- PRPeter Grant· May 17th, 2024My wife and I are in our 70s. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was well organised and professionally run. Co ordinator Michael and guides Waleed in Cairo, Mansoor on the Nile cruise and Younes in Morocco did an excellent job. The tour itself was very full on. A lot to see and do in limited time, Accommodation at a high standard and food good. Some suggestions. For travellers. If time and budget allow do more than a 3 night cruise. There were so many amazing temples and historic sights that we had very little down time and a succession of early morning starts which made for long days. An extra day or two at Luxor would reduce the need to visit two or three of temples a day to a less tiring level. They are fascinating but involved a lot of walking in 35 degree plus temperatures. Having said that it was still a great tour which fitted in a great deal in a limited time. For the organisers. Scheduling morning tea breaks would have been much appreciated by all the people we toured with. When you start early in the morning lunch around 2.00pm is a long way off. By way of example. In Cairo a visit to a local cafe for tea/coffee/snack after the pyramid visit would allow fluid replenishment and time for reflection on the sheer wonder that is at Giza before going on to the next place. For Marrakech look at adding a desert dinner tour as an optional extra. We did one to the Agafay desert which was well run, well priced and very enjoyable. Much better than sitting in the hotel for the evening. We can recommend this tour and this operator. We got better than we expected all the way through.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
