Had a wonderful time, Christoph our guide was wonderful with his stories and Iceland history. The Icelandic weather played with our emotions when it came to seeing the norther lights but thankfully we got to see them on our last night there. This is a place I plan on visiting again.
- by Janice GreenBus was very hot , seats smaller than airplane seats, very thin . Less than16”. Air vents above seat not working. No air, very hot.Guide un Professional, very hard to understand we often had no idea what was next or where he was at.overnight stay was not hotel but a cabin at a campground, with no tv ,only one restaurant which food at their hotel was grossly overpriced. about 50 usd per person poor English missed diamond beach completely.ddue to poor explanation of what was coming on.change of itinerary not explained well at all .agenda very rushed . Barely time to see sites , no time for bathroom or food or shopping, a lot of walking!!! 1/2 mile per site. Not stated in description. Not a tour where the bus parks right next site, not for older people >60, no attempt to see northern lights,

Well done. Very organized.
- by Anup DesaiThe glacier hike was such a great experience! Heimir was an excellent guide and gave us many fun facts about the rich history and culture of Iceland! If you are short on time, this is a great way to see the iconic treasures of the south! Highly recommend!

For technically only 3 days of tour activities, we were able to see and experience many different things. Funny and knowledgable tour guide.
- by JessicaWe had an awesome time in Iceland! Our tour guide, Herdis, was very kind and helpful! The tour allowed us to visit national parks, rural farms, craters, explore lava caves, see the beaches, visit waterfalls and more! We learned a lot about Iceland, got to explore the city of Reykjavík, and met great people. Herdis taught us about the culture and history of Iceland and gave us opportunities to try local bakeries, restaurants, and smaller markets to try Icelandic foods and cuisine. We were even lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights on our last day there! Loved it, can't wait to go back!

I had a really amazing time with my group in Iceland! I had a lot of worries prior to the trip because it was my first time out of North America, on my first solo trip, and I don't drink so I thought nobody was going to talk to me. It was quite the contrary, there will always be people who will talk to you & want to be around you. I found a great group of friends, we went on so many great adventures, learned a lot about Iceland, ate SUCH GOOD FOOD, and saw the best sights. Demi was a stellar trip manager, she made me feel so comfortable, she knows her stuff, and she made me laugh so many times during the trip. I'm so glad I went on this trip, and if you're on the fence, I'd say book it now, you won't regret it!

This tour was outstanding. Marina Travel catered to every need and request. They were proactive, informative, and very responsive. An incredible country, a once-in-a-llifetime experience, and great support from Marina Travel and Tour Radar
- by Katia WalshWonderful tour experience from booking to end. Tour operator was excellent in making adjustments to our itinerary to accommodate additional days before and after the tour. Communication during the tour was great as well.

We just returned from Nov 21-25 tour. Our guide Andri was excellent. He told us about his ancestors and history of his beloved country. He seems like in an industry that he really enjoys and it shows. The tour was at a good pace. You get enough time to take pictures and explore the sights. The only thing that I will change was the accommodation at Hotel Cabin. We got there at 9 am but the check in is at 3 pm. They didn’t give an option of checking in early so we explored the city on an hour sleep. Breakfast was okay. There is a food court closeby though called Borg29 mathöll and offers variety of delicious food. Technically speaking the tour is only 3 days long. The 2 days were your travel days to the airport. All in all, it was worth it.
- by Cara Kristine MapanaoWell organized, good pace of travel. The guide was very experienced and knowledgeable, with great stories to tell. Disappointed as we never saw the northern lights as we weren’t woken up as promised when they appeared.

