up Kilimanjaro, cannot recommend enough this group enough!

Amazing touring experience, could not recommend more highly. Food was of restaurant quality - much better than you would expect on a mountain! The team gave us all the assistance we could ask for, and we managed to summit one day earlier than expected with their support. Our lead guides Emanuel and Man Man kept us going the whole way - thank you so much!!

I dont think there is question that he dont have a good answer. He makes our honeymoon the base holiday! He is loyal and make feeling a lot of confidence in country in afrika. It feels like im in germany with the conference! If you ask me? Only charles!

Getting to Kilimanjaro summit

The Machame Route was an incredible adventure! Each day had its own unique scenery, from the rainforest to the barren lava ridges. The climb up the Barranco Wall was exciting and a highlight of the trek. Summit night was the hardest part, but standing on Uhuru Peak and watching the sunrise made all the effort worthwhile. This route is a great balance of challenge and scenery for those looking for a true adventure.

We chose the 8 day Lemosho route and the trip was well planned and organised by KWESA. All of the staff from the porters to the waiters, chefs and guides were very helpful. I unfortunately became ill at base camp and had to return back down the mountain and the porters provided invaluable support in helping me down. Guide Kessy also accompanied me back down the mountain, keeping me in great spirits and making sure I reached the bottom safely. Kessy’s great personality and excellent English made him a great guide and companion to have on the mountain. My thanks to him and the team for an amazing adventure.

The Kilimanjaro tour for 5 days was an excellent experience in my life. The guide Eli and his team: Rama, Gregory, Calvin they were so nice and took care of me during the hiking. The food and service were good :) Thank you for all of you.

An intense trekking experience packed into 7 days. The trek was perfectly organized with Amos who took care of all the logistics, permits and transfers in Tanzania. Our guides Philip and Kileo were the best. They are highly experienced on guiding hikes on Kilimanjaro and knew that route very well. They were helpful and friendly all along and put our safety first. We traversed different habitat with each day bringing different views that were truly breathtaking. We had great support in terms of great equipment, amazing food and a very capable team of guides, porters and cook. Everything was handled with care and I cannot change anything about the trek.

The trek is absolutely unforgettable. Everything about it was just perfect, from the crew, food and the route was beautiful as we coursed through different habitats. Our Chief guide Yesse Lema created a family like environment where everyone in our group was welcomed into and cared for. The atmosphere was great as I interacted with climbers from other parts of the world making new friends. The course is beautiful as we passed through changing habitats learning a lot from the crew as they taught us about the mountain. We had many special moments including the summit night as we made the final push from Barafu Camp, where the crew helped us in so many ways to reach the summit. The weather was great all through and we totally loved the experience.

the tour was icredible of which it is unfortgetable , regardless of its challenges but it will be among the best memorable tours.

Top Kilimanjaro hiking Trip I have nothing but good things to say about our Kili climb tour. From the beginning, the owner of the company we chose (Serengeti African Tours) for our climb, Lucas, responded promptly to our emails and any questions (there were many). Our guide Gasto was just the best and was very supportive, I don't know if I would have made it to the summit without him by my side. The food was fantastic, all the other hikers were jealous of our meals. The whole team was just amazing. I don't often write reviews, if ever. But these guys deserve a shout out! Greetings

I had an excellent climb to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro - an achievement that has believe it or not been 30 years in the making. Wow, we crossed some amazing landscapes as we moved up through the five vegetation zones to the higher camps. I can't thank my team enough for the support, encouragement and kindness they showed me. There were eight in all including me. Our Chef Cyprian cooked up a storm. Am amazing man given the conditions under which he delivered nutritious tasty three course meals. Majaliwa who was tasked with looking afterme has an amazing attention to detail in setting up my accommodation quarters. At the end of a day's walk we were met by Hamisi my Summit Porter as we reached the camp sites. A very welcome face at the end of the day. He also accompanied me to the summit. At the end of the day Amini my Guide should take the fullcredit for his encouragement, determination and advice espically on summit day. We exchanged lots of interesting ideas and knowledge. A thousand thankyous. And to the three Porters who supported us all. At the end of the trip I felt like I was one of the team. All good memories for the future.
