Thanks team! We had a wonderful time. The Agra hotel was lovely, and our guide Arif was good. Shahid in Fatehpur Sikri was excellent – his passion made the experience truly memorable. Driver Usman is also doing a fantastic job! Our Jaipur stay was great too. The 7 Apple hotel was perfect, and Radje was a nice guide. The elephant ride was so much fun! Merhal, our Delhi guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. The company was also fantastic – very involved and responsive to any request. The free lunch in Agra was excellent! A special thanks to our manager, Aahil, for being so attentive. I really felt taken care of throughout this five-day trip. Overall, a truly fantastic experience!
- by e_GorTruly a 10/10 experience for my 3 friends and I, who experienced India for the very first time. Activities, monuments, histories, food, experiences, hotels and transport totally exceeded our expectations. The tour was organized incredibly efficiently, with Aahil in particular accommodating our changes and requests before and throughout our tour with quick responses and swift action. Our driver Guddu, was an absolute star! He made sure we were safe and taken care of throughout our tour, was always on time and ready to go when needed, and accommodated small changes to our itinerary here and there. He provided us with bottled water every day and snacks in the car for our long drives between cities, and drove incredibly well in the chaos of India! The most caring driver. I’d like to give a special thanks to our tour guides throughout, Ali and Shahid in Agra, Jitendar in Jaipur and Siddhi Sharma in Delhi, who all were welcoming and friendly, and taught us great histories and stories about all the places and experiences we had, took care of ticket buying at all monuments and advised us effectively on how to handle all situations in bustling India. We felt safe in their hands. For anyone wanting to experience North India or the Golden Triangle, I would 100% recommend this tour! Even though this was my first tour in India, I don’t think it can be beaten. Thank you Taj Tours for an incredible experience :)

Everything was organized and efficient. Hotels we stayed at were amazing and the driver and tour guide knew so much history about the place. Our coordinator Jumaan was easy to work with and our driver was very friendly.
- by Allene FloresIt was great experience! Our driver Asif displayed excellent driving skills and was very helpful throughout the journey. Their assistance greatly contributed to a pleasant travel experience. Highly recommend both the driver and their travel agency.

- by Christoph NussbaumerAs a young western lady I was nervous to travel so far, however, from start to finish, the tour guide made me feel so safe & ensured we each had the most incredible time each day. I recommend Intrepid to anyone wanting an adventure of a lifetime with the assurance of knowing you have the full support & trust of the tour guide every step of the way. He really went above and beyond in ensuring we all had a fantastic trip. Thank you for the trip of a life time!

Deepak was very responsive and helpful when booking this tour. The driver we had, Mr Surendra, was great. Hotels were fine but they were on the outskirts of the towns so you either had to walk long distances or organise a tuktuk/car. The restaurants we were offered to by our guide were all tourist traps and not very good. The classic “bring your tourists here and get a free meal for the driver”. The tour guides we were provided seemed like they just wanted to collect their payment and get on with it. They were very rushed and showed us the bare minimum in the monuments. We had to keep asking to see more of places, and reminding them that this is our first and probably only time seeing these places so we’d like to take our time. On the tour details, it says you will be back in Delhi by 2pm on the last day. We were not back until 6:30pm so beware when booking flights!
- by Meagan PhelanWe would not use this provider, World Travel Experiences, again. This was not a fully-guided tour. There were dozens of hours alone in a car with a driver who didn't speak English well before we were dropped off on our own to a hotel or the airport or handed over to a local city guide. The airline connections with IndiGo airlines were changed without prior notice, resulting in two wasted travel days without seeing anything and a long drive from Delhi to Agra getting us there late around midnight Hotel in Agra (Taj Villa) was horrible with only one bed in the room, no heat, and very dirty. Communication was poor and this tour did not meet expectations. That being said, Kathmandu, the Taj Mahal, the Jama Mosque and the Amer Fort were all worth seeing. The optional tour where you could ride, feed, play with, and paint the elephants was phenomenal. The Lilypool Hotel in Jaipur was excellent.

