The itinerary provided by tour radar was not exactly how the tour was set up. One of our stops said we would be doing a cruise on lake Powell. That was not provided with the tour. Also the hotels that they said we would be staying at did not line up.
- by JenniferOverall, the tour was very fun and we'll put together. The tour guides were all friendly, and seemed to work well as a team. Accomodations were not bad, but there were better options directly adjacent. Food options were pretty much all fast food, which makes sense for the tour concept. However, dinner options could have been a bit better. We really would have appreciated a little more hiking and exploring time, and a couple of the guides did the best to accommodate that. However, 20 minute stops are just not enough time to get "out and experience" the areas.

Well paced tour of Utah and Arizonas National Parks. Great guide. But the small van was a bit too cramped for 23 people. The food and restaurant options were also limited. especially for a gluten free seeker.

Booked this as part of our honeymoon, and honestly, it made our trip! We had so much fun and saw some unforgettable sights. The tour was so enjoyable that we were saying we should have booked an even longer one because three days felt too short! A big part of what made the trip such a great one was our guide, Joe Rickertsen, who was friendly, knowledgeable and all around fun to hang out with. We learned so much and loved our interactions with him. If given the option, we'd definitely choose him to be our guide again for our future tours!
- by Delaina KayeExcellent Tour - Unforgettable We had a great time. It was an unforgettable experience. The parks are beautiful. Our guide, Adrian was knowledgeable and helpful. Great sunny weather.

The (optional) helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon was the highlight for us. Watching the sunrise over Bryce Canyon came a close second. Antelope Canyon was a surprise and unexpectedly beautiful.
- by JanetFor me, the highlight was riding the Durango-Silverton Railroad in both directions. Since many of the spectacular views were only visible from one side of the train, the return trip allowed everyone to see the things they had missed on the uphill trip.

It was a good trip with a lot of fun outdoor activities.
- by Mikkel Blel HanssonIt was the first time. So it took some getting used to at first and so on. But otherwise there were some nice moments

Hiking in Yosemite was awesome!! Our tour leader, Ron, was very knowledgeable and always put our group's interest first. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested in visiting a national park.
- by Cecilia YabutThis is a good tour if you want to learn about different parts of southern American history. Some days you’re always going to be on the move and some days you’ll only spend half the day on a tour. It’s a good trip. Also if you want to check out different cities down south where you might want to visit again or perhaps move to one day.

I wanted to say excellent, but there is room for improvement. The website could be better. It required passport information with no option for "Not applicable." As a U.S. Citizen traveling in the U.S., a passport wasn't needed, but I continued to get reminders to complete my profile. Fortunately, I got an email assuring me I didn't need the passport, but I suggest updating your website. The descriptions of several days said "relaxed start," but most days, we had to be up early enough to be showered, dressed, and have our suitcases ready for pickup by 6:30 or 7:00 a.m. As an east-coaster, that was fine for me because of the time difference, but normally, I wouldn't call that relaxed. The sites were stunning, the optional activities were great, although one that I wanted to do got canceled due to a storm and there was no way to reschedule. The lodging was great at each stop and the provided meals were excellent. Some of the suggested "on-your-own" spot for meals were not so good. The change of lodging plans at the Grand Canyon was disappointing because we didn't get to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon or the stars late the night before. Sedona, The Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park were all fantastic, and we were blessed with great weather for most of the trip. Everyone should see these wonders of God's creation.

Texas is such an amazingly friendly destination and there were some favourite destinations along the way including San Antonio, Fort Worth where there was a Brisbane (Australia) female competing at the rodeo, at Louisiana dancing with professional dancers and New Orleans and a parade through the streets with all those musicians and dancers.
- by Lee AtkinsonLoved this trip seeing all the amazing collectable items, meeting people who keep the Route 66 tours continuing and what a great tour guide and lovely people. We had a few hiccups with buses but it added to the journey and destination. My husband is an auto buff so he loved every minute of the trip.

The destinations was ok The guide regular And the hotel I LAX terrible We feel sometimes alone without support
- by JOSE MANUEL GARCIAHotels are good. The itinerary needs a lot of improvements and adjustments with no cost to the operaterThe tour was supposed to be in English, unfortunately a lot of it , almosr 90%was in Spanish. We has one night at Flagstaff that was useless.. just to sleep over there at a cheapee hotel. We could have stayed at the grand canyon and have time to fly over the canyon in a hellicopter.

I have been on a few tours, including the excellent European whirlwind(Trafalgar ) booked through Tour radar last year, but this is by far the worst. The tour finished today. We reached LA around 9 pm and were just dumped on the side of the road on the footpath where it later turned out that ONLY tour buses are allowed to stop and that too for sightseeing. No information about this potential problem was given. Uber and other cars could not enter the carpark in Farmer's market and passengers were pushing heavy luggage around trying to find where those cars could pick them up.The tour guides had left the bus 4 hours ago in Vegas and the regular driver left in Barstow due to company policy. The new driver would not unload the suitcases and was shouting at us for loading the bus wrongly. (All loading was by previous driver and he had been good.).He refused to unload them because " he hadn't done the loading" . So passengers,(everyone over 60 and a couple over 80 ), had to climb into the luggage area and unload by themselves. The guides were ok but the bizzare company policy whereby everyone leaves after collecting tip money is not acceptable. At least one person should have stayed to make sure everyone was safe.We had to stay around at farmer's market for 45 minutes because the person who was supposed to pick up the 80 year old lady (from India ) could not find a way to get to her. We couldn't simply leave her to get mugged in a deserted , poorly lit corner of an empty car park. All in all, reasonable sightseeing but poor pre-tour communication and organisation and somewhat lax attitude with poor accountability in terms of leaving paying customers to fend for themselves and that too after 9 pm in a deserted, poorly lit corner of LA. The mind boggles. Tour Radar must look into this and make sure the company tightens up. Your credibility is at stake too and one day it could well be a tragedy if some defenceless person gets mugged or worse because the company cares two hoots about customer safety. Until they have improved, neither this or the associated should be coming up in Tour Radar searches.( Interestingly, different company names have been used for different passengers. Some had booked through AAA, some through Amadeo etc). I will not be recommending this company even though the guides were friendly and mostly helpful. The last few hours of the tour certainly left a bad taste in everyone's mouth but that's a problem with the company and probably not controllable by the guides. Poor ending to a reasonable tour. I already fed back direct to G Adventures
- by Rhona BeanThe itinerary was well organized and worked well to see the highlights of this interesting area. Our guide, Matt, was very well informed and helpful. Two events were especially interesting - the talk by the Navajo woman at our lunch stop, and the tour of the Lowell observatory.
