  We spend 8 days in Egypt and visited Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan. Ramasside team just made us feel welcome and safe. Miss. Afaf was so helpful and supportive in answering all my questions and preparing the tour itinerary before our arrival there. We had a warm welcome in the Cairo Airport and Mr. Mohamed talaat, tour leader made sure everything was perfect and gone well from our arrival till my departure. He assisted us to complete the immigration, customs etc. in the Airport. We felt special from the start. The tour guides who spend with us in all those 8 days; Mr. Kharim (Alexandria), Mr. Ahmed (Aswan), Mr. Mohammad Qenway (Luxor), Mr. Mahmoud Alfekey (Cairo Giza Visit)), Mr. Khalid (Saqqara Visit) were professional and very knowledgeable in their works, spoke English very well and much friendly with us. They explained about the history and importance of the sites visited in simple English. The drivers were also very nice to us, very cooperative and highly smart in driving through hectic traffic. We could see the Egyptian villages in very close while traveling from Aswan to Luxor and last day to Sakkara by road. Also we had the Dinner Cruise on the Nile and experienced the great Egyptian music and dancing. The restaurants and shops visited were just right and good taste. Thanks a lot for having us in this interesting country of Egypt. From the managers on line, to the guides and car drivers, We would highly recommend Rammaside to anyone

  If you are thinking to visit Egypt and have infants and toddlers – get this tour with Ramasside. Our visit was from Nov 17-26 with a superactive toddler (3 yo) and was quite skeptical about the tour. Well hats-off to Mohd Talat – Fatima – Ahmed – Hosni – Rasha – Muhammad – Ibrahim (team Ramasside), who took all the responsibilities right from receiving us from the airport to drop-off and taking care of my son. We were relieved right from the airport where Mohd Talat responsibly worked out for our VISA and transferred us to our hotel (Le Meridien Pyramids Giza) super excited to stay a stone throw distance from the PYRAMIDS!! He was totally awesome and humble to stay connected through all of our travels. Next day our tour began with Fatima, my son and We became fan of her instantly for her charming nature and beautiful guidance. It was wonderful to know that she was studying Egyptology and what better to get a friend like her for the tour of the pyramids and the museum. The best is that it’s a plus when you have a wonderful photographer who would take amazing photos of you !! see some of her shots of us. Her suggestions for the lunch place was amazing sitting right in front of the SPHINX and having lunch with him . We were transferred to Luxor by air the next day and was received by Ahmed from there who would be us for the next four days for the Nile cruise. Oh !! what a memorable person he is .. its hard to let a person go if he becomes so attached to you.. the same thing happened with my son and Ahmed. Words fall short of his professionalism, knowledge and ease of telling wonderful stories, guidance and all above his personal touch. I can go on writing about him and how he catered all our queries at Luxor, West bank, Ramasses statue, valley of kings, Kom ombo, edfu, Hatshepsut, Aswan (the Aswan local market did not had much to offer), Nubian village tour ( was an excellent one) – and to our immense delight he taught us Hieroglyphics (to our own share ) . Some snippets will tell more about Ahmed. With a heavy heart we had to bid good bye to him. For the cruise everything was just perfect except the lunch and dinner (mostly bland to us). We flew back to Cairo from Aswan after our cruising and had a small Islamic and Coptic Cairo tour before checking to our hotel, could have opted out if we had known that it will much walking with our son (he became very tired and cranky). Would have preferred for a walkthrough in Cairo market (we accept that we are shopaholic). Next day we flew to Alexandria (reviewed in the Alexandria trip ) Finally we came back to cairo again (wonderful to come back to the pyramids every time and ended the day with an impressive light and sound show at the pyramids. In our last day with Muhammad, we went to Memphis & Sakkara to see the step and bent pyramids. Muhammad was fabulous and full of info ! loved the way he explained everything by drawing on sands … if you missed to go inside pyramid of Giza (I missed it for my son) … you can take the one in red pyramids this is far less crowded and equally enjoyable (though tiring), we couldn’t go with our toddler. And our tour came to an end with the breathtaking view of the Zoser pyramids and courtyards.. Cheers to Ramasside’s awesome tour planning that we never felt tired and can easily stamp it as one of the most Pampered tour we had.. truly memorable. Few tips: Take enough cash if going for local shopping; bargain enough and possibly avoid places having fixed prices ; Cuisine at Pyramids hotel & spa was awesome !!
