  This tour did not meet my expectations. The tour guide, Omar, was quite disappointing. He acted more like a bus driver than a guide, as he provided little explanation and simply directed us to locations, telling us to be back at the bus by a certain time. While on the bus, he often just sat there watching videos on his phone. Out of all the hotels, I only found the Wilderness Centre on Night 4 and the Hotel Berjaya Akureyri to be good or unique. The other accommodations were mediocre, and the breakfasts were disappointing. Additionally, I was not impressed with the communication from Arctic Adventures. Most companies send a detailed itinerary via email, including hotel pick-up times and other important details, but I had to request all of this information myself. Overall, I would not choose Arctic Adventures again.

  It was okay but rainy all days. So I could not watch Northern Lights. The Northern light tour by boat was cancelled on 3rd of November because of rain so I rescheduled the tour on 10th of November but that rescheduled tour also cancelled, The other Northern Lights tour by minibus on 9th of November was also cancelled due to raining. Arctic Adventure told me TOURRADAR will give me a full refund for the cancelled two Northern Lights Tours. Please let me know How I receive the refund.

  This was a trip of a lifetime! Iceland is a country that for sure we will come back to. Our tour guide Þröstur possessed a wealth of knowledge about the country and its history, captivating us with fantastic stories that kept us wide awake during our drives. No one wanted to nap for fear of missing out on a wonderful tale. He was friendly and went out of his way to ensure our happiness, making this trip even better.

  The trip was amazing and Al, our guide was excellent! Most of the accommodations were fine, however one place was a little sketchy, but since we only spent one night at each place it wasn't that big of a deal.

  The itinerary was good, though we could have fewer waterfalls. The guide was nice, but it was really difficult to understand his English. Though I come from Singapore, a country where all kinds of accents can be heard, I could understand only a third of what he said. The first 2 days I invested a lot of effort tp try to understand him. Afterwards, I gave up. Apparently, I was not the only one in the group to have this problem. Good point : the wifi in the bus.

  We had a fantastic time touring around Iceland! Our driver and guide Marie was so funny and informative. I highly recommend this tour if you are traveling alone but want company or if you are not sure about seeing sites on your own. One piece of advice is to pack light. Debbie

  A fantastic once in a lifetime experience for our family of 6 (aged 14 to 58). The tour was comprehensive and the hotels and food were great. We were all well catered for. Our guide Vjeran could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable or fun. Our safety was his No.1 priority at all times. Yes, the itinerary changes according to the weather/conditions and while there is no guarantee that you’ll see whales or the northern lights, we were fortunate to see both! Visiting Iceland and seeing the northern lights was on our bucket list. The natural beauty is outstanding. A must see. Thank you Arctic Adventures and Vjeran for helping make our travel dreams come true.

  I am currently on the, 8 day Ultimate Iceland tour which is not listed to select. The itinerary currently on your website is very inaccurate in what is happening each day and where we are staying. It does mention some different options for summer and winter however many activities listed I have no idea whether they are happening. Also the daily itinerary is not being followed in any way so it's very hard to know what is going to be seen/done and you are reliant on the guide. There is no point putting out an itinerary if it is irrelevant. The quality of the first two hotels was good however last night's was not. Twin rooms were extremely tiny and it was hard to find space to open two suitcases. Bathroom extremely small. Breakfast mediocre. What we are seeing is good however day one was very long and today being day 3 is virtually nothing to see until later today at baths which is listed on itinerary for tomorrow. A couple of photo stops and service stops - the lunch one closed!
