The Tour with Paul was really amazing! Learned a lot!

Our guide, Nev went above and beyond to ensure that we were extremely well looked after all the way. The scenery was stunning, accommodation amazing and the safaris and tours gave us very close up views of the incredible wildlife.

Table Mountain (walking and cable car - we managed both but didn't walk to the top), the trip leader (Werner), ziplining, Addo, every aspect of the natural world there.

So may highlights - Seeing penguins, sea kayaking in Tsitsikamma, whale watching, safaris, ostrich farm.

Our honeymoon vacation through South Africa was amazing! We got to see a little of everything and even with all the traveling around it was stress free. Our guide was terrific and we would 1000% book again!

We had a great time on this trip. It allowed us to see so much in a short amount of time and we loved every minute!

The trip was so well organised! Our guide Taariq was the funniest person ever!! But also super helpful and went out of his way to take us where we needed to go. He is truly great at his job and a decent human being. Would 100% recommend the 11 day garden route/kruger tour. Saw so many beautiful places and met incredible people.

From booking to accommodations, to transportation, to meals, and adventure, it was a phenomenal trip! I knew what was happening and felt very cared for.

The service level of this tour was good in most aspects, and I especially enjoyed the input of and interaction with members of the guides team. Same with the route choice and the quality of food and accommodation. The one thing that Tourradar fell seriously short in was the choice of e-bikes. Although I had in advance indicated my length (1.95m) in the application, I was given a standard-size bike, and when complaining about the height of the handlebar I was told that there was no alternative. This seriously reduced the level of comfort when biking.

As a first time sole female traveler, my trip was absolutely incredible. My tour guide, Gareth, was so knowledgable about everywhere we were and made it a really good atmosphere for the group to all get to know each other. Every stop was worthwhile and every accommodation blew me away they were so nice. I had an amazing time!

Beyond expectations. Tour was flawless from the airport connections to the backpackers lodges. Our guide Wendy with earthstompers was superb. Mariska was extremely helpful with tourradar and Nicolene was equally as well with travel encounters. They arranged our side trips for shark cage diving and skydiving as well without having any issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend this your to anyone. This trip to South Africa was a trip of a lifetime.

Just returned after the " the big 5 in South Africa" tour. Well organized and good itinerary. The support was excellent when needed .Thanks to Penny, Rose, Amanda for the excellent arrangements, professional support and daily updates which helped us to enjoy the tour. The guide and driver Abdella was very professional and made the 1000 km drive comfortable and safe.The vehicle provided was comfortable. The hotels were good, clean and comfortable . Suggest the second night stay at Knysna can be changed to Oudtshoorn or George to avoid 2hour drive. Definitely recommand this tour. Antony Thoppil

Everything is fantastical and well planned. Itinerary is good. However, Knysna stay could be avoided and instead it should be in George. It will surely save couple on hours travel on 2 days of the itinerary. Rest all is simply perfect.

Amazing tour and best tour guide one can wish for

Me & my mother took this tour back in early May, with Gareth being our tour guide. I'm a little late on writing this review but rather late than never! I just want to say that it was amazing. We were astonished by how good all the food was. It was a steal! The sights and activities were excellent, including the company of the travel mates. Lastly, our guide Gareth, I really liked his attitude and how straightforward he was, a good sense of humor too. Couldn't recommend this tour of the Garden Route enough, 10/10!

A wonderful trip with so much to see and do from day one to the end.  Apart from the wine tasting (which was at best bizarre) I couldn't fault the trip.   What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? Hermanus and the Southern Right Whales.  I really couldn't believe how close they came into shore and so many of them, although we still took the boat trip out which was well worth it as we had some stunning sightings. What did you think of your group leader? Piena was without a doubt the best tour leader we have ever had.  Somewhat lacking in a sense of direction, but this led to some really funny moments for the rest of us.  Extremely knowlegeable about all the places we visited and the things we saw and with a wonderful sense of humour - a great trip companion (in fact you should clone her so that every Exodus trip has a 'Piena' as a guide) Do you have any advice for potential travellers? The weather was very changeable so make sure you have something for all eventualities, and the evenings do get very chilly.  Do add on a few days post tour in Cape Town to give you time to see more of the sights.  We chose one day to do a Safari with a tour company called 'Mile by Mile' which was great value for money and well worth doing (Hippos, Rhinos, Lions, Zebra) and included breakfast and lunch at the game reserve.  Also the 'Red Bus' is great for seeing Cape Town and the near surrounding area. Is there anything else you would like to add? Book it ...... it's a fabulous experience.

It was a really varied trip fitting in so much in a short space of time - elephants, wild cats, spectacular coastal scenery, ostriches, Cango Caves, whale watching, penguins, Cape Town, Table mountain and the Cape of Good Hope. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? My favourite day when we arrived in Cape Town. We went up Table mountain, then drove along Chapman's Peak where we had stunning views, visited the penguins on Boulders beach and then had an impromptu swim in the sea. What did you think of your group leader? Piena was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny and such good company. There was a wide range of ages in our group but she got on well with everyone. Do you have any advice for potential travellers? If you can, stay on longer in Cape Town. There is so much to see and do and the City sightseeing hop on - hop off bus is a really good way of visiting all the attractions. I am really pleased that I decided to stay a couple of extra nights. Is there anything else you would like to add? I would recommend this holiday.

I didn’t get to go due to the current situation in the world. I haven’t heard back from Bamba about a refund or rescheduling.

Following a 5 day stay in Cape Town, my wife and I were (by pure fluke) lucky enough to be the only people on this particular tour; we therefore had our own private tour at our disposal. Jakes - our tour guide and the owner/operator of Amatungulu Tours - was absolutely first class. He was punctual, very polite & attentive and knowledgeable regarding all things relating to South African culture, history and wildlife. Jakes provided a real personal touch that we felt was second to none and was happy to accommodate any requests regarding the tour itinerary. All of the accommodation and experiences that he booked were excellent & thoroughly enjoyable - all of which made for a wonderful holiday, that we will never forget. Thank you Jakes. My wife and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
