    • We had an amazing journey on our bike trip. Despite the heat (34C) each day, we managed well, stopping for breaks. Our tour leaders with Intrepid, Igor and Andro, were knowledgeable, organized and tended to our many needs. We were a small group of 4 participants which provided us with a small family atmosphere allowing us to get to know each other more. Our favourite days were the ones where we rode fewer kms so we had more time to explore in our destinations. Really enjoyed riding through the countryside - beautiful fields of sunflowers, views of the Danube and amazing meals at recommended restaurants. The leaders, accommodations, and experience far exceeded our expectations.

    • Sasa Tour Guide and Andro the driver were great. They took care of the group with their jovial attitude and ensured that individual's needs were met. They provided easy to follow directions and kept the group together. There were occasions when things would have gone wrong but Sasa and Andro ensured that they are there on every step along the way to make it trouble-free and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend intrepid tours and would consider future tours through Intrepid.

    • We had an overall great time, with a couple of hiccups. The driver who was supposed to pick us up at the airport left without and the company refused to reimburse us for the taxi. The hotel in Vienna was worse than a youth hostel forcing us to move to the Hilton, thank God for my points. The tours arranged were very good and other than the two issues raised everything else was great.

    • It was an amazing trip. The only recommendation I have for this trip is that is was a little confusing at the train stations. The drop off drivers should tell the people what level of the train station to go to and to find the RIGIOJET lounge. Some of the people we were touring with almost got lost. I had to go find them and steer them the right direction.

    • As a first time ‘ bus tour’ traveller but seasoned traveller, I found the experience somewhat disappointing. There was no real ‘Welcome’ other than a paper posted on a board in the lobby, the tour seemed quite disorganized, and there was very little time available to walkabout the cities. More ‘walking and guided’ portions would have been preferable. Not sure that I would take another bus trip especially with Europamundo. Thankyou

    • Thank you to tourradar for making trip happen. I definitely like to eco with other review that it's not 6 days tour, it false advertising. After city tour in vienna, we were dropped of city to make our way back to hotel on your own expenses. Usually they pick up after few hour at certain point if cant make to the pick point it's understandable. Hotel is Prague was disgusting, there was mold in bathroom. It doesnt matter how many stars it is,

    • Loved the weekend in Prague. My buddy and I did it in December when there was Christmas markets going on. Really cool time to be there and Prague is just a super cool, beautiful city. Guide and tours were good as was the boat cruise and then especially the beer tour they include with pilsner tasting (included). We booked the private hotel room option and it was centrally located and comfortable.

    • Enjoyed the trip. I did not like receiving the itinerary in multiple emails or three days before departure. I am a planner and prefer to have things ahead of schedule. Overall good trip

    • Buyer beware. A friend and I booked the Prague, Vienna, Budapest tour for December 2023. We planned for months and noted from other reviewers, that many not-to-be-missed sights were either optional experiences for extra money or not included at all. A half day excursion to another city was switched a month before the trip causing us to scrap careful plans for the other half day. Our reception in Prague consisted mostly of the tour director giving information in a crowded and noisy hotel lobby while other guests checked in. We were told we needed to decide on upcoming optional experiences that evening. We asked about seeing St. Vitus Cathedral and we were told that it had been closed for several weeks. We looked into it ourselves. Turned out it was open and had been although we had to purchase our own tickets. Dinner out was delicious. The next morning, the optional boat trip for the afternoon was cancelled. Turns out, a certain number of people have to sign up to go so anyone who was interested in that would have to scramble and figure it out on their own at the last minute. At the palace complex, we were turned over to a local guide. It was a very crowded and snowy Saturday morning with hundreds milling around the area. Our guide proceeded to flip up his dark hood and walk through all the tourists without a backward glance as we tried to keep up. It was difficult to hear him on our radios. He expressed irritation when we said we couldn’t easily see where he went and dismissed our suggestion that he could have a tall Trafalgar sign for us to follow. The “tour” only consisted of walking around outside for about 30-40 minutes as he gave information. We never entered any of the historic buildings/cathedral which is the highlight of Prague. We stayed behind the group to use our purchased tickets to access all of the sights. St. Vitus was gorgeous. Unfortunately, inside a different building, I fell on the slippery floor, dislocated and broke my wrist. I had to go by ambulance to the hospital. The tour director came for a short while but doesn’t speak Czech so he left while I dealt with staff and medical procedures. The next day, the tour group went to Germany for the day while we spent hours trying to figure out how to get home so I could see a specialist. Since we had booked our airline tickets, we were on our own to make all travel arrangements. Hotel staff were marvelous and helped me find a doctor who could come to the hotel to prescribe pain meds and we flew home the next day. Thankfully we did buy the travel insurance. We decided that since we had already done so much research, we would try the Christmas markets in Vienna and Budapest again this December. But after such a disappointing experience, we are not definitely not doing this or any other tour with Trafalgar!

