Overall my tour was a great experience, mostly due to my amazing guide Yamila (I highly recommend finding out when Yamila is doing the tour and book then!) Our two cooks Sergio and Paulina were phenomenal as well. I booked the refugio but it was full so I ended up in a tent which was fine as the tent was spacious and the sleeping bag was very warm (plus you have more privacy in a tent). I will caution people to not get so hung up on the schedule, as things like weather can change very quickly and the guides might adjust the schedule to make the most of your time in Patagonia. I would recommend this tour if you’re adventurous, fit, and most importantly flexible. If you’re all of these things you will not regret your time on this tour.
- by Tyler DiedrickDear TourRadar Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the W Trek tour I booked through your website, which took place from December 23, 2024. The tour was operated by Unu Raymi Expedition, headed by Mr. James. The original itinerary, as shared on the confirmation email, was as follows: Day 1: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine - Lago Pehoe - Trekking Mirador Base Torres - Travel to Torres del Paine National Park - Hike to Mirador Base Torres - Meals: Boxed Lunch, Dinner - Accommodation: Camping Base Torres Day 2: Base Torres - Lago Pudeto - Paine Grande - Catamaran from Lake Pudeto to Paine Grande - Trek to Mirador Carreta in the afternoon - Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner - Accommodation: Refugio or Camping Paine Grande Day 3: Trek to Waterfalls, Cuernos Mirador, Lago Nordenskjold - 13.5 km trek bordering Lake Nordenskjöld and Cerro Almirante Nieto - Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner - Accommodation: Refugio or Camping Paine Grande Day 4: Trekking to Glacier Grey - Hike to Grey Glacier - Kayaking in Lake Grey (afternoon) - Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner - Accommodation: Refugio or Camping Grey or Paine Grande Day 5: Trekking to Glacier Grey - Puerto Natales - Catamaran to Pudeto, then bus to Puerto Natales - Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch However, the actual experience was far from what was promised. Here are the issues we faced: - Day 1: We reached Paine Grande at 5 PM and did not hike on that day. - Day 2: We went to Grey Glacier and returned. The operator informed us that we would need to hike to Mirador Frances and back to Paine Grande the next day, which was not part of the original itinerary. - Day 3: We decided to hike to Frances and stay overnight, incurring additional expenses for camping fees, meals, and other costs (approximately USD 150). - Day 4: We hiked from Camp Frances to Central, incurring additional expenses for meals (approximately USD 75). - Day 5: We paid for transfers from the park to Puerto Natales (approximately USD 25). Furthermore, the operator cancelled bookings for two members of our group, Siddhant and Tanya, on Day 2 without explanation. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Unu Raymi Expedition and the lack of communication from their team. The changes to the itinerary and lack of support caused significant hardship, including physical and mental strain, and financial losses. I request that TourRadar takes immediate action to: 1. Reimburse us for the additional expenses incurred due to the changes in the itinerary (approximately USD 250). 2. Obtain compensation from Unu Raymi Expedition for the hardship and distress caused during the trek (a reasonable amount to be determined). 3. Penalize Unu Raymi Expedition for their poor service and lack of communication. 4. Review and verify the original itinerary and log changes to ensure that the operator did not alter the itinerary to conceal their mistakes. I hope that TourRadar will take our complaints seriously and take necessary actions to prevent such incidents in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Very good communication on site. Reliable organization. Good hotels and accommodation.
- by Joachim GörgenExcellent holiday! Very well organised - the team: Hannah, Lilly, Barbara, Wendy Penny, Sam- put a lot of effort into organising an excellent itinerary. Brilliant communication with the local teams on the ground, couple of minor hiccups out of their control (eg a local domestic flight cancelled with nothing till the next day), which they helped me deal with very efficiently and I felt very looked after throughout. Would happily use them again! Pro tips for future travellers: ignore the guide books, no one speaks English, get a good few Spanish sentences ready! Laundry - do at El calafate hotel - half the price of everywhere else! In puerto natales there is quite alot of street noise on the sea view room - I’m a good sleeper so it didn’t bother me at all but light sleepers might want a different room! Thanks very much team I will always be grateful!

The itinerary was not accurate. There was also no communication when changes were made regarding the itinerary. There was also late accommodation's arranged since there was nothing actually planned for the day. The only contact available then blamed the customer for their lack of preparedness.

