Staff were good. Cabin on lower deck had mould in bathroom and wet carpet near the beds Changed cabins twice on same deck no improvement. No upgrade available ship full. Would never sail on MS Fidelio again and would not recommend. Cabins like these cause health problems and should not be sold to anyone. Very sub standard we felt unwell and coughed a lot when in these cabins. We couldn’t wait to get off.
- by Janine stokesWe did not leave from Turnu Magurele but from Vidin. A horrible 5 1/2hr bus ride from Bucharest in the rain. Both rest stops were at Service Stations where toilets were revolting! Arriving at the ship(in the rain- no umbrellas, poor lighting & uneven ground - very dangerous) we were given our room keys (they had me in the cabin with my cousin & this was not changed throughout the trip) and told to go to the dining room for dinner at our assigned table. We ate at 11pm! Next morning spoke to the Augustin, Tour Manager about our package. He rudely told me we were only entitled to 4 English speaking tours and none of the special tours. Crucemundo completely misled us and others. We were given no satisfactory explanation why the change of departure port and feel the tour refund was a con. Then asked why we had to sit at the same table the whole cruise and was told they were the rules. Felt like I was in boarding school. Decided I had to put this rude Manager aside and try and enjoy the Cruise that I had dreamt about for a long time. With 3 tour groups being Augustin's main focus we were made to feel like hangers on. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room (and others) only blew out air no cooling and it was very dirty. Most days we had stink bugs (shield Bugs) in our room. They came from the ceiling cavity. Entertainment a bit poor - asked for tips so assume Crucemundo poorly paid them. The staff were exceptional for their service and friendliness. To sum up we will never take a cruise with Crucemundo again.

We loved the river cruise experience
- by Ilene LittleDisappointing Experience with Wingbuddy and CroisiEurope’s "Jewels of the Danube" River Cruise (Sept 25 - Oct 4, 2024) Unfortunately, this was one of the worst cruises we have ever taken. I strongly recommend thoroughly reading reviews before booking any trip with Wingbuddy, a travel agency based in Montreal, Canada. While their official website shows only 4-5 star ratings, our experience was far from that. We booked our trip well in advance in February 2024, which included flights, transportation, and hotel stays before and after the cruise. We paid 50% upfront. The day after booking, Wingbuddy sent our Air Canada flight tickets—without baggage included. This meant that each checked bag would cost us $85 per person for both the outbound and return flights. When I asked to cancel the package and receive a refund, I was informed it was impossible because the tickets had already been issued, despite Air Canada allowing refunds up to 24 hours before the flight. Their trip description says not including any baggage for a transatlantic flight ?! There was no intention to fight. A few weeks before the trip, Eastern Europe experienced flooding. Wingbuddy sent us the embarkation voucher and hotel/transportation information, but there was no mention of any disruptions. Only two hours before leaving for the airport in Toronto did we receive an "urgent" email informing us that the itinerary had changed. Instead of embarking in Vienna as planned, we would have to take a bus to Budapest, with the ship being replaced the following day. This meant we spent the second day of our trip on a four-hour bus ride to a hotel in Budapest, and then another bus trip the next day to a Hungarian village, only boarding the ship late in the evening. Two days of our cruise were lost. We were fortunate the cruise happened at all—previous groups on the same itinerary had spent 9 days traveling by bus with just one day on the ship. Wingbuddy clearly knew about the situation well in advance and failed to notify customers, depriving us of the opportunity to cancel or reschedule. Their lack of transparency and communication is deeply concerning. As for CroisiEurope, the cruise company, we were equally disappointed. Overall very poor customer service. Very non-caring, rigid. Food overall was unhealthy , especially the breakfast. The ship itself was in bad condition, with dirty carpets throughout and outdated furniture. I cannot recommend CroisiEurope; you're better off spending a little more for a higher-quality cruise experience. The only positive aspect of the trip was the transportation, as the drivers were punctual and provided good service. In conclusion, Wingbuddy's lack of transparency and communication, combined with CroisiEurope's non-quality service, made for a highly disappointing trip. Their primary focus seems to be on securing payments, with little regard for customer satisfaction or the quality of the experience. I would advise potential travelers to be cautious and consider other options.

