- AMay· December 7th, 2023highlights of Vietnam were visiting Train Street in the old quarter of Hanoi; tasting chicken noodle soup with the locals in Hanoi; the homestay in the Mekong Delta - cruising the backwaters in wooden canoes was unexpectedly good; visiting a family for afternoon tea was very special. The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh which gave a completely different view of the American War, was well worth seeing. Highlights of Cambodia included the sunset cruise from Phnom Penh. The tours of the temples in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap were intensive but utterly captivating.
