  My husband & I did the EBC trek + Chola pass to Gokyo over 15 days. We had an amazing time and are very happy that we went with Nepalgram. Prior to arrival, they responded swiftly to emails and answered any questions that we had. They sorted out domestic flights and rebookings when bad weather caused us to miss our first flight out of Kathmandu to Lukla. Ashok’s mum graciously allowed us to stay in her guest room for that night, so that we would be able to make the alternative transport early the next morning. Our guide and porter were the best and we enjoyed their company and knowledge of all the geography throughout the trip. The experience our guide has is impressive and the itinerary & pace of the whole trek was well planned. We had the absolute best time and would recommend going with Nepalgram!

  Nepal and Mt. Everest base camp trip was definitely one that was on the “bucket list”. I’m so glad to have done it and Arun just made the trip to even more better. Arun was very helpful and knowledgeable. Looking forward to the next trip!

  I Travelled from Scotland in the united Kingdom to Nepal last month as part of a group of students from our local college. we seen many of the beautiful temples while there and then were taken on the everest trek we were guided brilliantly by Arun and a team of sherpas whos knowledge , enthusiasm and friendship made it the trip of a lifetime . they guided us very safely at all times up and down some of the most challenging yet stunningly beautiful mountainside i have ever seen. we were even lucky enough to be taken to spend some time in Aruns home village of Chake where we helped with the village school and met all the wonderful children i was lucky enough to be given a room in aruns own family house. Arun will without doubt look after all your needs on any trip nothing is to much bother for him.

  I went to Everest Base Camp with Arun as my guide and it was one of the best trips of my life. Arun is extremely knowledgeable about the region and culture and besides seeing the beautiful landscape, I really learned a lot. All lodging was taken care of and anything that was needed was handled immediately by our guides. I was constantly being asked how I felt, if I needed anything, and sometimes just got words of encouragement when I needed it (mostly towards the end when I was cold and tired!). I highly recommend Nepalgram! P.S. I was a solo traveler and even though I did make friends, I would have never felt left out thanks to my guide.

  I did the 16 day tour to the EBC, then via the Cho-La pass into the Gokyo valley in November 2017 with Arun as our guide. We were seven in the group and I can only recommend Arun to it’s very best. He could answer every question und had a great knowledge about the region. As we reached 4000m my stomach got pretty bad, because of the altitude. Arun looked after me and had the right tips to let me continue with the trek. Besides his trekking knowledge Arun has an amazing understanding of people and kept the group together even in the moments where the physical and mental exhaustion took over. Furthermore Arun has a great relationship with the porters and the operator of the tea houses(the places, where you sleep). To conclude, I can only recommend Arun and his agency to its very best to everyone who wants an amazing experience in the Himalaya und support local people.

  I have recently done trekking in the Everest region and it easily ranks among the best experiences of my life and that mainly thanks to Arun as the tour guide. The views along the trek are spectacular with new highlights every day. But during such a trip many things can go wrong that eventually will spoil your experience, so I really counted my blessings getting Arun as my guide, as he managed and handled everything perfectly: Organising the trip, getting prepared in Kathmandu, flying in and out of Lukla, finding accomondations along the trek; you name it, But most importantly when trekking together for multiple weeks, Arun was just a great companion. Very knowledgeable of the mountains and the culture, as well as always down for a good chat or a game of cards. So trekking in the Himalayas is a highlight by itself, but when booked through Arun, I cannot recommend it enough!

  Recommended to Everyone I did Gokyo Trek with Nepalgram. I had great time with our guide Sandeep, his knowledge about the trek was great, he seems like knowing all people in the trail that made me comfortable. At the end of the trek we became friends and he took me to his home in village. Nepalgram well managed all the situation, Dzongla was bit crazy with accommodation and many people but the pass was stunning. We got the great view, but be ready for the cold and start early for the pass. After noon other side of the pass might be windy. Arun is prompt to the emails and he was calling our guide during the trekking and asking about us, that was nice. I recommend this company for professional service in a friendly environment.

  Everest base camp Chola pass in Monsoon I signed up for Everest Base Camp trekking and Chola pass with two other people in the group. Trekking was scenic and the weather was fair enough. I had a very lovely time with our guide Arun, who not only guided on the trek but also showed me small details in the countryside (flora and fauna) that I wouldn’t normally have noticed. Trail was nice with all those flowers. Our guide and porter Saila, took care about food to accommodation; we were asked to start trek early in the morning to catch the view of mountains before clouds comes in, incredible idea of Arun. I booked the the trek in July/August 2018 which is monsoon in Nepal, meant that the views were more cloudy but we had the mountains and paths to ourselves! The briefing and meeting with Arun in Kathmandu before we started was helpful and the kits provided were very useful. I always felt safe with our guide and everything felt well organized. All in all, I would highly recommend the Nepalgram for Himalayan trekking and sightseeing tour.
