Hotels mostly good, only Jaipur hotel gave us a poor room which had damp up the walls and was dirty. However they gave us another room which was fine. - NENadja· November 15th, 2022Thanks to the driver Manish and his constant personal assistance, care, reliability I had the most wonderful trip ever. Manish is well educated, speaks English fluently, is a great driver on those hectic Indian roads. He does everything in his power to make sure his travelers are having the best time. He will recommend and bring you to restaurants suitable for western stomachs. He knows his way around and he has a broad knowledge of the places of interest. In addition, at every city and tourist places a knowledgeable guide showed me around, providing me with all historical information. A big thank you to all the different tour guides. The only thing that bothered me was that as a single traveler I had to pay almost 40% extra after I had done my bookings and first payment. It was not clearly stated before I did the booking and came as a surprise. My suggestion, make price policy clearer. On top of that I was advised to book dinner for 2 evenings at Ranthambore for the cost of 35 dollars per dinner. Nobody forced me to do this booking but when I realized that of course this is too expensive and not necessary to do, it was too late to change. Later I found out that the buffet, which I can highly recommend cost 1000 rupees which is about 12 dollars. To put it in a nutshell, because of the great service of the driver Manish and all tour guides I can definitely recommend this tour. Varanasi excursion planned the itinerary well and personally I enjoyed the length of 8 days as this way there is time to relax as well. The tour operator checked on me every evening to see if everything went well. The Hotel in Ranthambore was deluxe the other hotels were okay. It was not always quite the standard which I had expected due to the high price I had paid. With this first time tour experience, I will definitely book a tour again but will check in advance what kind of accommodation is included, what hidden extra costs are there and surely no need to book any dinners in advance.Show moreTrip date: November 2022
Matilde· March 5th, 2020I did an 8 day tour with varanasi excursions that included golden triangle, udaipur and mumbai. They told me that in all sightseeing points i would be with an experienced guide, but it wasn´t the case. Actually, the first day the guide didn´t speak english, so I went to the hotel without any activities. Also, I had 2 days in Mumbai. The first day, the guide had a horrible english that I could not understand and he decided to leave, so I continued the tour with the driver, that only speaks a coulple of words in english, and is not a guide. The second day they told me that hiring a guide was too expensive, so I didn´t have a guide either. The hotels were good and the drivers were great, but I was more interested in good guides than in good hotels.Show more

My driver, Bablu, was very good and offered excellent service from start to finish. The guides from each city knew and spoke very good English and provided a lot of interesting detail. In addition, Mohd Kasif checked in to inquire as to my satisfaction several times during the tour, which was greatly appreciated. - TTTracy· October 30th, 2019My tour was wonderful. I got to see so much in my short trip. I was lucky enough to see a tigress at Ranthambore. My guide in Delhi was great. My guide in Jaipur was amazing. He really went above and beyond. My driver was the absolute best. He is such a kind person and great at navigating India’s traffic. My only complaint is my guide in Agra. He said he would give me change when I paid for one of the forts we visited and never did. Additionally, he kept telling me to tip him (which I always do) and seemed unhappy with my tip, despite the fact that he kept my money from the fort without my permission. From the moment we stepped off the plane, our transportation, lodging, and guide-led sightseeing were taken care of. The hotels were very nice, and it was such a relief to have the logistics handled by Varanasi. We had the same driver the entire nine days, and he (Ankit Kumar Tiwari) was safe, punctual, professional, respectful, and very nice. Our guides were also very knowledgeable. I was nervous to take my daughter to India, but using Varanasi Excursions, my expectations were beyond met.
