Tuscany Tour Companies

This adventure seemed new when I booked and didn't have enough reviews but I went ahead as the itinerary looked great and matched our dates. The itinerary and people behind "Italy on a budget" and "Italy on Wheels" exceeded our expectations. We are a mid 40's couple and the places we were taken to where outstanding from a Tuscany famous winery, top cooking classes, to a night tour around Florence or the spa night and dinner. It was magical! There was two small glitches in the itinerary, not this company but their partner's, but the team was quick to respond to fix it. I am personally thrilled with the caring service we got. Thanks to Alessandro, Antonello, Veronica, Anastacia and many others that made this trip wonderful. Ci vediamo presto amici !

This was the perfect blend of independent and guided. We had the opportunity to do what we wanted the first couple days, then kick back and enjoy the ride the last two days. We arrived in the afternoon on Day 1 so had time to enjoy the hostel's rooftop pool before meeting our guide for a walking tour of Florence in the evening. The YellowSquare Hostel was fantastic - they offer so many activities and events that you could go there with no plans and find plenty to do. Our tour guide, Marie from Italy on a Budget tours, was fantastic. We were the only group scheduled for the walking tour, so we got a very personalized experience with lots of recommendations for places to eat and local knowledge, which we took advantage of during our free day in the city. The winetasting day was also fantastic and I enjoyed the variety of wines and scenery between both vineyards. Cinque Terre was absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would have changed would have been to spend more time in one of the towns instead of an hour or less in each. It's a long day of train travel. If we'd had more time in Manarola or Vernazza, I would have gone swimming or kayaking. I hope to go back to Florence some day and spend even more time there!

Wife and I did this tour as the first part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It’s fast in each town, but very efficient to get you to everything in a small amount of time

Our group of 6 friends had a fantastic time. The hotel locations we found to be ideal and splendid rooms. The tours we chose were great and informative. The booking was incredibly easy and agent was so helpful. I recommend the tour package we built.

Lovely tour, particularly of Siena and San Gimignano. From cathedrals to cobblestones, turrets to towers, Pinocchio dolls to pasta, and reds to whites, this all-day tour was a wonderful experience to cherish and remember years from now. Special praise to Yvonne from Tui Italia for her outstanding responsiveness, communications, and agility.

Communication was the worst I've experienced. e.g. I was told the Florence tour would be 8 hours and it lasted 10 1/2 hours. Pick up points were not provided in the planning instructions and we had to walk long distances or take a taxi. During the Florence region bus tour the guide was not clear on the meeting points after free times and we, and other guests were scrambling to find the guide and bus. It would have been good for the guide to have either given us a central meeting point or handed out the meeting point on a piece of paper so I could get walking directions on my phone. The whisper hearing buds were not the best for guests, like me, who wear hearing aids.

We traveled to Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice. The tour was well planned and we had a wonderful time.

Our trip to Italy with Meet and Greet Italy and Riccardo was the trip of a lifetime! Riccardo was so organized and fun and made sure we didn’t miss a thing in Italy! We had a great small group of 24 and traveled by rail which we loved! Riccardo took such good care of us as a group and we will always carry with us the wonderful memories of Italy!

The best we could ever hope for!! Villa Lecchi was beyond our dreams. The views were spectacular of Tuscany. All of our tour guides were fantastic. And the food and wine was so good. Massimo our driver was incredible. Thank you for planning such a wonderful experience!!

The tour operator was very easy to work with. Some changes that we requested were easily handled. Drivers were on time, courteous, and the cars/vans were very nice. The initial tour was 4 days basing out of Mormoraia. We added Cinque Terre and Lucca with no problems. Wine tastings were all very fine and we shipped wine home from two of them. Generally speaking this was a very good way to see a great deal of Tuscany which was our purpose. I can feel good about recommending this tour and operator to anyone wanting to see all of Tuscany.

Wanderful was great to work with. Good communication via WhatsApp. Had a booking hiccup for the Vatican Tour where the information held by the local tour company didn't match my group and we weren't able to go. Wanderful staff worked hard to get it fixed but were not able to. We were able to rebook a similar tour ourselves and Wanderful refunded the value of the original booking. We upgraded to 4 star hotels and were happy with the locations and amenities.

The trip was great with a good balance of tours and free time. Communication was excellent and any questions I had were answered right away! Accommodations were comfortable and very conveniently located.

Great tour guide smoothed any wrinkles proactively. Kept us informed of daily plans. Ensured our every question and need was met. Coordinated our meets with local guides and features in a seamless fashion. Took it upon himself to tally bills from group meals — no easy task. Excellent navigation and driving, even dropped us at train station on final day. Could not have been better!

This was our first tour. It was very informative and the cities that were explored were both interesting and beautiful. Unfortunately Italy was experiencing a heat wave and all the walking turned into a lot of sweating ( not your fault ). If in the future we go on another tour... it will be with Tourradar.
