- DDaniellaDenaroni· October 24th, 2021It was so wonderful to be met by the driver at the airport. Our driver Buddhika happily greeted us with a big smile on his face. He helped us with currency, luggage and had lots of bottled water for us in the van. As we had never been to Sri Lanka before, it was very reassuring to be with a local who knew his way around and could quickly get us on the road towards our first destination without any hassles at all. Buddhika was so kind, thoughtful and a very safe & calm driver. I can't express that enough. His driving skills were flawless. We spent 8 days exploring this incredible country and Buddhika showed us many beautiful places by going beyond our itinerary. If you plan to visit, give yourself 2 weeks minimum. We travelled to Hotel Kandalama from Colombo (Sigiriya Fortress & Dambulla Cave temples), onwards up to the hill country Tea Plantations and into the countryside for Yala National Park and then a few relaxing days in Mirissa beach. We simply cannot wait to go back to Sri Lanka and hire the services of this company again. - BABelal· December 30th, 2018First of all I’d like to thank you for the trip. Overall the trip was nice and I enjoyed it but I want to mention some issues I didn’t like and I have concern about them. First, the most thing I didn’t like is the planning and management of the trip. Actually, I was shocked with some poor planning in some points. For example, the planning for the hotel reservation was trouble. The main reason I booked with you because I was alone and I wanted to be with a group. However, the whole trip I was in a hotel and the other person with me in the trip in different hotel. Only one hotel we were in the same hotel. That was really bad and inconvenient. After we done from the activities we stay in different hotels have no one and nothing to do. The problem we were only two persons in the trip yet you couldn’t put us in the same hotels. Plus, the hotels were like out of cities or nothing around the hotels so I can go out or do something. Moreover, I was told about the hotel names before I started the trip but I was giving different hotels. I was like what a planning. I remember one day I went to the hotel they gave me but at the reception they said I don’t have reservation and I had to wait more than half an hour to provide me with a room and sometimes we had to wait after we checked out in order for the guide to pay like there were no planning. Everything should be done online in advance.I really was shocked with that very poor planning. We wasted a lot of time spending for transportation to pick me and pick the other person, specially last hotel they gave me for two nights the other person was away for more than one hour and half driving. The driver told me it’s because there’s no room but com’n guys there is no hotels that have two rooms??? One in a city and the other person in a completely away like more than one hour and half? Second, I hope you book in good hotels for customers. The first hotel you gave me in Negombo was really bad and I really upset with that kind of hotels. We are not asking about 5 star hotels but we need something clean and good. Third, we enjoyed the activities but I think they were not as planned in the website. Plus I have a concern about the prices we have told. I think they were overpriced and different than the actual price. For example, we have been told that the turtle farm is for $10 while the price for entry is 500 lkr which less than $3, this is what I checked and I don’t know about the rest as I didn’t check them in the beginning. Fourth, I believe the train trip would be nice if we could sit or see the way. The train trip was not really a good idea if we stand up for 3 hours without moving. We spent 3 hours in a very busy train standing in a small spot that we couldn’t even move as we are above each other. I really think it would be nice if we could sit or at least standing in a good space but standing for 3 hours with no air wasn’t really good.
