- M· July 6th, 2024Juno Choi was excellent! He was very helpful and thoughtful. He was always willing to help us in everyday situations. He gave the extra mile all the time!! The only thing I would improve is that I would guide more in the places I visit because I don’t know what I am really looking at in the temples and shrine. We had general information, but I wanted a little more. Maybe a video with general information of the temples or shrines of what we are about to see or that they guide us directly to the spot. They gave us general info on the temple or shrine, but I didn’t know where to go after that.Show moreThe Dragon Trip commented on this reviewHi M. I'm glad to hear Juno was so helpful! - M· July 6th, 2024The tour was good; it had a lot of walking. It is certainly not for people that aren’t physically fit. Something to warn people about, for sure! I truly think you should consider asking a group like ours if they prefer to take all the trains and buses vs taking Uber or Taxi. Sometimes the difference was 100-200 Yen. The group could either pay the difference or you could add it to the price. When you change it to US dollars it is very little and the group could be willing to pay for it. Plus, being underground you don’t see anything, vs being in the taxi you can at least see part of the city. Another thing is that we save time when using the taxi because the transfers sometimes took longer, plus when we were carrying the luggage, it was stressful and strenuous with kids.Show moreThe Dragon Trip commented on this reviewHey M, Thanks for your review of the 12-Day Japan Family Adventure. I apologies if the tour was too physically demanding for you or anyone you travelled with. We always try to make it clear to people who we think might struggle physically that the... - RCRebecca· August 6th, 2023Great trip Our guide, Juno was amazing. The weather was super hot but he managed to keep us comfortable as we moved very quickly on public transport from site to site. Juno always had good well-priced meal suggestions and was super organized and cheerful. The hotels were very good or better. The hotel in Tokyo was noisy because it was near a hospital. A lightweight suitcase, with excellent wheels would be my suggestion for luggage versus a duffle bag Hiroshima was the most moving part of the trip Hakone was the most fun and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We stayed a few extra days to go to Disneyland, and I would recommend staying near Disney property versus downtown Tokyo. We could’ve used a midday break and then return to the park for the evening fireworks but it was super hot and we pooped out before closing.Show moreThe Dragon Trip commented on this reviewThank you so much for this awesome feedback! We're so glad you had an amazing time and hope we can welcome you on an another adventure soon!Trip date: July 2023
