Ashish· October 12th, 2018I have decided in evening at 06:00 pm the night before that I want to join a day tour to Taj Mahal the next day. The next day, the driver showed up at our hotel at 6 am and took me on my journey. Around 4.5 hour car ride from Delhi to Agra, we were met up with our guide of the day - Hussein. Taj Mahal on it’s own is obviously amazing, but what really elevated our experience is our guide Hussein. He is very knowledgeable, speaks good English, passionate about his work and also personable and considerate. He paced the day trip really well. He would tell us that ‘okay if you can bear with me for 10 minutes to go through the story...’ or ‘this is the last time you will see this side of the monument so take your time here for pictures, I will wait for you over here’. Really great at setting the right expectations and at the same time making sure we are taken care of. He also helped us take pictures at the perfect angles (he obviously knows the place very well) and did not overwhelm us with too much information. I spent the day at Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.This was private tour. Wrapped up with lunch at a local restaurant and the driver took us back to the hotel.Show moreTrip date: September 2018
