- JJenny· April 12th, 2024We did the 7-day Ghorepani Poon Hill trek with Outfitter Nepal Treks and had the time of our lives! From the beginning to the end, the communication, organization and service was top level standard. We were lucky enough to have the most experienced guide and porter with us. Ravi, our guide, had 27 years of experience and could tell us everything about the trek, Nepali culture and history. He always organized the best rooms with the best views for us, was extremely attentive and customised the itinerary 100% to our wishes and fitness level. Bim, our porter, was super friendly, always greeted us with a big smile and helped us with everything we (didnt know) we needed. Overall, the level of service was much higher than we expected and than most other guides/porters provided. The trek itself was absolutely stunning, with unforgettable views of Annapurna and surrounding mountains. The Rhododendron forests in full blossom and the sunrise on Poon Hill were mesmerizing. We can fully recommend to book with Outfitter Nepal and ask for these 2 amazing guys to accompany you!Show moreTrip date: April 2024
- RRick· October 27th, 2019We mainly had Sudip for our guide on this trip and he was excellent going out of his way to ensure everyone on the trip was comfortable and accommodated for...is one of the best holidays of my life. I will book ABC in a few years with them and bring my son with me. We had a group of 13 Aussies ranging from 30 to 70 yrs old...everyone had a top time and amazing experience.Show moreTrip date: October 2019
- Ken· December 15th, 2018I cannot speak highly enough of Outfitter Nepal. They were very professional in organising our 12 day tour of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, 5 day Annapurna mountain trek and Chitwan National Park. Arjun was very helpful responding to my questions leading up to the trip. Our tour guide, Suraj, was fantastic. The porters did a sterling job carrying our packs on the mountain trek. The mountain trek was a great experience, but it was not for the fainthearted. I strongly recommend doing some hill climbing training beforehand, in particular, stair climbing (up’n’down). The welcome back dinner in Kathmandu was also a very nice surprise. All in all, I would have no hesitation recommending Outfitter Nepal.Show moreTrip date: November 2018
- CCatherineWangmann· December 14th, 2018Stepping out of the KTM airport had us wide eyed, we'd just learnt that our luggage hadn't made it to Nepal and we walked out into a sea of people, with sights and sounds that we have no comparison for. We were met by our tour guide Harry, who soon after had a solid plan to get our luggage to us. Harry was a problem solver from day 1, and he made travelling with our 2 kids easy by organising family rooms at accomodation, or rooms close together where he couldn't. We thoroughly appreciated this. Our team from Outfitter, was one of the highlights of our trip. Rham, our assistant guide, gave me a helping hand on a trek day that i found challenging. And all of the porters greeted us with smiles and were always quick to ask how we were doing. They accepted our boys into their circle and chatted, played games and trekked with them. Great friendships have been made. The beauty of the Annapurna mountains were the right motivation to keep us trekking "up up up" and "down down down" for the next photo opportunity. A trip to Chitwan, got us up close and personal to some big creatures, while staying in a lux hotel, with 2 wonderful local guides. Nepal, her mountains and her people have left a lasting impression on this family, and I'm sure we will be back.Show moreTrip date: November 2018
- JJulia· May 27th, 2018Our tour with Outfitter Nepal was excellent. My husband and I were taken care of from the moment we landed in Nepal to the day we left Nepal. The hotels in Kathmandu and in Pokhara were very comfortable, and the guest houses along the trek were the best available. The meals were all excellent, even on the Trek. Always a wide selection, and always served fresh and warm. Most important was the excellent staff. Arjun was the overall tour operator, and made certain that the overall tour went smoothly for us. Everywhere we went throughout the tour, we were immediately taken care of and never had to wait. We even had made some changes to the dates of the tour, and Arjun was able to flex with our plans without any problems. As part of the tour, we had a very interesting day tour of Kathmandu. The city guides used for the tour were very knowledgeable, very organized, and spoke very clear English. After our stay in Kathmandu, we headed to Pokhara for the Trekking portion of the tour. The trek to Ghorepani was wonderful, and our guide for the Trek, Ravi, was fantastic! Ravi is clearly a professional guide and ensured of our comfort and safety throughout the Trek. Ravi went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time on our Trek! Our porter, Raj was also very nice, and, despite carrying a heavy load, was always positive. It's quite amazing to see the technique of the Porters. Obviously very difficult work. Outfitter Nepal exceeded our expectations. This was our first time to Nepal, and our first trek. Outfitter Nepal took care of everything - enabling us to enjoy our vacation without any worry.Show moreOutfitter Nepal Treks and Expeditions commented on this reviewDear Julia. - PPamelaGerrish· May 21st, 2018We loved our visit to Nepal with Outfitters Nepal.. there was a great mix of everything to introduce us to this amazing country. The trek for us ( 70 year olds!) was a challenge which we really loved and because we could walk and climb at our own pace we accomplished it with no major problems and felt invigorated at the end of each wonderful day. We have returned home with great memories and an enriched understanding of the Nepalese people and the mountainous country they inhabit. We would certainly recommend “ Outfitters Nepal” as a great company to trek and explore with .. we found our guide and our porters excellent, friendly, trustworthy, informative and fun... - KKerry· May 16th, 2018What an amazing trip!! I started emailing with Raj from Outfitter Nepal about 12 months before our trip. He answered all emails quickly and was fantastic in allowing me to personalise our itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble. Raj came to meet us on the day after we arrived in Kathmandu and talked us through our itinerary to check that everything was how it should be. The accommodations provided in Kathmandu and Pokhara were in great locations and were very clean and comfortable. Staff at both accommodations were excellent. Very helpful and polite. Teahouse accommodation on the trek were basic but clean and comfortable. Food provided was great..note though that drinks with meals on the trek are nt included in the price.Out guide, Suraj, and porter were fantastic. Suraj was kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. He was attentive (without being intrusive) and really understood our preference for how we wanted to trek (eg: pace etc) very quickly.Show moreOutfitter Nepal Treks and Expeditions commented on this reviewDear Kerry, thank you for your great and comprehensive Reviews about your Trek with us in Nepal and especially to the Annapurna-Ghorpeani-Poon hill Trek. wish to serve you again in future and have a great days ahead.Trip date: April 2018
- GVGeorge· April 16th, 2018I was impressed on how knowledgeable and friendly the whole crew was. they made the trip a very pleasurable trip. Would I do it again/ Absolutely and with the same outfit.Outfitter Nepal Treks and Expeditions commented on this reviewDear Geroge, Thank for taking your time to review us on Tourradar and it is our great pleasure to know that you have great trek to Annapurna Ghorepani, wish to see you again for further adventure in Nepal. - JDJohn· April 12th, 2018This is a great trip for the money. Just be aware that some of the Tea house do not have a hot shower. The trails are very well maintained but are steep steps. Poles are a must to take pressure off the knees. The other option which is not included which should be is round trip Air from Kathmandu to Pokhara, The included tourist bus takes all day each way is not comfortable. I would recommend for $200 to do a round trip air. Tips for the guides 15% of what you pay for the trip. Please take note they have to provide their own meals along the way so please tip them generously. Make sure you take GOOD rain gear.Show moreOutfitter Nepal Treks and Expeditions commented on this reviewDear John, Thank you for sharing your experience and good to know that you had great trek and we will keep your suggestion in our mind and will offer to our other traveler. thanks and have a good dayTrip date: April 2018
