They guided us very professionally throughout the trip: from the initial briefing to the hardest parts of the trek, there was always someone to answer our questions or offer a helping hand. After the trek we also booked a Chitwan Jungle Safari and an extra guided tour day through Kathmandu Valley spontaneously with Himalaya Sanctuary Adventure. Gary· April 2nd, 2022Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure provided my family with the greatest experience of trekking to Everest Base Camp, over Chola pass, to Gokyo Lakes, up Gokyo Ri, and back to Lukla. They provided us with an excellent guide and an amazing porter. They became like family on our trek. Although we did not have a plan when we arrived in Kathmandu, our hotel (Himalayan Ghar) set us up. The staff at the Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure suggested various itineraries. They never pushed an agenda on us, instead they met with us on 3 different occasions for at least an hour each day to help answer our questions about the different treks. Their expertise was valuable. Once we started hiking, the guide and porter was there for whatever we needed. They were great liaisons with the teahouses and other guides and porters. I can't imagine doing it without their help. The guide provided us with information about the local culture we saw along the way. They recommended times we should start in the morning to reach our destination, and they recommended ideal places to stay.
