Bavaria Tour Companies

Each of the tours was very well planned, with the schedules very well arranged. We were able to depart on time.

Overall it was a great tour and we got to see a lot of places and learn history of the areas visited. The transportation to the different locations was good and pretty much on time each day. Because there was a separate guide each day the total number of people each day varied and because of the number of people to was hard to hear the guides at times. I think the tour could have been broken up differently as there was a lot of walking involved. I think it would have been better to have the first 2 days broken up between the other days. So you would have a little more time to recover from the previous days tour. So maybe put them in days 3 and 5, because these days were only half day or less in length. As far as our hotel stay the hotel (Leonardo City Center) itself was really nice, but we were disappointed in the continental breakfast we had each day. The food was lukewarm to cold and the variety was a little weird. But the staff was friendly and helpful with any of our needs. So overall I gave the tour 5 Stars and thank the STM Staff and the Tour Guides for a wonderful experience.

We had so much fun with Stoke at Springfest - my friends and I had decided to seek out camping options due to the price of hostels in Munich while the festival was happening, and I'm so glad we booked with Stoke. The people that were staying on the campsite were so much fun and the unlimited alcohol on the campsite definitely saved us money. Highly recommend doing travel with this company.

My mates and I had a blast getting absolutely STOKED at Stoketoberfest. The tents were a bit rough but were absolutely perfect for this kind of event - literally just a place to pass out! The entertainment was fab and was really easy to get into to the main Oktoberfest halls from their campsite. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Oktoberfest on a budget and have the party of their lives

Setting up the tour, and the tour itself were wonderful. We had a few glitches in our plans and Paula was a great help in getting them worked out. Hotels were very good and clean, food at the hotels, excellent! That said, the bikes were NOT. Even though they were brand new, and the gearing great for what they were. However, we did this tour under our own power, no electric bikes, and were told that hybrid bikes were not available for this tour, also told we weren’t allowed to use clip-in pedals. The bikes were heavy, and we found ourselves walking and pushing them up many hills, some rocky and gravel roads, which, if we would have had a decent bike for this tour, a hybrid bike, we would most likely had an easier time of it. Not happy about the bikes! Also, the opening page of the tour says 1-99 as in years old of people that could do this tour, definitely false advertising, there is no way, even with the electric bikes, that some people could not navigate the roads on this tour. We are 2 women in our 70’s and did it, I am proud to say, we have a lot of experience, it was not easy. It could have been much more enjoyable with a different bike. Over all, a fantastic trip. wir haben mit einer kleinen Gruppe Rügen erwandert und haben aufgrund früher guter Erfahrung wiederum bei Eurohike gebucht. Eine Möglichkeit, diese Tour Rügen zu bewerten, gibt Eurohike leider nicht her Der lokale Partner Mecklenburger Radtour ist als äußerst empfehlenswert hervorzuheben - einfach spitze, weil stets bemüht und äußerst zuvorkommend wenig sinnvoll ist es, die physischen Reiseunterlagen erst am Anreisetag vor Ort zu erhalten die Routen selber sind völlig o.k. mit tollen Eindrücken von der Insel die Hotelauswahl ist akzeptabel, auch wenn bei der gebuchten gehobenen Kategorie eine bessere Auswahl erwartet worden war wenn für diese Tour Rügen nur 1 Stern vergeben wird, so liegt es schlicht daran, dass die Hotelunterkunft am letzten Abend unserer Wanderung einfach katastrophal gewesen ist - Schimmel im Bad, durchgelegene Matratze, knarzendes Bett, Frühstück, zu dem "Zuckersäfte" angeboten wurden einfach schade, dass diese schöne Tour so hat enden sollen Fazit: bei einer Buchung sollte unbedingt vorab die Hotelauswahl angefordert werden

We were on the road with Eurohike from Garmisch to Meran and the indicated daily kilometers often do not correspond to the actual kilometers. There were no correct directions to the hotel for an overnight stay. However, we found the return transfer completely wrong. The hotel was outside Merano, so we needed a cab to get to the meeting point mentioned by Eurohike, as there was no public transport. Onward journey in Bolzano with a 1 1/2 hour wait away from the bus terminal. Unfortunately, Eurohike is often inaccurate which leads to additional costs, waiting times and annoyance. Conclusion: The quality of the organization and the data provided are disproportionate to the price of the trip. M. Wagner

We were there mid week Sep 24-25 at Hotel Senator with Max and team. They took really good care of us during our visit to the Oktoberfest Tents. We loved the close proximity to entrance and had a fabulous time with the entire group. The Thirsty Swagman is the best and takes real good care of your needs. (Oliverio grp)

This was a bucket list trip for my husband and it did not disappoint. Everything was set up for us and we had so much fun. Ken and his crew were friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful time! Hotel was great, arrangements were smooth, and when complications arose (train strike), they kept in contact with me, updating me and offering alternatives. Great company.

The Munich tour was five days of our German two-week adventure. It was an organized way for us to get to know Germany. Their planned events were well done, and we were able to enjoy ourselves. My only criticism would be a warning that when you needed a rest room you needed coins to pay to use them. Our first adventure with paying for a WC was a bit dramatic. However, with that understanding, we soon had a pocket of coins in our pockets for future use.

Our Tourradar/Sherpa Expeditions hiking tour was King Ludwig's Way (26 July through 2 August). That my son, Michael, and I enjoyed it very much is perhaps an understatement. We had no mishaps and had very co-operating weather. We were exposed to and learned much of Bavarian landscape, history, and culture. Our travel arrangements were well thought-out, planned, and executed. Upon subsequent review of your other hiking tours, I find that many are of similar nature and format. Exactly what we were looking for. All we wanted was access to Oktoberfest with like minded people- people wanting the experience of Oktoberfest from a German/local perspective. After spending weeks in Germany touring ourselves, this was a nice way to end the trip.

Very poor orientation to the bikes, this was an overriding issue Possibly better bike maintenance could be possible Guides were extremely good at arranging alternative activities when the weather was bad

Ik heb alleen maar positieve woorden, ik heb een fantastisch avontuur beleefd. Dankjewel Yes-Trips! Ik was mee naar Oktoberfest en het is écht een aanrader. Het vervoer liep vlocht, fijne slaapplek en het allerbelangrijkste: super gezellige mensen!!! 100% aan te raden en ik kan niet wachten op mijn volgende reis!!