    • We recently completed a 7 day tour. Our guide was Paul and our driver was Jimmy. It was an excellent tour. Paul was very informative. Jimmy was a great driver and second chair to Paul. The local guides were great. It was nice having the same guide the entire time we were in a given city. The only issues I have were outside our guides control. Our welcome dinner service was VERY slow given the tour group were the only ones on the restaurant. We also were not given enough time to explore. That was also my fault because I went on all the optional experiences. If you go don't miss the concert in Vienna or the Budapest parliament building tour. Both amazing. I really do want to give a shout out to Paul. I don't know how he can herd all the "cats" and still have a smile on his face! He managed to not lose anyone. This was our second trip with Trafalgar and we will be planning another one.

    • Overall, it was a good trip. However, the explanation on the ship was bilingual in Spanish and English, but mostly Spanish. Thus, not much introduction when passing towns and cities along the Danube River was given. The food quality is ok but not too many selections. With the price, I think it is reasonable. The cabin is comfortable enough. We enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly.

    • Crew were excellent, locations to disembark all great. Food good with excellent service, the overall organisation of the tour was very good. The room service very good with the quality of the rooms good. Overall for us this was a great experience.

    • The Iron Curtain Tour was really well organized and the cities were beautiful! I got along well with our tour leader, who got us to each destination on time and made great restaurant recommendations. Our group took walking tours in every city (things were starting to shut down because of the virus) and enjoyed experiencing a taste of central / Eastern Europe!

    • I did the one week iron curtain tour with Davo and it was the best week of my life. The way euroventure took care of everything took the stress out of solo travelling. Davos knowledge of every country we went to was good as were the activities included and also the pub crawls. It’s a good trip for a week plus you meet some amazing people. Would recommend, cheers Davo and euroventure

    • My recent tour with Czechia-Tours exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Czech Republic was an excellent experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, insightful and immersive. The itinerary took us through Prague and some of the Czech Republic's most breathtaking sites, from the historic charm of Český Krumlov to the beautiful countryside drives. Each location felt like a step back in time, made all the more captivating by our knowledgeable guide, who provided fascinating historical insights and was always ready to answer questions. It was a good mix of urban and country experiences. I was also guided well about how to navigate the excellent public transport system in Prague on my own. What I particularly appreciated about Czechia-Tours was their attention to detail. Every aspect of the tour—from transportation and accommodation to vegetarian meal recommendations and free time for personal exploration—was thoughtfully planned to make the journey smooth and enjoyable. They made sure I had ample time to soak in each site's beauty without feeling rushed, which made the experience much more fulfilling. Our conversations during the long drives were also very informative. Czechia-Tours goes above and beyond to make sure their guests feel well-cared for, and I left each destination with a deeper appreciation for Czech history, culture, and architecture. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Czech Republic in an enriching, stress-free way. Thank you, Filip and Marek from Czechia-Tours, for a trip that I will cherish for years to come!