Making History in the Golden Triangle For this trip, I was continuously amazed as this solo guided tour with driver and guides starts from Delhi either from the airport or your hotel. The timing worked well since returning was after the holiday parade for me. This particular tour gives options for the star quality of the hotels, so if common necessities are needed, go a star higher. Most of India’s hotels are completely different from each other. Get your hotel list from the organizer as early as possible. I did a three star option, and was already prepared with most of my necessities. It included towels and shampoo/gel/kettle. Breakfast styles vary. Your driver will guide you to general stores as needed, so take a shorter lunch break each day if needing necessities. In Delhi, there are photo op stops and visits through mosques, memorials, and monuments with the landscaped government buildings as a visual treat. Lunch suggestions included both local and western food menus. My guide, Indu, gave a personalized touch with cultural descriptions and a lovely tea time presentation of locally made rugs, scarves, and traditional clothing. My suggestion is to only do one gallery presentation for the five days and explore other markets the rest of the days. Make sure you know where the ATMs and services are throughout the day, as your driver can stop for you. Taking the train to Agra was really easy since the company organized the purchase of the ticket. Navigating through the train station is self-explanatory, but the drivers are available as needed. The train ride was mixed with larger tours, so interacting was fun. There’s also a food tray offering with tea. During this tour, I was guided through the Red Fort and Taj Mahal. Weather adjusted the order of sightseeing. Anushka was my guide for this day full of historical knowledge. He personalized the sightseeing with well-timed transitions. Lots of hidden gems while in Agra were highlighted with painted murals throughout the city. Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri Stepwell had amazing photo ops. Both my driver Pooran and guide Bandi are great at taking photos. There are temples and markets in these areas, and they can both guide you where it is good to shop. There’s a cute rooftop lounge in Agra called The Salt Cafe. In Agra, you will see more monkeys, so it’s best to ask the driver for transport or request a hotel near the business streets. My driver Pooran was from Agra also, and he navigated the 5 days with exceptional service. He even accompanied to the local shop when needed! Jaipur involved two nights of stay in order to get an earlier start back to Delhi on Republic Day. Jaipur is very alive with palace museums and courtyards as well as shopping, so let your guide know if you prefer to see the walking markets over the distributor galleries. Jaipur is where you’ll see more elephants, camels, and cows. You’ll also see the manicured areas of Hawa and Jal Mahal structures while roaming through Amber Fort and City Palace. The Jantar Mantar Observatory was a nice end to the guided trips with Ydilip. He was able to read the crowd and time transitions well. We found two great spots within the attractions for coffee and tea times. Amazing views! There is more shopping and live artistry inside these sights. Pooran was ready for pick-up at each spot every day since he collaborates timing with all guides. Note that all sights have a special foreigner price, all cities have similar shops with different prices, and most items can be bought with card readers. Cash Only signs are very common though. Some price quotes you will get in Euros or USD, so ask sellers to specify. On the way back to New Delhi, you’ll have a chance to eat and shop more at the Dawat Restaurant. It’s at the mid-point of the 4-5 hour drive which has scenic views of mountains, farms, and more. For me personally, it was a good first-timer solo-tourist trek. I should suggest more market time and hotel location consideration for ATMs/necessities.
- by THERESA MACNEILNamaste 🙏Thank you to all at Joyful holidays. We had the most amazing time on the 4 day Golden triangle tour. Our driver, Mr Ram Kumar was excellent. He was always on time, and extremely safe on the roads. 🙏 The tour guides, Suni, Sanjay, Pramood and Shiv were brilliant too. There knowledge and insight at each location was unsurpassed and truly commendable. Thank you to all at Joyful Holidays and especially to Sonia for organising the experience of a lifetime for us. We will definitely use your company again when we next come to India. 🇮🇳

I am from Moscow. During my travel in Jaipur and Amber-fort I meet a guide Sudep Chattergi Kumar. It was a good chance for me, because Sudep is really one of the best guide I have met in Rajasthan. Very clever, particularly polite, he knows everything about his country and loves India a lot.
- by DmitryThere was a nice mix of activities and experiences. The organization was good. Jai did a nice job keeping everything on track and accommodating everyone's needs.
