- MCMichael· August 2nd, 2024All but one of the hotels were anything but subpar. rooms were ancient and just plain ratty. We asked to upgrade our car to a larger one because we had golf clubs, and they wanted to charge an additional $1,400 on top of what we already paid. We rented another vehicle from Hertz for $750 for the whole trip and they included insurance. TourRadar refused to give us credit for the car they rented. You are better off renting your hotel and car and you will have a much better vacation. The hotel in Edinburg was a flat-out dive! The worst I have ever been in.Show moreIndus Travels commented on this reviewHi Michael, We appreciate your taking time to let us know that you were not happy with the quality of the hotels. We are disappointed that you didnt enjoy the tour to its fullest as this package has always been a popular one. We checked with the local... Show moreTrip date: June 2024
- John· July 18th, 2024Great experience and a thorough and comprehensive trip to highlight the many facets of Scotland's long and storied history. The country was pretty easy to navigate and my family of four enjoyed the freedom of being able to pick and choose the experiences we sought. I must say the rural road of 20 miles to Cally Bridge was a bit of a white knuckler. Overall wonderful trip and I'd recommend it to anyone who is not interested in traveling in a large group by bus.Show moreIndus Travels commented on this reviewSo pleased to read that your family loved your time in Scotland. Its such a wonderful destination with such beauty all around you. And yes, some of those roads can be a bit scary lol.Trip date: July 2024
- GGgary· September 4th, 2023Overall it was a very nice trip, I think it was well laid out for travelingIndus Travels commented on this reviewSo glad you enjoyed your trip to Scotland.Trip date: August 2023
- DHDrew· September 26th, 2022This trip was a wonderful experience! The accommodation with one exception was fantastic! The end stops each day were all very nice. I gave my okay rating because we gleaned more information from our evening hosts than we ever received from Tour Radar. Be aware that It will be very important for you to get your own tour books, figure out a route between stops and obtain all your maps as this information was never provided. The final hotel in Edinburgh where you have two nights, B+B Edinburgh does not have any place to park a car so you will have to pay 4.10 pounds per hour to park on the street. Totally unacceptable to book a hotel that does not have room for the car that is provided. This is a very busy schedule to complete in the time provided so if you get the chance to extend the trip by adding another day in Portee on Skye and perhaps finishing the trip in St. Andrews then returning the car to the import then spending some time in Edinburgh on your own at the end of the trip.Show moreIndus Travels commented on this reviewWe are glad to learn you enjoyed the self drive tour of Scotland. Its true that some "homework" is required when booking a self drive as there are just so many options and possibilities as to how to spend each day. We pick the hotel in Edinburgh for its... - AAnonymous· September 8th, 2022An excellent tour. Excellent hotels and average B&Bs. We did not know that a couple of places were going to have the hotels substituted for B&Bs, The B&B in Inverness was average (although the hosts were lovely people). The Edinburgh B&B was an interesting house, but there was no parking there, so had to park in a car park 20 mins walk away at extra costs (although this was the discounted rate offered by the B&B).Show moreIndus Travels commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback. We will review the Edinburgh hotel location to see if we can find something more suitable for those doing self drive tours. We hope that you have come home with many wonderful memories.Trip date: August 2022
- Clyde· June 14th, 2022B&B’s were okay. Most hosts were friendly. Two B&B’s had shower issues. One no hot water and one was not able to be used cause it would not drain. Communication with Tour Radar was not that great. Received final documents while traveling. Rental car did not have a spare.Show moreTrip date: June 2022
- Colleen· May 10th, 2022Tour operators were quick to answer any questions, hotels booked through tour operator were nice accommodations, rental car agency was friendly and car quality good. Would recommend this tour company and use again in the future.Indus Travels commented on this reviewThanks for your positive feedback about Indus Travels!Trip date: April 2022

- Ssonny_g_sorianoyahoocom· September 9th, 2019I had a nightmare experience with Indus. They stole roughly $1,900 from me and I never got anything from them. Terrible company to deal with. I booked the Classic Scotland trip for me and my wife and we intended arrive earlier and stay longer after the trip. I paid for the whole trip upfront with my credit card. When I asked them for the hotel and itinerary confirmations a week later they didn't have it yet. A week later, they still didn't have it and I was told at that point they will give that two weeks before the package start - which would not work for us because we had to book other hotels on top of that. Long story short, I asked if we could cancel and confirmed that I will not be charged (because I did not want to loose the money) and Tania agreed to cancel and confirmed via chat that I will not be charged. Guess what, after a few weeks, I was indeed charged close to $1,900.00 and they are now denying that they ever agreed to cancel - I have screenshots of the chat, however, and I'm in the process of filing compliants. But the lesson is, this is VERY BAD TRAVEL COMPANY to deal with. Once they have your money, they will make life difficult for you and even lie and steal your money. STAY AWAY.Show moreTrip date: July 2019