    • Marek and Filip did a very good job of showing us the highlights of Czechia. The tour was relaxed, they did all that could be expected to accommodate the interests of all members of the group and gave us a personal insight into the country. We would recommend this tour.

    • Holiday to Budapest-Vienna-Prague Holiday to Budapest-Vienna-Prague WhatsApp communication was easy to use and Hannah & Rose Amanda sent daily reminders and responded to any queries in a friendly, timely fashion. More information as to where to go to meet taxis at the train stations would be the only improvement. Great hotel choices easily walkable to the city centre. Prague hotel even offered free complimentary city pass and drink in a roof top bar of a sister hotel. Both boat tours included in the tour were great but the underground tour in Prague was a waste of time - better to replace with a castle tour. Thanks for a great holiday!

    • This trip was an absolute dream come true, filled with rich history, warm people, and mouthwatering cuisine. From start to finish, every moment was 5 star. One of the most cherished aspects of this journey was the interactions with locals. Everywhere I went, I was met with warm smiles, and genuine conversations. Thank you Eri and Choose Balkans

    • Too many optional trips all with additional costs. Itinerary itself was marketed really well but hidden under the false pretence that most sights were included, were in fact not. Also the accommodation was less than average. Some hotels like the one in Budapest and in Rome were 2-3 stars, not 4 stars as was advertised by Insight vacations.

    • Disappointing Experience with Wingbuddy and CroisiEurope’s "Jewels of the Danube" River Cruise (Sept 25 - Oct 4, 2024) Unfortunately, this was one of the worst cruises we have ever taken. I strongly recommend thoroughly reading reviews before booking any trip with Wingbuddy, a travel agency based in Montreal, Canada. While their official website shows only 4-5 star ratings, our experience was far from that. We booked our trip well in advance in February 2024, which included flights, transportation, and hotel stays before and after the cruise. We paid 50% upfront. The day after booking, Wingbuddy sent our Air Canada flight tickets—without baggage included. This meant that each checked bag would cost us $85 per person for both the outbound and return flights. When I asked to cancel the package and receive a refund, I was informed it was impossible because the tickets had already been issued, despite Air Canada allowing refunds up to 24 hours before the flight. Their trip description says not including any baggage for a transatlantic flight ?! There was no intention to fight. A few weeks before the trip, Eastern Europe experienced flooding. Wingbuddy sent us the embarkation voucher and hotel/transportation information, but there was no mention of any disruptions. Only two hours before leaving for the airport in Toronto did we receive an "urgent" email informing us that the itinerary had changed. Instead of embarking in Vienna as planned, we would have to take a bus to Budapest, with the ship being replaced the following day. This meant we spent the second day of our trip on a four-hour bus ride to a hotel in Budapest, and then another bus trip the next day to a Hungarian village, only boarding the ship late in the evening. Two days of our cruise were lost. We were fortunate the cruise happened at all—previous groups on the same itinerary had spent 9 days traveling by bus with just one day on the ship. Wingbuddy clearly knew about the situation well in advance and failed to notify customers, depriving us of the opportunity to cancel or reschedule. Their lack of transparency and communication is deeply concerning. As for CroisiEurope, the cruise company, we were equally disappointed. Overall very poor customer service. Very non-caring, rigid. Food overall was unhealthy , especially the breakfast. The ship itself was in bad condition, with dirty carpets throughout and outdated furniture. I cannot recommend CroisiEurope; you're better off spending a little more for a higher-quality cruise experience. The only positive aspect of the trip was the transportation, as the drivers were punctual and provided good service. In conclusion, Wingbuddy's lack of transparency and communication, combined with CroisiEurope's non-quality service, made for a highly disappointing trip. Their primary focus seems to be on securing payments, with little regard for customer satisfaction or the quality of the experience. I would advise potential travelers to be cautious and consider other options.