From booking the trip to returning home, my experience was very positive. The excursions and accommodations were top tier—I even said that the hotel was the best I’ve ever stayed in. At times throughout the stay, I had questions and the agents of TourRadar answered in a timely manner. The detailed itinerary, including directions for navigating the airport, were quite helpful. I would absolutely book through TourRadar again next time.
- by Anthony JonasThe tour was great, and the guide was friendly and courteous. Overall, I enjoyed it very much. One point is that it would be nice to have English speaking guide so that it does not give the impression of missing some information while two-third of what the guide was explaining in Spanish was not missing anything in English part.

Excellent tour with a great guide and a great bunch of people from around the world
- by Paul GiddensThe G adventure tour is excellent. The trip was great because of excellent program and great CEO from G adventure. Starting from Buenos Arias, everything is planned and taking care of. We had excellent weather, a great group of adventure minded people. Val (our CEO from G adventure) communicated everything ahead of time and making sure everyone's needs were met. The sighs and hiking were great. Val reserved dinner for the group almost everyday so we could have fun after a hard day of hiking. All in all, a trip to remember.

Great to work with Great to work with, excellent and clear communication which made for a seamless and enjoyable holiday across multiple countries.
- by Ricky ZappiaIt was a great trip! Everything was well coordinated. The sightseeings were absolutely beautiful. Internal transportations were smooth. Local guides were friendly and helpful. It's one of the best trips I ever had. I will recommend to my friends in the U.S.

The organization was good. Overall, however, the hiking/trek day was average/okay.
- by Bart AndersonThe tour was great, good itinerary, bus tours in parks were excellent. We got a quick response when we had to contact the Itravel. The accommodations were great in El Chalten and Ushuaia. The accommodation in El Calafate the Pioneros was crappy, we had a room in a building in the back of the hotel looking like a bunker, the room was basic, flacking paint on walls, the bathroom ceiling was a panel of plywood and many black spots around the bath. The sidewalk was broken. The breakfast was limited to toast and coffee. This place is to be avoid. In general the breakfast hours are not adapted to the early morning tour. We found this tour just amazing and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to all team.

Amazing tour! Everything was very smooth and tourradar is always super responsive. This is our third time using this company and we plan to use them for all of our complicated trips.

Terrible service. Interesting, but not worth the trouble. Crappy food. The only thing saving this tour are the icebergs, nothing else. I’ve been to a lot of places, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Italy, France, Switzerland, England, Japan, Philippines and this is the worst tour I had and the most expensive one as well. I didn’t want to give this review until the tour is finished but there’s an expiration date to this chance to review. I don’t want to miss my chance to give this review. I can elaborate more on the terrible service, but I’ll keep this review short.
- by Maria BaguioConstance made it very easy for us from the get go by having the lines of communication open at all times. A couple of weeks before our trip began we downloaded her app Vamos, that had all information we needed and more on it . Job very well done. Again, thanks to Constance.

Our guide Javiar was superb. Took great care of us. Food was also very good. The itinerary was well planned and went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Intrepid Tours.
- by John HughesThe Patagonia Wilderness tour was outstanding in every respect! It was well priced, well organized and it exceeded my expectations. I recommend it with any hesitation or reservation whatsoever.

The personnel at Say Hueque were were very helpful and I am grateful to them. My first stop at El Calafate was ruined by how inadequate transportation was from the airport at el Chalten. The suspension of the van was so bad that I got sick with vertigo, even though the driver let me ride up front after 5 minutes in the van, which I could not stand because I became so dizzy. I wish there had been more information in the itinerary package about the trails in El Calafate, though. I had to struggle with the very basic map in the hotel to find a couple of them. Transportation to and from Puerto Natales was easy, with comfortable and clean buses. The excusrion to Prito Moreno galcier was a highlight of the whole trip. Good van and excellent, professional guide. All the hotels were acceptable, with lovely and helpful personnel. The only unacceptable part, much to my disappointment, was the excursion to Torres del Paine. The guide was atrocious but thought of himself as funny and personable. The tour itself was boring. Later I found out that we could have been driven to the Salto Grande falls very easily, and there are a few trails that start at the facilities there. The only walking that we were allowed to do was a 10 minute path to the mud flats of one of the lakes! And the trip to the caves was a waste of time and money.

This tour is actually broken up into several pieces handled by different local operators at each stopping point. So instead of one group of tourists you think you will be travelling with you get new people at every destination. Its a way worse way to spend you time since you have to reacquaint yourself with new members every day. Not fun at all, especially if you are a solo traveler or enjoy chatting with the people you already know. Also, there are a lot of empty days with transportation and no activities. It is really just a 3 day package if you exclude down time. Which makes it a very poor value.

Very good tour. Covers a lot of territory with little down time makes it somewhat exhausting at times. We had a fantastic guide and she (Sol) arranged some fantastic meals in great restaurants. The lake crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Varas is spectacular.