Tour advertised as 6-day tour but in fact the first day we were provided with hotel accommodation only. The second day was largely free time as well. Pre-accommodation in Budapest was difficult to organise having been provided with the name of our hotel only a few weeks before departure. As we arrived in Budapest a few days prior to the commencement of the tour, by the time we were advised of the name of our hotel, it was completely booked and we were forced to find alternate accommodation. Discussions with other travellers (who booked with Globus) advised their cost was lower than ours by quite a substantial amount - plus, they were provided with higher level accommodation on the boat. So, for us, TourRadar seems like an overpriced broker and we would not choose to deal with TourRadar again. The boat trip was really enjoyable, great food, great staff and the room perfectly satisfactory.
- by Annette WilsonAlthough we did not actually do the river cruise because of high water levels, we were taken on excursions by coach.

Good itinerary and excellent crew on the ship. The ship would benefit from a lift between decks and a small quiet public area.

Needs different cuisines for food on the cruise like Asian Thai Mexican Indian To complement local cuisines offered. More breakfast buffet options required More vegetarian options too Ship was excellent and staff impeccable Everything else was up to the mark.
- by Amit SabharwalTour ran late from second day and got worse from there. Scenic offered to compensate passengers under their "guarantee". Since then, Scenic has concocted excuse after excuse to delay our promised refund. Be very wary of travelling with Scenic. We have travelled with Scenic previously, on river cruises and road tours. They used to live up to their claim as the premium operator. Not anymore. Prices remain high but standards and quality have been dropped.

Really enjoyed the cruise. The food was exceptional, the excursions fun and enlightening and the entire crew was exceptional, fun, and professional. Bully for the Captain and Hotel Manager for setting the tone onboard. The Amabella experience must be the best! P.S. Cruise Manager Stefan is is star.
- by Warren KingsburyWe did not make the trip. I am waiting for the email that you are supposed to send for us to use next year.

Tour radar had me so confused I ended up booking 2 days extra. The communication was pitiful. The ship was fine. Good food, except breakfast. The crew were wonderful

Ship was good. Help was exceptional onboard ship. Kudos to Amadeus. Tour leader was knowledgeable but curt on numerous occasions to some individuals. She tends to be impatient.
- by Catherine LaVerne HannanWe've used Collette now for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed in any of my trips with them. We had planned to go to Italy and South Africa in 2020. Due to Covid-19 both of these trips were cancelled. Collette REFUNDED 100% of our money, they even refunded the insurance! This is unheard of in most of the travel industry. THANK YOU, Collette for taking care of us through the years and also for doing the "right" things always! Collette is the best!

Would not recommend to a single person. Two days in a row the tours we booked were cancelled. Both trips were in my top three reasons to take this cruise, so am extremely angry. Furthermore, the trip to the Bavarian Forest was cancelled on the basis of A SINGLE PART of the tour being closed. The woman in charge of the activities on the Emerald Destiny should be fired over her handling of that situation. Additionally, none of the Christmas markets, the main advertised feature of the cruise, were open! The food was also awful. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Although I'm not usually a big fan of cycling, this Danube bike tour in Austria changed my mind! The combination of bike and boat was perfect for me, as I could always retreat to the comfortable boat after a day on the bike. The scenery along the Danube was simply breathtaking and the food on the boat was also super delicious. I would recommend this trip to anyone who likes to be active and explore new places.
- by LeifMy partner and I had a wonderful time on this Danube bike tour in Austria! The combination of bike and boat was a great way to explore the countryside along the Danube without it being too strenuous. The staff on the boat was very friendly and the food was super tasty. We also met some other nice people that were on the trip. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to bike and explore new places.
