Back in 1989, two guys from Melbourne, Australia by the names of Darrell and Manch set off on an adventure to the other side of the world. They travelled to Africa and without air conditioning on their modified truck, they filled it with supplies, some beer, a bunch of aviator sunglasses, and...

- ABAdam· November 20th, 2018The Serengeti half of the trip was great. Except there were three bus days where nothing really happened. Some included activities on these days would be great. For the Kilimanjaro part. It was all done in a bit of rush. Was made to feel like I was slowing things down if I stopped for a picture or to have some water. Also, seems to be a lack of concern over health worries. Just being told you're fine is nice, but a bit more of an actual check would have been nice.Show moreTrip date: October 2018
- MDMichelle· October 22nd, 2017An absolute bucket list trip! From pitching tents next to a herd of zebra on the rim of the Ngorogoro crater to the gruelling final push to the Uhuru Peak on summit of Kilimanjaro this trip delivered everything we wanted and more. The guides for both parts of the trip were just outstanding, we've used intrepid a number of times before and while we've loved all the trips this is by far the best one we've been on yet. One word of advice for those wanting to climb Kilimanjaro - it's a beautiful and very achievable climb but the summit push is extremely tough and can be dangerous so listen to the guides!!!! They are the experts and will get you to the summit slowly but safely. You might think you're walking too slowly on the easier parts of the climb but you will thank them at the summit. Thanks to all the team at intrepid for an unforgettable trip!Show moreTrip date: October 2017
- NLNick· August 10th, 2015Our trip to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Chris, Alex, and Nyamo was amazing. Very well run, high-quality tents to sleep in, delicious food, great driving, and an overall great experience. Kilimanjaro with Justaz was unforgettable. We felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Food was very good, the huts were comfortable, the porters were awesome, and the view from the top was great!Show moreTrip date: July 2015
