    I really enjoyed my tour, so much to see and do at the three different locations with great accommodations and food. The rafting and elephant safari were my favorites. The only issue I had was on the 6th day, the driver took us on a long (approx. 3.5 mile) uphill hike (along a rocky and sometimes slippery trail) from our hotel through the jungle to the World Peace Stupa. This was not in the posted itinerary and I had no idea where we were going. I was too tired to go to the stupa but had lunch at one of the cafes at the top of the hill and took a cab back to the hotel. Given the high heat and humidity that day, had I been informed of the distance and difficulty of the hike, I would have opted out. The rest of the trip was fantastic, a wonderful experience.

    Everything went smoothly and Achut was always in touch and met up everyday. KK the guide in Kathmandu was nice and friendly, gave all information patiently. Cado, the guide in Bhutan was wonderful, very efficient and professional. Accomodation and food in Bhutan was very good. No problems at all in Kathmandu either. Transport was good. I highly recommend Manakamana Treks to anyone who is interested in this itinerary.

    I completed the Everest Region 3 High Passes Trek in Oct/Nov 23, it marks the 8th trek ive booked with Manakamana Treks and Expeditions over the past 20 years. There is no other company I would use when travelling to Nepal. Achut is a remarkable person, he takes the time to understand what i want to experience and what id like the outcome to be, and then tailors his approach. He makes the whole process easy and seamless. Even when i change my mind at the last minute, as happened with this trip. Due to some personal circumstances, I had to cancel a trek to Makalu and wasnt sure which trek to do instead. Achut, knowing what I like and my capabilities suggested that I tackle the Solukhumbu 3 High Passes Trek, start from Jiri, and for me to trek clockwise instead of the more traditional anti-clockwise direction that this trek is normally done. He was 100% correct with his advice. Starting from Jiri, and spending 8 days trekking in the foothills, making my way to Namche Bazar, i gained fitness and more importantly spend time gradually above 3000m acclimatising. By the time I hit the first of the high passes, Renjo La, it was tough and I had the fitness to get through. The trek was wonderful, so many moments of 'awe'. More than that, Achut organised a wonderful guide, Subai, who looked after me over the 3 weeks...great sense of humour and by the end of the trek we had become good friends. I highly recommend Manakamana Treks and Expeditions - It's personalised service, competitive pricing and you have something that no other company has - Achut.