Golden Circle Tour Day Kerið Crater was great even with some pretty foggy weather. Friðheimar Farm could be removed in my opinion as the limited daylight hours in December meant that once we finally arrived at Þingvellir National Park (4:30pm) it was pitch black and we couldn’t see or do anything. Throughout the day we also saw Gullfoss Waterfall (stunning and VERY windy) and Geysir Hot Springs (the main water blowhole explodes every 3-5mins). Overall the day was very good and our tour guide Zack was awesome but would’ve preferred a more exclusive itinerary to match up with the limited daylight hours. South Coast Tour Day This tour day was INCREDIBLE. My only feedback would be to start this day an hour earlier. The 9:30am pick up meant we didn’t get to the first place until 11:30am meaning we did lose a bit of daylight driving however our tour guide Addi was amazing and reshuffled the stops around so we did Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Reynisdrangar Cliffs, Vík Coastal Village, Sólheimajökull Glacier, Skógafoss Waterfall and Seljalandsfoss Waterfall in that order which meant we got to see everything before it got dark. 11/10 would recommend this day tour to anyone!! Northern Lights Tour Unfortunately for us, our Northern Lights Tour was cancelled twice due to bad weather. BusTravel’s was very accommodating in rescheduling us for both nights and then a third night. Although the tour did go ahead on the third night we unfortunately didn’t see any light activity. We would love to commend our tour guide Karlo as he did everything he could to hunt the lights for us. Logistics The pick up points everyday were very organised (ours was bus stop 6) and the driver called our name out when the bus arrived so you were never wondering am I on the right bus. There were plenty of toilets throughout each day tour and plenty of stops to buy food and souvenirs. The buses also have USB charging points. Make sure to rug up if you’re in December and expect to get wet as Iceland weather changes quickly! One minute it was sun and then next to was hailing. Overall we loved our time on these tours as you can see in the photos.
- by Adelaide MatinVery disappointing customer service of BusTravel Iceland. Due to bad weather conditions our cruise ship could not dock in the port of Akureyri. This was only known a few hours before the start of the excursion. Initially we would lose our money, later it was offered to participate in the excursion at a later time. Because our ship sailed on, and I can never travel to Iceland again due to health reasons, this is an offer that I cannot accept. The bottom line is that BusTravel Iceland took my money and I am left empty-handed through no fault of my own. Iceland is beautiful, please put it on your bucketlist. Unfortunately the hard earned money that BusTravel Iceland stole from me also remains in my memory of Iceland.

Tour wàs great Tour guide really good Full of information and accompanied us on tours I had a great time
- by Ainslie WarrinerEverything in the booking process went smoothly. They were very helpful answering questions and checking-in to hotels and picking up our car was a breeze. The app that was used as our guide was just points of interest on a map, I think it would have been helpful if you could put in a final destination and select points along the away, rather than just be able to choose one point of interest and have it navigate you there. It would also be helpful if the app had descriptions of what each point of interest was in addition to the name, so you didn’t have to look it up separately. We ended up building our own itinerary and used google maps to navigate because it was easier and made more sense to us. Still, having everything booked and a general outline for the trip was very helpful and convenient and I would definitely recommend.

It was with high expectations that I booked a tour with this company. I specifically booked with a Canadian company and was happy to see that they advertise as "hassle free" and "exceptional travel experience." My complaint is with the hotel that Wingbuddy booked me in. I paid a premium for an upgraded hotel. Imagine my dismay when my stay at this hotel included daily construction outside my room Monday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00. This was a a full scale construction area-jack hammers and all. When I asked hotel staff to change rooms I was told no other room was available as the hotel was fully booked. Staff at the hotel said that Wingbuddy was fully aware of this as other guests had complained and construction had started July 2024. I cannot understand why the company did not reach out to me and ask if I still wanted the upgrade, and or offer another hotel. When I reached out to Wingbuddy they apologized, said they were not aware of the construction and refused to offer any compensation. This is not what I would describe as "exceptional customer service."
- by Janet BowesEverything was really good! The flight with Islandair was very good. The hotel location was great, the staff were great. The breakfast and area was just okay. The front desk gal made fresh croissants and coffee for an early flight which was very much appreciated. The tours were great and easy instructions to follow. I would recommend Wingbuddy for tours and travel.
