I had an amazing time. The ship was clean and well run; the itinerary was well done with great excursions; and the food was amazing. This was a great value and I really appreciate all on the staff that made my stay amazing. Jessica and Mohamed lead their departments expertly.

Crew were brilliant, Cruise Director too. Facilities were good. Accessibility good. Settling the bill was challenging, account is in the credit so a simple deduction from my final bill would of solved the problem but no. Now I sit with having to chase refunds.

The New Year in Holland and the Romantic Rhine (port to port) was a lovely cruise. My husband and I were very happy with the staff, the cruise itself and the places we visited. It was relaxing and informative. The food was wonderful and varied and well presented. We did not have to do anything, the staff greeted us on arrival and took our bags to the cabin, and took our bags to the taxi on departure. We had a great time.

The cuisine, the food and the service were excellent! The route was good, the information that there is no possibility to reach the city on your own at the landing place Rastatt was missing. There was a bus stop on site, but unfortunately no bus came! The excursion on offer was very expensive. The excursion to Rüdesheim with a visit to the vineyards and wine tasting was a joke! Serving the wine in shot glasses and a dry, small pretzel at the wine tasting is not possible! Not a sip of water, nothing else for the price, really a joke! It would have been nice to at least get out and taste the grapes in the vineyard. The musical instrument museum was interesting. Perhaps the information was given in French, there was no information in German! Our German-speaking translator translated in 1 minute what was said in French for 10 minutes.

ship was excellent, food and drinks were great, adventures perfectly organized,all crew members were extremely friendly and helpful. One person was outstanding and needs to be mentioned: our cruise director GAYLE. She was just outstanding and the best we ever experienced.

This was our first cruise and we enjoyed it very much. The ship was immaculate, the staff was lovely, and the food was really good. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to others.

I've been on three Amawaterways ship and the cruise experience has not failed me a bit. Am recommending it to more friends.

I am rating this as Good. All went well on the trip - not as many markets open as some closed before we got there or were not open that day we were there. The surprise outside the door was a bit underwhelming - gigantic item to put into luggage already full of purchases - would have been better to have smaller and easier to pack. The staff was excellent and friendly. A last minute change on Covid testing caused some frustration and I felt like the ball dropped on helping the customer. Cologne for 3day prior to flying testing had to change to Amsterdam 24hr testing. We were told this and basically was said you have to do it we are not doing anything now there is a QR code. I felt like - we are done with you now - your problem not ours. I figured out the QR code but then a list of 15 locations came up - some were 20 miles away some 8 miles. I finally went to the Cruise Director and said - "okay which one of these do we pick that is closest walking distance from the ship"? At least he figured it out which took a bit of time. A map to the area would have helped as it took 4 of us over 45 minutes to finally find the testing site. At least we got it done - and had 3 hrs to look around after before the 5pm curfew started on Amsterdam. Other than those few things the trip was nice. First time on Ama and probably will use my other lines instead - far more customer friendly in getting you taken care of with testing etc. But it was a nice trip.

We didn’t Travel with a Tour company, but this. Seems to be the only way i can write a review. We booked through TourRadar but travelled as a group of 6 friends. The Cruise from Basel in Switzerland to Amsterdam was very good and the Crucevita Cruise ship and staff were very good. Food was excellent, Rooms clean, Staff very friendly and accomodating would recommend to anyone who is thinking about his tour.

We had a lovely trip and thought the staff were excellent and looked after us very well. Sabrina was an excellent cruise Coordinator very organised. Would thoroughly recommend your company to friends and family.

We cruised in Amedeus Riva from 28/11/24 to 4/1/25. This is our 3rd time on Luftner Cruises and we absolutely love it every time.

The Emerald Website would not allow for early flight dates to be entered when needing a transfer from the airport in Amsterdam. We were forced by Emerald's website to put in the sailing date as our arrival in Amsterdam. I contacted Emerald directly to attempt to reschedule the transfer from the airport to the ship, and was informed that they would not change the time of the transfer to earlier in the day. I then asked to speak to a supervisor to express my issue. After being on hold for several minutes, I was then told it was my responsibility and that a supervisor would not speak with me.

It was not excellent but good…entertainment lacked they had a girl singing that was one of the bartenders and some bell ringers..tours were good.We had one issue we found out that people that were going to train station had their fare covered and we thought transfer was just to airport.both were 30 mins away from port.some people had their fare covered to train station .we had to pay 75 euro.this we found unfair.food was good and waiters were exceptional but rest of staff mainly cruise director didn’t go above and beyond.

Y sister and I were very satisfied with the trip. Excellent t food, and good entertainment. Very good value for the price.

What we missed: other travel companies offered a mini all inclusive, where the drinks with the meal were included. In addition, I was not offered advance booking of the excursions either in Nedtz or when booking by telephone. This was probably also the case with other providers and since hardly any excursions were booked, they were canceled. We didn't think that was so good. Otherwise the restaurant, service and cabin were great Margret Radermacher

Well looked after all the way around...attention to detail requests were attended to with pleasure. Interesting stops along the way...great information on the tours. Very well organised. Loved the food and the whole experience

The ship was in good shape, except for the fact that the elevator broke after the first day of the cruise and it was out for the rest of the cruise. The staff on board was excellent as was the food. It would have been nice to have had more local Dutch dishes included in the menu. The big disappointment was the availability and quality of the excursions. Two of the excursions that we asked to go on were unavailable. One of them was the Ann Frank House. The activity director explained that tickets had been ordered months in advance and that more were not available. He also said that only 14 were available at the start of the cruise. The Ann Frank House is a major attraction; and with 84 guests on the ship, it should have been clear in advance that more tickets would be needed. The trips that were available were poorly planned, with very long bus rides to have very short time at disappointing attractions. The guide for our trip to see windmills took us to cheese making and wooden shoe making demonstrations, which were interesting. However, she then left us to explore the windmills (which were what we came to see) on our own.

April was amazing all the knowledge of the places we visited. A credit to the ship nothing was too much trouble lots of fun. Thank you

Impressed by the work done to get us on board at a very late date. The trip itself was the usual wonderful Scenic Cruise. The two tour guides, Franz and Alec were outstanding and all the personnel on The Opal made the trip wonderful. The Hotels in Switzerland were all top notch. Our tours visiting Castles and Towns were as good as we remembered others from earlier tours. Our admiration and respect for Scenic remains very strong.
