Sanne was an excellent tour guide, our trip was quite challenging in lots of ways and she coped with everything efficiently and cheerfully. She was very knowledgeable about local culture, plants and animals and that definitely enhanced the experience. It felt like we got the most out of our time starting early worked really well and we saw Uluru at sunset and Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuṯa at sunrise. The only down side was that I should have booked directly with Autopia. Tour radar added a layer of confusion to the booking process which was quite stressful. Once we got on the bus we were very happy with the tour. It was a great experience and we would definitely not have got the same if we had hired a car and done it by ourselves.

The communication from Tour Radar once I booked and paid for the tour was appalling. It was so incredibly difficult to gain any information at all, I called, emailed, used their ‘preferred’ messaging system that promoted itself as 24/7 communication and would not hear from anyone for 3-5 days. I ended up calling Inspiring Journeys directly to find out what was happening. Once I arrived in Alice Springs, the day before the tour, there was no booking for me. The hotel staff had to ring on my behalf and fortunately found my name! I met other people on my tour in the hotel and they had a different itinerary, different meeting time, everyone was so confused. There was no welcome letter or information available. It was a comedy show… The tour itself was great, the 4WD vehicle was so comfortable and well stocked, the driver kept us safe, the accomodation was good, the experiences were fun, especially Under the Desert Moon and Outback BBQ. Our guide was like a deer in headlights, he knew his stuff but was so unapproachable and made no attempt to get to know anybody. Thankfully, our group was excellent and everyone hit it off. I will NEVER book with Tour Radar again
- by Stephanie TaylorThe Red Centre had always been on my bucket list and it was incredible! I 100% recommend travelling with Inspiring Journeys. I chose this tour as it was small group and our Driver Myles was so knowledgeable and ensured we were looked after every step of the way. We booked an extra night in Ayers Rock so we could do Field of Light - well worth it!

It was better than we expected, the landscape and vegetation green and alive and rain on Uluru with it’s waterfalls were something very few people experience
- by Trevor ProctorIt was an excellent tour if your looking for a hands-on camping experience. the activities were numerous with walks, swimming, abseiling , whale watching, helicopter rides etc if you so chose to partake. Adam our guide was extremely knowledgeable and catered for every ones needs. He made sure everybody was welcome and made to feel special.

Great tour for our family. Just the right amount of activity. Tour guide was great. Very organised and knowledgeable. Accomodation in permanent tents was good, especially the stretcher beds.
- by Miriam FishTook the tour hosted by Robert & Frederico. Robert was always full of energy when he spoke and he had lots of stories. Whenever we saw animals on the outback roads he stopped and allowed us to have a look and photograph them. He did this with camels. He found a dead snake on the side of the road and then pulled it into our van for us all to have a look at it. He found a thorny devil on the side of the road and pulled it into the van for all of us to look at it. He was very knowledgeable with explaining the story of the Southern Cross star constellation. I liked that the tour guides allowed us to swap seats in the van and sit up the front with Robert. I liked the number of stops we had including Erldunda at the geographic centre of Australia and the many photo opportunities on the side of the road. It was fabulous to see Uluru and I was amazed at the height and size of it. We saw the sunset over Uluru which changed the colour of the rock which was sensational. We also saw the sunrise over Uluru and I enjoyed visiting the Aboriginal cultural centre. Aboriginal art is stunning and the people are friendly.

AATKings was a great tour company to use to tour the Uluru area because they took care of every detail from start to finish. They are very well organized and have thought of every detail from the time you leave the airport after collecting your luggage to returning you back to the airport for your flight home. Tour guides were friendly, professional, encouraging and knowledgeable. The Red Centre Short Break Tour hit some of the biggest highlights and was a comprehensive tour of the area. My only advice to people booking in the future is give yourself an extra day or two here if time isn’t an issue. We never got a relaxing day at the resort pool or an evening to have a nice leisurely dinner because every day was packed with activities. If you’re planning a trip to Uluru, use AAT Kings to take all the planning off your hands - you’ll be glad you did.

Itinerary for the 7day Alice Springs, ulura , McDonald Ranges & Kings Canyon was Fantastic. I am glad i saw it all. The communication was great, buses were AAT King so nice coaches. Only one thing- i thought i would be with the same people for the whole tour- not day trips (seems the Outback works that way)
- by Susan FraserDisappointed this was not a group tour as that is the way the description made it sound. Wanted to travel with the same set of people for the 8 days and make new friends. Had I have known it was piece mealed together I could have done the same thing and scheduled things better. As after we had paid in full the tour changed and we did not spend the night in West Mcdonald mountain range it was a waste of time to do a 7+ hour bus trip for a 1.5 hour riverbed water that required you to be on the bus at 4:30am after being on a tour the night before until 9:30pm. It could have been set up to only spend 3 nights in Alice Springs and 4nights in Ayer Rock, if they were not going to stay in W. Macdonald for the 1-night original advertised. The 2 tours of Alice Springs could have been all in one. The tours were all very good the one I already mentioned about.

Fantastic guides, really great camping set up, meals and route. The cultural component was also appreciated.
- by Jesse BoothTrekking with light luggage was comfortable, but I think the pace is a little too fast for Japanese people.
